They deserve so much for what they do, our baby kitten was attacked by a neglected dog and ripped out poor kittens face open, they were open when no one else was and was quick to seeing and treating our little one.i couldn't of asked for better. I would trust them again and again with my animals

Very unclean- had to wipe up urine on the floor of the room they put us in to wait Our beloved cat was so ill-wait time was 2 hours before being seen, another 2 hrs to be told at first it was a bad bladder infection then 10 minutes later they tell us it could be kidney failure We could not afford the cost of having him stay there we were sent home with antibiotics and pain med Upshot is our cat is dying as we speak And to be charged $95.00 just to walk in the door? Maybe they could use some of that money to hire a cleaning service Doctor was a condescending, had no empathy and the bottom line here is money is the first priority

What ended up costing but $600 was to be $2,500 if I had used Littleton Pet Emergency. If I had left my poor little dog, with her eye hanging 2 inches out of her head, with them for 9 hrs until Vet opened, $900+ dollars was the quote. They said she would likely die if I brought her home and to the Vet in the morning, of shock. Luckily the Vet answered the phone at 10pm on a Sunday night. Stated it was not a life threatening injury and to bring home and keep comfortable. Littleton Pet Emergency takes adantage of peoples emotions, and charges quadruple the ordinary cost of services. What really bothers me is that advised very strongly against any alternative to using their services to keep the client, easy to see why. Yes they are polite and nice. But if you are on a lesser social scale, they allow the couple in nice clothes to cut in front of you after already waiting 1.5 hrs and simply stepping out the door. I would strongly advise that if you can avoid using these services, unless you have no other alternative. To prey on those experiencing emotional distress over their pet is disgusting, I almost made a rash decision to put the dog down because of this excessive over-charging for a simple procedure of eye removal. BEWARE the BILL

FAST-PROFESSIONAL-COMPASSIONATE!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND. CAPE HORN VETERINARY SERVICES (reg.vet)referred us early Sunday am for Cupid (senior dog)&had to be euthanized but got extra 15months from excellent Cape horn vet care for spindle cell sarcoma. THE LITTLETON VETERINARY SERVICES WERE VERY CARING&ACCOMODATING.THANKYOU FOR HELPING OUR FAMILY MEMBERS IN HIS FINAL HOURS.

I found this place to be VERY expensive and the staff to be rude. The vet did not give any information freely on what was wrong with my cat or how my cat might have injured herself. Will not ever go back there again.

Called my vet at 9:30 pm and got a recording to call and emergency vet clinic over 2 hours away. Called Littleton vet emergency said come in. My dog was suffering from cancer and actually had an appointment with her vet the next day which we figured would be to euthanize her. She took a serious turn for the worse and we brought her to Littleton. They are wonderful! Waited about a half hour, better than a two hour drive. As far as cost a little more than a regular vet but you have to remember your paying for emergency services just like when you use the ER rather than your doctor. These people are sympathetic and caring. Recommend this place highly.

Sadly my experience was that this place only cares about collecting the $$$. After a less than satisfying experience here not only did I choose to leave before my pet received treatment but I don't intend to ever return. If an emergency with my furry friends arises I will go the extra twenty minutes to Burlington. After sharing my story with friends MANY conveyed similar experiences of poor service and disappointment. The receptionist and nurse/assistant were fantastic, I have to say, the vet was a miserable, condescending twit.

I agree with the other ppl on here this place cares more about the money then the animal you should have seen how they acted when they were told we could only afford to give them $1000 last night but we could do more later on they sent our dog home with no clear answer to what is exactly wrong with him

Buyer Beware!!! Don't let them run tests on your pet!!!! Be calm and ask what will keep your pet safe and comfortable until you can see your vet . They will run every test in the book and try and give you medications at a much, much higher cost then your vet. Don't let your emotions get the best of you or you will have some very different emotions when you see the HUGE bill they will stick you with. Make sure you understand the actual EMERGENCY issue and not the underlying issues that may have caused the emergency issue and have them treat for ONLY that issue. I may never be able to pay off the huge bill I incurred. In the end I have to see my vet who gave my pet ONE shot and the problem was solved.

Worst service I have ever had at a vet clinic. We called to let them know we were on our way, driving there from over an hour away because our dog got ran over. When we arrived they chose to care for a dog with a few porcupine quils before ours. After an hour they finally looked at him, after 3 hours and as much pain medicine as they could give safely he was still screaming. They couldn't get an X Ray of his back because he was still in so much pain. They suggested he stay overnight and try again in the morning. What a complete joke, we took him to Lebanon instead imediately. I will NEVER go back.

I went to the Littleton emergency veterinary practice on my worst day. After almost fifteen years with my Brussels griffon, he suffered a stroke when we were on vacation and I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him down. I called the hospital sobbing and they were so so kind, the listened to me sob through what was happening and said “I’m so so sorry... we are here when you need us.” Their compassion extended when I walked in the door carrying him. They were kind, soft spoken, and have me as much time as I needed. I cannot thank them enough for the kindness they showed me and my Cedge, truly, they were wonderful.

The staff were nice and knowlwdged, however if you don't pay your bill they will tack on money every 30 days. They don't care if you can't pay it either. Then the next time you go in they will DENY you help because you haven't paid your bill!!

The techs were wonderful and very sweet when we arrived with our rabbit, who had a seizure en route and passed away in my arms. They were very sympathetic and went over all the services available for his cremation. Such great people.

Way overpriced, don't really care about anything other than getting paid. If I was able to see another vet for half the price, I would have but I had very little options at the time. No options of payment plans, no real help. Basically if you don't have the money right then and there, you might as well take them home to die.

They found a tumor on my mother's dog other vets missed for years, even though there wasn't much in it for them. He had to be put to sleep, but fortunately they were there to help when his usual vet was closed.

So glad that they are here. They provide excellent care and after hour vet care is a needed service . I have brought my dog Wood here twice. Both times for possible poisoning or maybe heat stroke. Last night Woody was drooling, lethargic and shaking. He wouldn't eat or drink and had thrown up earlier in the day. It was hard to put a finger on the cause because a combination of things were possible. He was treated by Dr. Holly VanNess and she was very thorough and treated several of his symptoms. This morning he appears much better. I understand some peoples complaint about the price but this is a special service not a regular hours vet. This point is mute in my opinion when you need this service and all the other vets are in bed sleeping.

I needed a vet and none of our local veterinarians were open or willing to come in and see my dog after he had an unfortunate encounter with a porcupine. With both a face and mouth full of quills I really didnt have much choice. The staff was very kind and caring toward us. The cost...well let's say it seemed a bit high for removing quills. That having been said when you are the only place for hours around that is open, I guess you can name your price. I'm grateful they were there when we needed them.
