Pretty overpriced and it took way longer then needed to get in just to see a vet. Was sitting in the lobby waiting and a woman came in to get flea and tick meds for her dog and they charged her almost $75 dollars for some frontline i had seen on amazon earlier that day for $40. Focus on the customer not the business pockets..

It takes a long to be seen, from the time you get there and leave is 2+ hours, and doesn't seem like I'm being listened to when trying to tell them my pets symptoms. Their receptionist as quite the attitude so won't be going back. Today I brought my Great Dane in for nail trimming... nothing serious. I waited until 12:50 to bring him in because he doesn't like other dogs and didn't want an incident with someone else's pet. We walk in and said Hi to the receptionist and she stares at me and says hi? Awkward silence... I said ok can he get a nail trim. Well we are closed. I said oh I must have been confused. (Lights on, doors open, sign said OPEN) She stares at me walks back to see if we can do it...bc we are closed... Comes back and says it will be $20...... Because we are closed. Gives me paperwork drops a pen on it and walks away. I walked out grabbed their sign and made it CLOSED Lady pulled and asked if they are closed I let her know I changed the sign and for her sake don't go in there.

I was looking for a vet that was closer to my home after I moved. The first couple visits here were great. I only had to wait a reasonable amount of time and non-emergency customers were taken in the order they came in the door. I was hesitant at their no appointment policy but it seemed to work great. Until today. I waited 2 hours and finally left. They took one customer before me who walked in the door after me which I understand happens, but I think it is not fair to depend on the customer to speak up about who is in line next. While I waited to be put into a room, they took 4 people ahead of me that I know came in the door after me and were not emergencies and not waiting outside. I asked politely how come it took so long to get a room and they said there was an emergency that came in and they only have two doctors working. The emergency that came in was there about 5 minutes before I got a room, so I know that wasn't the hold up. Also, what bothered me is there was a cat in the waiting room almost as long as I was there and it was weezing like it couldn't hardly breathe. It was a little heartbreaking that they did not seem to feel that was more of an emergency and let him sit their weezing in the waiting room. The main receptionist that is usually there is very nice but socializes way too much. While everyone was packed in their waiting room like sardines, she was walking around showing pictures of a dog that just had puppies instead of staying behind the counter and seeing where she could help move things along. They also couldn't find my file at first which I'm sure put me further back in the line to be called. It seems they are fine if there are only a few customers at a time but they cannot handle any kind of crowd. My dogs and I will probably not be returning and I decided to drive a little bit farther to go back to our old vet in Arnold who we have never had a negative experience with.

Overall a nice place but you always feel rushed once you see someone and they don't give you enough information about medications or possible side effects. They used BNT ear treatment on my dog for a minor ear infection and now she can't hear much at all. They kept saying it wouldn't do that and they have never had it happen before, but there are plenty of cases online and then they couldn't even wash out all the medication afterwards. She may have permanent hearing loss now. They also clipped a nail too short on my dog and made her bleed a little. I thought the whole point of paying a professional to clip her nails was to stop potential injury? I haven't had a problem with Dr.Jones himself, but I'd be wary of some of the other doctors there. They don't seem to be very knowledgeable or skilled. If you go there don't let them use any meds until you know ALL the potential risks and try to only see Dr. Jones. Avoid BNT if you have an older dog with an infection, as they could go deaf, and the staff with just look at you and act like you are overreacting.

I USED TO LOVE JONES, BUT WHEN MY GREAT DANE PASSED ON LAST YEAR, I WENT TO ADOPT A PET FROM HUMAIN SOCEITY, AND JONES ANIMAL HOSPITAL TOLD THEM I DIDN'T TAKE CARE OF MY DOG. WELL, THEY WAS WRONG, THAT DOG WAS MY WORLD, SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL, WELL GROOMED, SPOILED, AND LOVED BY ALL. EVERYWHERE WE WENT PEOPLE WOULD STOP US AND WANTED A PICTURE OR VIDEO HOW WELL MANNERED, AND HOW BEAUTIFUL AND CALM SHE WAS. I REALLY HAVE ALOT OF PEOPLE THAT CAN TELL THEM DIFFERENT, I WILL NOT USE JONES ANIMAL HOSPITAL AGAIN. VERY POOR REPORTS ON PEOPLE.

We have been going to Jones for years. It wasn't until this past week that they left me feeling like they don't really care about what is best for our furry family members. My puppy was really sick life threatening sick. Both female Vets I felt didn't do their best for my puppy. I will only go there if Dr. Jones himself is there. I ended up having to take my puppy to the Doggie ER to save his life.

I let my best friend go here. She was sedated with heavy pain medication because we had to wait to get my siblings in the room first. The two ladies handling us were amazing, doing their best to comfort us in this sad time. They gave us the option of staying in the room when the med was delivered or leaving, and we're gentle the entire time. While this usually isn't the place you want to be, they will do their best to make you and your fur baby happy. For Chloe.

We have been going to the clinic for about a year. We had three dogs. It's first come first serve. So it may be 5 minutes to see the vet or it may be upwards of an hour+. I agree with one of the other reviews they seem to rush you in and out quickly. It's difficult to know who is who. We seem to see someone different every time. I don't feel the staff or vets listen to the owners when explaining symptoms. We had to put one our pets down. The first attempt to inject the our baby failed because the vi needle was not properly placed in a vein. The whole process was not handled well. One the second attempt to place another iv needle. The assistant physically restrained our dog to the point she choked her. One of the visits with our second dog that required him to be sedated, he was sent home with the IV needle still in his leg.

I have been going to Jones for about 10 years. The staff is always great. it is first come first serve clinic so appointments are really only given for procedures. I highly recommend them. Just be aware that Monday and Saturdays are crazy and there are normally people waiting in line to get in the clinic at 9. Price are very reasonable.

Not scheduling appointments in today's world is the most absurd thing I've ever heard of! Any time you try to take your pet, be prepared for long waits. And if it's an evening or Saturday (necessary for most people who go to work every day), good luck even getting a parking space or in the door for that matter. People and their pets everywhere, along with dogs nipping and barking at each other. Perhaps the doctors offer good service IF you're willing to wait for hours.

A trusted friend who really babies her animals, recommended Jones Health. My cat and dogs get very good care here. Everyone is attentive to my 4 legged kids. The doctors listen to me and examine my cat and dogs thoroughly. When my much loved lab/golden mix got an aggressive cancer, the doctors here were kind, and honest with the care available. They helped my JoDee.. and my family by their caring attitude and keeping JoDee comfortable to the end. Level of care is high, costs are very reasonable.

I will never go back, or recommend Dr. Jones, again. I was rushed in and out on two occasions when my dog was experiencing significantly extreme symptoms. They basically just put him on every medication to treat all of the symptoms, without ever doing an x-ray or blood work. After it was said and done, I was $130 in the hole, being told I would probably need to put him down in the long run. After speaking with 3 other vets, they disagreed with the diagnosis and said that the way it was handled was extremely sloppy, and that at very least x-rays should have been done to rule out back or hip injury. I am finding it hard to see another vet to get the work done that I need, due to the cost of the two, almost pointless visits to Dr. Jones. My suggestion, stay as far away from this place as you can. They are not personable and care very little for the well being of your dog. -Angry Pug Owner

Butch is fantastic. He met me at midnight in 2000, to keep our English Setter, Shadow alive after being bit in the face by a copperhead. Several moons later, he did surgery on our dog MG that had bladder stones, Butch had to operate twice on her, with MIZZOU vets helping. I can't say enough great things about Butch & everyone that works there. I know of several events where Butch & his entire staff has saved animals from the jaws of death. I recommend them to everyone

Jones Animal clinic came highly recommended to us. We used to visit another vet in the area, but she was very short and impersonal. The doctor here was very friendly and informative. We left feeling like we knew what to do with our new puppy rather than confused. I would definitely recommend taking your animals here. I have been with Dr Jones since he left Dr Strickland and went on his own. I am disabled and live on a limited income now my dog 11 years old and has a bleeding tumor the size of a ping pong coming out his rectum and they WONT see him because I’m broke SO THEY REALLY DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR PET JUST THEIR POCKETS
