The whole office is amazing! I had never brought my dogs here before and was referred by a friend. My pup had a severe allergic reaction and I was scared to leave her alone while I went to work. None of the other places I called before my friend told me about Elm Point would even consider letting me drop my dog off. I called the office and they got me right in and kept my pup while I worked. I was able to make it to work and get my puppy the treatment she needed! The staff was super friendly and I will definitely be using the office as my go to vet from now on!

Dr. Petty and Dr. Little are amazing, along with the techs and front staff! Elm Point is even friendly and professional towards pet owners. They have separate rooms for felines with pheramone spray which really helped my cat feel more at ease. Usually vet trips are highly stressful for her. She even fell asleep on the exam table, that never happens! Also, the staff is very thorough about paperwork, meds and appointments. My cat needed another surgery done and I felt as though she was in trusted hands when I left the hospital. They are genuinely caring towards animals. The staff even encouraged me to call or come by to see my cat. I'm aware my cat can be a grouchy handful when sick or hurt but they never made me feel bad about it, just understood how animals react towards pain and such. They really go above and beyond. My cat came home clean and happy. I think that is because they took great care of her. Thank you everyone at Elm Point!

Wonderful experience. We came in as a new patient with no appointment at 7am. The staff was attentive and compassionate. We were seen promptly. Laurie took a thorough history and spent a good amount of time 'talking' to my cat. Dr. Little's physical exam was the most thorough I had ever seen and he spent ample time explaining the signs and what they could indicate. Recommended testing with cost was put in writing. When the results came back Dr. Little called me and answered my questions and brainstormed what could be affecting my cat based on the near normal values. I made 1 change at my home and my cat is nearly at 100%. We have found our Vet! These people love animals and I would definitely recommend them for your furbaby.

We discovered Elm Point about five years ago. This was after going to four or five different vets and not being 100% satisfied. At the time we lived a couple of miles form Elm point. We now live all the way across town and we would not think about going to a different vet. I think that says enough. Dr. Little and his staff are absolutely the most courtesy, helpful and caring group of individuals you could ask for. I have been meaning to write a review for a while and I keep forgetting. After Dr. Little recently went out of his way to give me a call to personally call and report on the status of our dog I thought I should take the time now. What Dr. Little and his staff do is far beyond reasonable expectations. I have in the past had his staff call just to check in. That really means so much. I am lucky to have found such a place to trust for the care our pet.

Absolutely the best vets at Elm Point. They treat your animal with such loving care. I will always bring my fur babies to them. My family uses therm for all their veterinarian needs. We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved Bassett hound, Zöe. The compassion given to us, was as though they were or family mourning the loss as well. We received a card a couple of weeks after, with a surprise. They had Zöe's ashes planted with a tree in the forest. It was truly touching.

Dr Lang must have been out sick in vet college on dog cancer surgery day, but he still operated on my dog not once but twice with in a month, just could not get it right. Almost killed my dog, but I took her to another animal hospital where the Vets have the know how and USE IT! My dog survived and is doing well. Thanks to Gentle Doctor, Dr Lang at Elm Point Animal should never do surgery on any animal with out the knowledge to succeed. Dr Lang at Elm Point Animal Hospital is a money hungry, liar, brain less, stupid, ignorant, do not ever take your animal to, piece of crap.

We've used Elm Point for veterinary, grooming and boarding for years and have been pleased with the service, so it doesn't make me happy to post what I'm about to say. After taking our dog in for grooming she came back with fleas. This is the first time a dog of ours has gotten fleas, so we didn't understand the situation quickly. We took her back into Elm Point where the vet told he had seen about 40 dogs with fleas. No apology, $127 vet bill, and an ongoing battle with fleas in our house. We are now much less than pleased Elm Point.

THE BEST vet/clinic/groomer experience we've ever encountered. Dr. Little is gentle and knowledgeable. Becky is an amazing and attentive groomer. We had an issue with our dog's scanner chip implant where the manufacturer tried to pull a bait-n-switch subscription service. The front office took measures to make sure this didn't happen again and remedied the situation for us quickly! A superb staff, offering great value, who love their customers almost as much as the animals they bring in. 10/10. Would recommend.

I have brought both of my dogs here for grooming and medical services. They always look good and smell clean after grooming, though if you say not to "cut them too short" without specifying, they'll pretty much just get shaved. I do have an issue with the medical services, however. I brought my dog in to have a skin cyst looked at and it was punctured by a vet and the wound could not heal. I brought him back the next week to see a different vet and he did not read the report or speak to the vet tech beforehand, so he was making incorrect assumptions based off what he could see, so I had to re-explain the infection actually came from another vet at the office who made a large incision and did not attempt to close the wound. I was given antibiotics and that helped, but the wound has reopened and I think surgery is going to be a must. So I will probably be taking my dog elsewhere since the wound has not properly healed after seeing two vets at this office.

Elm Point Animal Hospital is top notch. Dr Lang has saved the day for me twice now. Years ago he helped my boxer (Goose) at 3am on a Sunday when his seizures wouldn't stop. Today he stitched up my beagle/schnauzer mix (Schneagle) after an attack from another dog. In an emergency they drop what they are doing to help. I have gone to Dr. Lang for all of my dogs check ups. The facility is always very clean and presentable and I never have to wait long. Every tech and office person I have met is very professional and attentive. Kudos to whoever does the hiring! EPAH has earned a very loyal customer. They are the only team of veterinarians that I recommend to friends and family. Thank you!!

Best vets around. I have been taking my animals to Dr. Little for over 15 years. They are expanding Elm Point and adding more options for treatment and state of the art surgery rooms. They also do boarding and grooming as well. I cannot say enough good things about them. All the vets and staff are wonderful people who not only care about the fur babies, but their owners. They also have late hours and very early ones making it easy to get your pets in. I recommend them to everyone!

My pup is still in the back, however the fact that they dont allow you to watch your dog while being groomed to me is a HUGE red flag. This place displays pictures of their grooming room online, but that just doesn't cut it for me. The staff does seem to be very nice and treats the animals in the waiting room well. I was just never offered a tour, have never in my life been to this place before. Nobody asked me if I had any questions, just came out and asked for my dog....?!?! I made an appointment over the phone and was told I would recieve a call back regarding immunizations that are required.. Never got a call back and figured we were good to go. We get to the place and they take Paisley back and decide to tell me AFTERWARDS that she needs shots. I truly hope they know you shouldn't bathe directly after receiving shots. Bad, bad business practice all around from what I've seen so far...i must say. Now I'm harping on the poor receptionist asking questions and making suggestions, when they should have been happy to tell me to begin with knowing this is a first for me and my baby..I have really bad anxiety and maybe it's just me.. But i am very nervous and stressed, and so is every animal that comes in, it seems. I've seen them mess up with other customers a couple times in the short amount of time I've been sitting here. These good reviewers are all for the vet.

Most expensive and worst place to board your pet in St Charles!!! We went on a short get a way and left our dog in what I thought was the capable hands of our vet. Boy was I wrong. When we returned to pick him up, they tried to charge us $214. This included giving our dog a flu shot, 1 pill twice a day and letting him go out. The cost seemed excessive. So I questioned it and all of a sudden oops there was a billing error. The cost was now $194. This was for 3 full days and 2 half days. Took them about 10 minutes to bring our dog to us from the kennel. When they did his bed was missing. They first said that he spilled something on it then later admitted that he urinated on his bed. Then told us because of the weather they hadn't taken him out. They said that they were just about to. This was about 3:15pm and according to family the rain quit about noon. In the 4 years we have had him he has NEVER urinated on his bed. I took him outside and he immediately used the "rest room". This to is abnormal for him as he has always has taken his time even after being in his crate/bed all night. This is the last time that I will ever take our dog to them. It is obvious to me that all they care about is money and not the animals.

I recently had to put my dog to sleep. This was not the first time I've had to witness this at Elm Point. But my previous experience was very, very positive--this was not. Previously, the vet put an IV in the dog, gave the dog a sedative, waited for a minute for the dog to relax, and then gave the final shot. He didn't leave during the entire procedure. This time, with my 2 children in the room, he gave our sweet chocolate lab a sedative and then left the room. After a few minutes she collapsed on the tile floor, her tongue started hanging and she was visibly struggling to breathe. It was awful! My daughter had to leave it was so hard to watch. I went to get the vet--and he gave the last shot while the dog lay with legs splayed on the cold, hard floor. But I'm pretty sure she had already passed. What was the vet doing while he should have been in the room with us? Not sure--but for this awful experience that my children and I will never forget--I would very much NOT recommend using this service if you love your dog.

Highly recommended!! We've been taking our doggy here for 3 years. Great, friendly staff and wonderful doctors who won't give you the run around. They also offer several different payment plans for the more expensive but necessary surgeries that many people can't afford outright. The kennel staff is amazing and will take great care of your dogs. Dr. Little allowed my 15 year old son to shadow him for several days just because my son expressed interest in becoming a veterinarian. Now, my son is 17 and part of the Elm Point staff as well.

We took our little kitty cat to the veterinarian for the first time here. The staff was extra friendly and made little Buster feel at home. Buster was very nervous, but they were able to keep him at ease. They were able to identify the cause of his skin patches and gave him the proper medication for them to heal.

I love Dr. Lange and Dr. Little! They are awesome and take great care of my 2 dogs and 2 cats! I have never had any issues with them. Anytime I've needed anything for my pets, they were more than willing to work me in and see them. They are very professional, friendly, caring, and compassionate. You can tell that they love what they do, and they take care of your animals as if they were their own.

Recently had to put our dog to sleep. I can not THANK the staff and Dr. Little enough for the experience we had. We called the vet office when they opened so they knew we were on our way. When we arrived they had a room ready for us. They had laid out a nice blanket/towel on the table and had soothing music already play in the room. When Dr. Little came in the room our dog was in the middle of having a seizure. He immediately got the sedative to stop his seizures. After giving the sedative the doc and vet tech told us to take as much time with our dog as we need and that they would be wait outside so that we could have some private time with our dog. Once we were ready the doctor came in and gave the final shot. He began check his vitals and once our dog had passed they again gave us alone time with our dog. Not once did we feel rush and were allowed as much time with our dog as needed. Once we were done we were allowed to slip out quietly. Later they also provided us with some keep sakes in the form of some paw and nose prints .

Great staff, truly concerned about your pets health and well being. We use them for a dog and two cats. We recently left for a vacation and boarded a sick cat there. We were able to speak with the technicians to see how he was doing, which was a great relief. I have recommended this facility without hesitation.

Extremely professional! I had an emergency once. As I raced up there with my severely injured dog I called them to explain to them I was coming up. I was able to give them all the info they needed while I was driving there. When I pulled up they were waiting at the front door. SeverL nurses holding the door open. One with a towel in their arm ready for me to hand over my injured pup. They didn’t waste a single second. Their top priority was saving the pup. It was an amazing feeling knowing how he was in such good hands. In the end they saved him & I couldn’t be more thankful. I switched all my pets from bogey hills to elm point after that. It was the easiest decision I’ve ever made too.

We love this place. We have always brought our Chihuahua here for normal vet care. We recently got a second dog and since he is bigger we have used almost every service they offer. We have boarded him when going out of town, did day boarding and one on one training during the week, had him groomed on multiple occasions, we are currently going to group training classes at night, plus all the usual vet care since he was a puppy. Most dogs get nervous about going to the vet but our dogs love it there. The staff is always friendly and make you feel like they truly care. They also have a very nice office with all the most up to date equipment. I feel like I can trust them and never feel like they are trying to nickle and dime me or add unneeded services just to pad my bill.

Over $700 for staples seems a bit much. The cone they put on after was pointless. Didn't leave me with much info on what to do next. Wasn't aware there would be interior stitches, they all came out anyway. And why did they have to shave soooo much when the injury was only an inch long!? Not too satisfied with their work. Def won't be going back.

My boy was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer & Dr. Little got me in immediately & even called the oncology place to see when I could go there too. He spent 2 hours with me discussing options & helping to do tests. I was emotional & my dog was amped up & everyone treated us like family. This place is second to none on being personable & loving your pets like they are their own. There is no better place than Elm Point. Dr. Little is the best vet I've ever met & I trust him completely with my animals. Very, very highly recommend Elm Point!

Nothing more exciting than being spammed messaged about your dog being due for his check up and shots. So make the appointment and show up and yep they didn't have him scheduled. They were able to squeeze my dog in to be seen, and well at least the people were very friendly there. Now just need to take my dog to another Vet since he still needs his shots for the year (which was the whole point of the visit).

I have taken our cats Steve and Hugo to Elm Point twice and both times we received loving treatment for our pets. From the reception desk to the doctor and his wonderful assistant, everyone is friendly, helpful, pleasant and professional. I also had to take Steve in for a second checkup because he had a sore spot on the side of his mouth and was acting abnormally and scratching himself. They did a complete checkup, did blood work and luckily Steve was OK, although they found infections in both ears! A bit nasty, but we got wonderful attention and with the ear problem cleaned up, Steve is acting normally again. Love these folks!

We have also used the grooming service. Dr. Lange has been our vet for over 25 years. He is a great vet and a spectacular person. John and I consider him a friend. He has shared in our joy of the puppy, kitty, and more Collies. He has also been with us at the end of our pet's lives. He shared that sorrow with us. We think he is great. We love him!
