I did not feel my pet was cared for properly, these people play on your emotions and use it against you when they know you would do anything to save your pet's life. They charged me for stuff I really dont believe was given to my pet and he still ended up passing away the very next day. I should have left the second I walked through the door the smell was that bad. I regret even coming here. My fur baby probably would still be with me.

We have entrusted the loves of our lives ( Brutus, Beauty and Sinbad ) for many years now to CARING HANDS HOSPITAL. They handle and treat ours as if they were their own. I find that very rare today. Dr. Armondo and his staff are truly the nicest professionals when it comes to their field of work and service. It's always what's best for your pet with care and compassion but also the will to be flexible with their clients when the need is there. As long as CARING HANDS HOSPITAL exists we will be patients!

You're pets will truly be in "Caring Hands" We only tried them out for their dental promotion we found on Groupon, but I have to say that we are very pleased with our visit. My cats are older and it included bloodwork to check on my kitties health. Everyone loved my Gemini (my kittie) The check-in and check out was fast, friendly, yet thorough. No two hour wait here, which can be hard on my cats (and my own sanity) They had no problem adding vaccines to the visit, and also removed a lump from my cats arm. They called me when the bloodwork came back for Gemini before getting her surgery to let me know she may need additional fluids to just help the anesthesia along based on her bloodwork check. I didn't feel like they just wanted my money and that they actually cared about my cats(unlike other vets around here) Thank you Caring Hands!

Every time I have to take one my babies here I always know they will be in great hands, all the staff members I have met is very friendly and makes me feel like my furry family members will be well taken care of. Not to mention the prices are extremely reasonable, I don't have a problem paying any amount for them to get medical attention as long as I don't feel like I'm being taken for a fool. Put your trust in Caring Hands and you won't be disappointed.

I took my dog here for boarding for a week while I was out of town. I spent over 250 dollars at this place between the required vaccinations and the kennel costs. When I picked up my dog she was covered from head to toe in feces, was infested with fleas, had vomiting and diarrhea she wouldn't eat for 4 days, and later got some form of eye infection from feces in her eye. I called and spoke with one of the workers here and he denied the presence of fleas in the kennel and denied that there was any problems with the dog during the stay. mind you this same worker was the one who handed me my feces covered dog when i picked her up. the only attempt at remedying the situation was an offer of a free bath and examination, that is too little too late. I will never be trusting this establishment with my pet again, and i highly recommend to steer clear of this place.

Placed a call yesterday morning re my 18 year old dog who had developed lumps on her chest. Went to great lengths to describe issue and my concern about lymph glands and possible cancer. As we live 75 miles away from LV was promised a call back when vet finished attending to another animal. None came by close of business. Cant tolerate unprofessional conduct like this. Non-response is unacceptable. Called in first thing this AM and requested records be sent to me for other new responsible vet. Still no response as of today including request for records.*** update*** Response from owner is disingenuous. I had already talked on phone, followed with voicemail and then sent email with name, phone number, pets name, still no response. I have now contacted Nevada Vet regulatory agency. They will get involved tomorrow morning.

First time here & I will definitely be switching to this vet full time for all three of my dogs. I called this morning as my boxers eye was swollen & had been for a few days I kept an eye and it wasn't getting worse or better but I needed to take him so they got me in 2 hours after I called. Gave me antibiotics for babies eye and seemed to really care about my questions and concerns which set my mind at ease considering I had a bad experience with a previous office in Vegas & had been on the hunt for new vets who care. My boxer is 11 years old and him & I both don't trust many vets. He loved this vet and his assistant he let them take temperature put eye medicine in and got super close to his face. My boxer is usually pretty stand offish esp with males so it made me feel better knowing he trusted these guys especially so close to his face. Thanks again!!! We will see you guys again!

I heard from this place Online they had very decent reviews so I decided to take our pet to this clinic . We just moved from North Carolina so our dear Milo was in need of a new Caring Vet . They put our doggie to sleep to scale and polish his teeth . They called me a few hours to let me know that the Vet was recommending an antibiotic and a rinse and it was only going to cost me $48.00 dollars more . I stated that I do not have the money for the RX but I would purchase the antibiotic drops and PETRX , ( pet pharmacy ) the antibiotic was only $7.57 and the rinse would be $ 9.56 dollars . I asked fora written prescription and the answer was That I would need to pay $10.00 for the prescription if I wanted it ! I cannot believe the Veterinarian made one last attempt and tried to make more money of us ! He is my dogs doctor , isn’t he suppose to be caring ?? Why the name caring hands ! You cannot trust anyone now at days . If you want a loving and caring doctor please do not visit this clinic they are out for your money

Staff are very caring. They have taken good care of our dog over the past 10 years. They send friendly reminders of upcoming immunizations due. Front office staff aren't the most knowledgeable or trained well. What's important to us is the medical staff. They explain and if they don't know an answer they will go find someone who knows. We highly recommend.

I brought my dog here when he started having seizures. They did all kinds of expensive tests and prescribed an anticonvulsant. I came the next day to pick it up and was told to come in for an explanation of how to use it, only to realize that they decided to charge me after they said they wouldn't. Not only was that frustrating but a few days into the medication his seizures got worse and he was starting to bloat. After a week or so of him going downhill, we decided to take him off the medication as it was doing more harm than good. At this point his seizures had stopped and we thought that he was going to get better. After about a month of continuous weight gain and lethargy, he passed away. When the mortician came to pick up his cadaver he had informed us that the dosage that he was receiving was way too high, in turn causing his bloat which ultimately led to his death. I am very disappointed in the hospital director Armando Martinez who put us through such a traumatizing event. Please don't let your dogs be seen by this man. He is an ignorant cheat.

Terrible experience. Staff were friendly upon picking up my dog from dental cleaning. When giving me my price, I said that the paper I had should have covered the whole price, they immediately became rude, didn’t let me finish a sentence, and talked over me. There was no way that they could rectify the situation that they did not make clear in the first place, and said they don’t offer free services what so ever. They also informed me that my dog was having severe diarrhea with blood in it. When asked if maybe it was a reaction from the anesthetic, I was told “no, I don’t think so, it has peanut shells in it.” Mind you, she didn’t eat anything past 8pm that night and certainly didn’t have access to anything that resembles peanuts or peanut shells. Brought her home and she is fine. No diarrhea. No blood. She’s acting completely normal.

Teeth cleaning,was amazing!! Dr. Martinez fixed my dogs broken jaw 17 years ago, I took my dog to him recently and guess what?! Still the same amazing Dr. I saw the other Dr too and how he handled the pets and I'm very happy with what I saw.. This isn't your typical vet, they really care and want to help your pet at an affordable price. So happy I found them.

Beware of cheap price quote over the phone. Our dog needed surgery so we called around and Caring Hands had a good price so we made an appointment to have it done. When we dropped the dog off and signed the consent we double checked again on the price and the said it was a good deal and it shouldn't be a problem keeping it in the "range" of the 500$ we were quoted. When we picked up our dog later that day the bill was 980$. I don't write reviews often but thought if this would help at least a few people from having the same thing happen to them I might as well spend the time. I owned my own car customizing business for 17 years in Washington State and would never pull something like this with someone's vehicle let alone a dog but I have lived in this town long enough to see how greedy and sneaky these businesses and people are here. Taking advantage of people and lying to customers to line your pockets is no way for decent people to treat each other. Please use another veterinary clinic that has morals and cares about people and animals more than green paper. Giving 2 stars because dog is still alive and asume surgery was done corectly but I'm not a Veterinarian.

Up charges for everything. With one of my puppys we bought the puppy package that was supposed to cover the first year of services. But every single visit they wanted to add in something not covered by the plan. Also for some reason my two dogs were terrified of the vet. He seemed nice enough to me but they both would pee at the sight of him. And before you ask they do not have the same response at the current vet office.

Please save your animal’s life and find another facility. Check all the disciplinary actions against Dr. Martinez. He and his staff nearly killed my almost 3 year old cat, Mitchell. Had a not had the good sense to get a second opinion. The told me my cat had gingivitis and needed his teeth cleaned. A few days later my cat is in worse condition than before I took him. Not only did he catch a virus from their facility, the new vet told me his mouth was full of ulcers and my cat was having trouble swallowing. I took him back repeatedly and they told me his mouth was 99 % healed. He would not eat or drink. They told me to force feed him. They handed us 4 cans of cat food and took their payment. They told me he was fine and to take him home. He still would not eat or drink. He would have died if I didn’t go for a second opinion. Incompetence, uncaring and greedy. Please, if I can save 1 person from the heartache I went through. I have filed a complaint with the state board. Please check you will see he has been disciplined and fined. I hope I can stop him from practicing in our state. I hired a lawyer to handle this matter

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! I made an appointment to have my cat evaluated, took time off of work, and when I arrived the doctor blew me off and had already left for the day. I had to re-schedule and have a family member take her in to be checked upon. My cat apparently required surgery, which I opted to have performed at Caring Hands. I was quoted a price, only to receive a call DURING the surgery for a price increase. Post OP, I was given directions on how to care for my cat only to have the doctor get angry during her checkup a week later because he had either omitted or forgotten a critical step in the care process. She now requires an additional appointment (which I am of course being charged for) because of this lack or failure of communication. It seems as though they need to suck as many dollars from their patients as possible due to their incompetence and failure to perform the duties expected of a doctor. I will NEVER recommend this vet to anyone, nor will I ever return to their office. I hope that this review will prevent others from wasting their money and time with this failing business.

We've been taking our three Labs to Caring Hands for about a year. Our 14-year old Chocolate, Cocoa was diagnosed with a tumor in her ear last year. We had a vet in another part of town who almost insisted that we allow her to perform surgery, which involved removing the entire ear canal. I told her that it seemed unethical to do surgery on a 14-year old dog who might not survive the procedure. We came to Caring Hands after that and have been extremely happy with the services we've received. The veterinary care is superb and the staff members are always helpful, professional and courteous.
