Hampton Vet took my precious little man, without an appointment, when he was very sick and his established Vet told me to go to the ER. Needless to say, I left the other place in Portsmouth and drive to Hampton where they truly care for the health of my pet. They also take really great care of my Rat Terrier when I board him there...they're just great all around. Very friendly staff. too....

Our dog was loved from the minute we stepped in to the minute we left. He soaked that right up. They were kind, gentle, and very good with the check up and shots, They worked with us on medications as we are on a fixed income now. Best thing of all - they loved our dog, and so do we!

Fenway got into something, got stung or ate something but whatever it was, his whole face swelled up and he looked like a chipmunk...his body was covered with hives. When my husband saw all this, he called me at work. I told him to go directly to Dr. McClellan's office right away. He threw on clothes and off he went. I called Hampton Vet Hospital and told them what was going on. When hubby got there, they were all ready for him. They took Fenway right in as soon as they got there and he got a benadryl shot and some tests!! I was afraid his throat would close up. I am so thankful that they are in our lives. All the doctors and staff are awesome and rank high for us. I can't say more about them. They are sincere, normal, passionate people.

We had to take my old girl to the vet about a month ago because she was having a hard time walking. This was only the second time she had ever been. She was always a healthy girl. Well my old vet said they can not fit her in that day so I call HVH and they took her right in. She was fine, just some arthritis in her back and she is now on meds. Well had to take here again for a crusty thing under her chin the other day and they took her right in once again. she is fine just kitty acne. My Baby girl just loves them there. She is so calm and at ease with them. They are gentle and soft spoken with her and she loves that. I am so glad I left the old, cold, front desk help, can't find the time for your kitty, kind of place and found HVH. We love them there. TY so much for taking care of my Baby girl, Dr Senter (you rock), Rachel, and HVH!!! :) I just want to add, they gave us the option if we wanted pills or a shot for her antibiotics and were not pushy at all on one or the other. It was a no brainer for us on the shot versus the pills with a kitty that would never tolerate a pill being put down her throat. So glad to have the option. :)

I feel very comfortable giving a 5 star review. I have 2 dogs and have gone to many vet clinics over the years. At this clinic I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. The staff is attentive and completely professional, even with the balls of fur quietly sleeping at their feet. Both Dr. Jason McClellan and Dr. Patrick Connor have been invaluable and informative, as well as warm. Both doctors sat on the floor and got to know my dogs!! Fantastic information and follow-up. Not only do I get follow up emails but I have even received calls. My dogs are a part of my family and their vet is as important as our family doctor, and this clinic meets those standards.

I have been a client at Hampton Vet since 1979 because of the quality of the staff from front desk to vet techs to the doctor. They have all had compassion for my purrfect pets and it shows. I always feel as though I am with family. In April I had to send my 17 year old kitty over rainbow bridge and the staff was very understanding and compassionate. There were tears in their eyes too. I could see how the loss of her affected them too.

Madison loves everyone there, They are very gentle when it is physicak time, Shots are administered where she barely if at all notices it, Sue is her groomer, Madison loves her. Sue even shops for dog nail polish with her in mind, Madison leaves with bows behind her ears or a new scarf around her neck, I have no idea how Sue gets the bows on, Madison has short hair, This is a great place to take your pet.

Very friendly staff, very accommodating. They are everything you want in a vet. However they are a bit pushy with drugs. They push this antibiotic shot that is $250, but you can get pills for fraction of the price that work just as well, and if they don't then you can try the shot.

Hampton Veterinary is the absolute best in animal wellness and care. Everyone in the office, hospital and grooming have treated my pet with the best of care and love. I have total comfort and faith in each staff member. I have been there for emergencies, wellness and grooming and they are the best. My dog loves Susan and comes home looking beautiful after being groomed. The Veterinarians are patient and caring making sure I know what is going on a with the health of my dog. I am so happy and relieved we have found such a caring group of people to make sure my dog lives a healthy life.

I have been bringing my Cairn to Dr. O'Connor for greater than a year now, and have chosen him to be Shea's sole health and wellness provider. In addition I want to take the time to saying Erin a now 6 month employer there is wonderful. Dr. O'Connor is professional and warm and compassionate. Who also allows time to catch up on the owner of their pet as well. I highly recommend this hospital and can attest to a continued happy experience here and with the choice of Dr. O'Connor for the care of my best friend Shea Dolan Cairn Terrier, Professionally trained service dog and emotional support dog. Shea is a wonderful welcomed support dog for 3 hospitals in Ma. on the mental health units and substance abuse units. I absolutely love the friendly staff and the amazing service we receive at Hampton Veterinary Hospital. We take our energetic Wheaten there for medical services and for overnight boarding! She loves it and they send us text messages with photos and updates. We tried other boarding facilities in the area but she kept getting stressed stomach and sick...not the case at Hampton Vet! She loves the staff and is happy to stay overnight with them.

I have been bringing my Yellow Lab, Bella, to the Hampton Veterinary Hospital approximately 6 years during which I have found it to be an excellent care provider for all of Bella's needs - spaying, routine exams, vaccinations, dissolving bladder stones and advice on successfully reducing her weight when that was advisable. The staff and Veterinarians show genuine interest and concern for Bella's needs and keeping me informed. Finally, it is also nice to say that Bella is very comfortable going to the HVH. I am happy to say that the care and concern for Bella continues to be very evident in our latest visits to HVH.

We love everyone who works here. They are very caring and take such good care of our dog, Henry! We recently had a visit because of a broken tooth. Dr. Senter was very good at explaining the process. She gave us plenty of time to ask questions. She was just wonderful. We've also seen Dr. McClellan. He took great care of Henry during his heartworm treatment. He also takes his time with us. Explains every process so we understand. And there is always enough time to ask questions. And for the rest of the staff, they are incredible with Henry. And believe it or not, after all he's been through, he still enjoys going to the vet to see his favorite techs and front desk staff. Thank you all for being such a great team!

I have been caring for special needs cats for the past 11 years. I moved here from Massachusetts where I had the best relationship you could possibly ask for with my vet. I considered commuting to Salem, MA to continue care there because they were phenomenal through my previous cat’s lengthy terminal illness. I’ve been to two different vets up here and hadn’t been thrilled with the care/bedside manner. I sought out New Hampshire Veterinary Clinic based on online reviews and local word-of-mouth. I’m very happy I did. Dr. McClellan spent a good chunk of time with me explaining his thoughts on my cat’s condition and how to improve his quality of life. He strongly advocated for my cat and talked through my hesitancy for surgery without being patronizing. He helped me understand and feel confident that this procedure is the best thing for my cat and also to confident in his skills with this procedure. He also called within 24 hours to go over lab results and spent a good amount of time answering more questions. I’m thankful to have found this clinic.

10 stars... 20 stars to this practice. My Max went to sleep peacefully in my arms less than an hour ago. Such a loving cat. I was not going to allow him to suffer with cancer. Dr. Sara Senta and Angela explained every step of the process to me , and they gave me all the time I needed for my final goodbye. After Max received his sedative, I opened the room blinds ; and, as the sun began to set, I held him and we watched the world begin going to sleep. Then Max received his last injection; and without the slightest movement, he also went to sleep. Thank you Angela and Dr. Senta. I am done with crying, and I know I made the right decision concerning my Max. But thank you so much for assuring me that I had.

I moved to North Hampton at the beginning of Oct. I have a 3 year old golden retriever & I needed to find her a new vet. I must say that we loved our previous vet & she is the one who recommended Hampton Veterinary Hospital to me. I am very glad she did because it is not the closest vet to my new home. I checked them out online & then I wrote them an email telling them all about my golden, Biscuit. I received an email back suggesting that I make an appointment. The next time I went to look at my email the doctor had written me an email too! Right then I knew that this is a place that cared. So I made the appointment for that same day & I spoke with some of the staff and with our new vet, Dr. Jason McClellan. Everyone was so nice & Biscuit seemed to really like it. The Dr. said she was just perfect & I could tell that he really liked her. I think that Biscuit & I are beginning a great new relationship with the folks at Hampton Veterinary Hospital. I know that they will give her the care that I want her to have. It has made the move just that much easier.

My dogs are actually happy to visit Hampton Veterinary. The vets and all staff care about your pet as much as you do - the level of care shows. The veterinarians are knowledgeable regarding various conditions, and discuss developing the proper care plan with you. With four dogs and three cats,you have to have a vet who is understanding and caring. I could not ask for better care than we get at Hampton Veterinary Hospital. We nearly lost one of our Chocolate labs to hepatitis last year and the Doctors. and medical assistants were in constant contact with us through the ordeal. They treated him as if he were one of their own. and he pulled through with flying colors. We just brought a puppy Pug into the family and he was treated with great kindness and tenderness on his little puppy visits. No fearing the vet for him. I would highly recommend the Hospital to anyone in need of veterinary services.
