My cat was nervous going to the vet and ended up urinating in her cage I transported get in. The tech went ahead and cleaned her up, cleaned up the cage, and gave us a spare towel to place in the bottom of the cage in case she had an accident on the way home. The only negative thing was the prescription food was a little expensive.

We take our sugar gliders here. All of the staff are friendly. One of our gliders sustained a foot injury recently and we had to take her every couple of weeks for 3 visits total. The same vet saw her each time and was wonderful. You can see that she cares about people's pets and takes time to explain things. We will continue to go here.

I can only account for Northside Animal Hospital's ability to work with rabbits. There are 2 veterinarians who I've worked with for my bunnies. Dr. Krogman is quite competent with rabbits and has a good bedside manner. She's not always up to date on the latest veterinary journals, but she's a quick study and will review articles if you bring hard copies or email them. Dr. Agulnick is reasonably competent with rabbits, but lacks in the bedside manner department and sometimes neglects that the animal's primary caregiver is her greatest resource. At times she seems overconfident and has routinely prescribed medications and supplements for my rabbits that were flavored with poultry or beef, insisting that bunnies will voluntarily eat them if they're mixed with banana (beef-banana is my favorite flavor...) when I called to point out this error in judgement. This adds an additional layer of difficulty to an already stressful task. I've had to make a separate visit to a vet closer to my home to get fruit- or honey-flavored compounded meds which shouldn't have to happen. I still take my rabbits to Northside, but I request to see Dr. Krogman when scheduling an appointment. Beyond that, I find the facilities clean and the staff were helpful and compassionate. They have on-site parking and the main entrance is not wheelchair accessible.

Your pet is definitely safe here they are open 6 days a week and great hours. Prices are well worth it, reasonable for the care and pretty standard. Even the folks who work the desk care its a great place you won't regret bringing your pet here.

I have been taking my pets there for several years and they have been competent but unfortunately I will never return. My dog hurt his leg and I called on a Saturday to see if he could be seen. He also needed his rabies shot and I asked if the Dr. could see me for both issues. They told me they were busy but to come in at 10:20am. When I saw Dr. Lui I was told they were too busy to do anything that day and come back Monday. She actually shamed my by saying other people had made appointments and they should not have to wait. If as a vet you cannot do anything just tell me that you are not available. Tell me to make an appointment for Monday over the phone and then I would have the choice to either wait until Monday or bring him to an emergency clinic. All that Dr. Lui cared about was getting money for an additional office visit while completely wasting my time and stressing my dog out for no reason. I am a very calm and reasonable person so for me to be mad enough to write a review should give all of you out there a reason to stay away. This was the second time this happened to me regarding a Saturday appointment so I now know this is the way they run their business. I called and talked to their administrator Sandy to transfer all my records to a new vet and she acted concerned but did not offer to refund my charge for a pointless office visit. If this is the way they run their business I do not trust them with my pet.

The facility itself is small but the staff are excellent in the care of any pet. I use this facility for my ferrets because I love the exotic vets and it is close to my home. It does get a bit busy like any other vet facility but the staff are friendly and you always seen to feel comfortable.

This place is a no-frills old fashioned veterinary clinic where they take excellent care of your animal. I have seen everything from cats to hedgehogs and rabbits. They specialize in dogs and cats, but will treat anything. Their techs and vets obviously love what they do and they won’t rob you blind or constantly upsell. They saved my big tiger cat when another vet had traumatized him to the point of death. I will only bring my animals to these people.

Ive been going here for 17 years, Dr.Bloomfield was just amazing and so informative, and such a caring Doctor, im very sad to see him retire, i hope to recive the same treatment as Dr. Bloomfield as given me. When my first dog, Blackie, developed urine problems Dr. Winnie tried many options to discover what was causing the problem. When it became obvious that surgery was necessary, Dr. Winnie found a tumor that was not removable. She rigged at catheter until I was able to get back and say goodbye. Everyone mad the process bearable.

You can't find a better exotic vet in the Manchester area. They have not one, but two vets who are very experienced with rats and always err on the side of caution. I have been taking my rats for the past few months and I've overall been pretty pleased. They even trimmed my boy's nails when they neutered him! Excellent rates for the quality service they provide. The reason I'm only giving 4 stars is that the front desk staff are often pretty rude, unhelpful, and dismissive, and it hurts my feelings. I may update after my boy is completely healed from his neuter if anything changes.

this is a god send to find this place to help me and my rabbits (HANK)and (sunshine) . I can't imagine going anywhere else to get the care for my rabbits or as I say (my kids) they mean so much to me. they set my mind at ease by calling me when they were ready and to answer any and all the questions that I had, and I had a ton of them. I also am thankful for the call updates on the progress of what they were doing and how it was going these calls meant so much to me and set me at ease . Came two days in a row with my pet and although the vetinarian and vetinary assistants did a great job I did wait over 20 minutes both days to be seen. And I came on time. Having a 7ft long boa constrictor in the waiting room gets quite a bit of negative attention too, which I find unnecessary seeing as it is a vets office and you should expect to see animals there.

I've been taking my cats to Northside since I moved to Manchester in the early 90's. The entire staff really care about the animals they treat, and they always seem to be up to date on the latest research. One of the things I value is that they respect their customers - when I tell them something isn't quite right with one of the cats, they listen and take it seriously. At the same time they're realistic about treatment options, both in terms of what it means to the pets quality of life, and in terms of whether the human can afford to try them. They explain them, and let you make the best decision possible for you and your pet. I wouldn't take my furry kids anywhere else, unless they needed emergency care at 2AM, or a specialist.

I initially called about scheduling an an appointment and the woman on the phone was so warm and took the time to answer my questions and actually chit chat some. They are so incredibly knowledgeable and are really looking to do what's in the best interest of your pet. The only place we take our dog. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. They are very friendly and honest. I've never felt like they were trying to sell me something I didn't need.
