I recently switched to Main Street Animal Hospital after having a really horrible experience at another veterinary facility. Michelle (receptionist) made getting in for our appointment nice and smooth- even requesting our records from our previous facility for us prior to coming in. Dr. Grambow was amazing! She took the time to understand all my dogs needs, discussed all of our options for treatment and when I had left a message a few days later regarding medication she called me back the same day. Being in the veterinary field myself, the staff here treats you like they've known you for years even if it's your first time coming in and welcomes you with open arms and great conversation! It truly is a great environment here and I'm so happy I made the switch! They are fantastic!

Moved back to this area recently and we don't have enough words to say all the good things about this wonderful place! We've taken both our cats and now our puppy. Whenever we've had a problem they've always worked with us to schedule an appointment almost immediately. Not to mention how incredibly kind and understanding all the staff is. Plus, the most informative and professional Veterinarians I've ever come across. Highly recommend to anybody!!

They are very lovely and caring. I had to put my 16 year old cat down, my vet WAS Salem Animal Hospital, when I called and explained my situation, SAH said they could not get me in because it was 4pm with not openings left and gave me two options; (btw, they are never busy) that I could come in the next day (which was NOT an option) OR come in and wait PLUS pay an emergency visit charge ontop of a office visit and the cost of the procedure. What the hell is the difference? Mind you I have been using them for the past 2 years. They did not care. After trying to get them to listen and they wouldn't, I told them I was calling someone else that could help my poor baby girl out. I then called Main St., explained my situation and they told me to come in right away. They did not know me, I had never used them before, but THEY CARED! And they were awesome through the entire process. After my horrible experience with SAH, I will be using Main St to take care of my 14 month old dog. They even called SAH and got all his records to I did not have to speak with them. CARING PEOPLE, LOVING YOUR PETS AS THEY WERE THEIR OWN.

Excellent staff, nice and friendly clean facility. Although their prices are super expensive compared to my other two vets that I use to go to. Also everytime I'm there they always try to upsell me on services or products. So all in all. I wish their prices were little bit lower for the services they provide.

Loved my experience there, those girls are amazing and so welcoming!!!! There was never once where I felt like the were a stigma when I told them I had a pit bull they made me feel so happy that they understand the breed just like I do!!! I can’t wait to share my experience with everyone!!!

I transferred my pets to Main Street after a misdiagnosis by a local vet resulted in a Boston ICU stay for one of my dogs. All 3 of my pets have a permanent vet at Main Street, who knows their histories and treats them like his own. I couldn't be happier, or more confident in the care we have received since making the move 6 years ago.
