DESCRIPTION

We have all the opinions of real people like you who consume the products and services of Henniker Veterinary Hospital (Veterinarian) near New Hampshire.

Nowadays the firm receives a rating of 4.4 out of 5 and the rating has been calculated on 14 reviews.

As you can read, the average of ratings is quite positive, and it's based on a more or less high of feddbacks, so the assessment is more or less reliable, although it doesn't have a enough amount of evaluations to grant it total credibility.

As you know, we do not usually stop to place feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

This Veterinarian is classified in the category of Animal hospital.

Great customer service and emergency care. Wouldn't bring my fur family anywhere else.

Do not let the name fool you. This place is just a clinic, not a hospital. My boyfriend and I recently tried to go here because one of our cats was actively bleeding heavily from his backside, and we were furious with the way we were treated. When we came in and explained what was going on, we were asked if we scheduled an appointment. Of course we hadn't -- who schedules an appointment for a potential emergency? You don't. You grab your pet and book it to the nearest "hospital". After we confirmed we didn't have one, we waited a full five minutes for the woman working with us to see if they had time for us, while she appeared to dally about in the backroom with her coworkers, only to be told it would be a couple hours because they already had appointments for other "emergencies" booked up. Perhaps those appointments were actual emergencies, I can't say. I certainly can't wish ill on another animal that may have a threatening issue. What I can say is that I don't believe anyone who has the time to wait for an appointment has an actual life or death emergency for their pet. It is absolutely appalling that two clearly distressed pet owners with an animal that was ACTIVELY BLEEDING FROM ITS REAR would be told they would have to schedule an appointment for later. If you care about your pet, forget about this place and make the drive to the AVC in Manchester. They are 24 hours, with professional staff that are always willing to take emergency walk ins, and will never turn you or your pet away. They are worth the drive. This place should not advertise itself as a hospital if it isn't one. I would give it zero stars if the rating system would allow it. Only time we've ever tried to go, and we will never again make the mistake of wasting time on our way to AVC to see if this place can help us sooner, because they won't.

I have to say Dr Amy Jones is the best. She is always happy to see us! Takes care and time in caring for my 2 lab mixes. Dr Jones makes you feel right at home and cares for your animals just like they were her own. I highly recommend Dr Jones! All the staff at the hospital are friendly kind and caring also. THANK YOU Dr Jones for always taking good care of Bella and Zoe :-) your the best!

The staffing at henniker veterans is by far the best in the state. We have been bringing our pets here for 14 years. Truly compassionate people.

Exceptional, knowledge-based services - these guys rock when it comes to the latest in diagnosis, treatment and general pet care. I've experience with several other hospitals and clinics and have found the vets here to be wholly trustworthy. They're polite and courteous but also willing to explain everything to my satisfaction (in lay terminology) so I make informed decisions. The hospital is easy to get to, too, with plenty of parking right at the main entrance. Oh, I really like that the main entrance is divided so arriving pets don't see exiting pets - no confrontations! Very clever!

I bring my Havanah Grace, a havenese, to this vet and I love them!! I’ve never been more satisfied with a vet. I personally think the prices are reasonable and the wait times are practically nonexistent. I’m always in and out, the most I’ve waited was five minutes max. The staff is absolutely excellent and I love the doctors. Thank you guys.

My dog is highly reactive at the vet. When she is introduced correctly she is sweet as pie but having to be picked up and given shots makes her snarl and growl to the point where she would make an excellent voice actor for a demon in a horror movie. The vet is always very calm and professional. She understood how much we love our dog and never made us feel judged. The vet tech who helped me fill her prescription told me that they had a mini Mala (my dog) fan club because a lot of them had reactive dogs of their own. Having a reactive pitbull can be really difficult but everyone at Henniker vet was super accommodating and understanding. I have never felt like Mala was unwelcome or a burden. It means more to me and my wife than I realise. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone in the area.

My dog, Vicky, had 2 large cysts on her back. She had stopped eating, and drinking—I thought she was going to die, and I was freakin' out! The staff not only took excellent care of Vicky, but managed to reassure her stressed out mom (me)! I don't remember the name of the woman who examined Vicky, but I was so relieved to see that she had a caring way about her, and that she had no qualms about handling my old rottie. She did a full exam on Vicky, assessed the situation, and put her on antibiotics and pain meds for a week before surgery. Hallleluja! She wouldn't be suffering through another night of pain! They also took her in the back room and completely clean up her oozing wounds, shaving the blood/puss encrusted fur so it would be easier for me to keep clean during the week before surgery. When we left the office that day, I had renewed hope that Vicky would survive. It's been a week since the surgeries, and Vicky is doing FANTASTIC! Thank you Henniker Vet Hospital!
