Dr. Lance Jefcoat is wonderful with our horses. He possesses true concern for them which is very important; however, he cares for us as well making critical decisions that are for the better good of all concerned [horses and us]. He and Adam [his assistant] make a great team and keep us laughing. We feel privileged to have them as our friends as well as our veterinarian team!!! We love them beyond words and have all faith in them!

Do not take your pets here if you want them back when the visit turns out to be more expensive than you expected because you will lose your pet. I will never take another pet to this clinic. My cat was very sick and not doing so well so I took her there. I found out she had leukemia and there was nothing else I could do so I had to put her down. I was told the bill would be over $200 and I told them I had $60 and another lady who always pays the rest at their sister clinic would be paying the rest. They then told me I had to pay the full amount before I could have my cat and they would not accept my $60 down payment. I then had to call the sister clinic and wait 2 hours before the lady was finally able to pay the remaining balance for me. I feel it was cruel and heartless for them to keep my cat away from me as I was grieving and gave them all I had and they werent willing to work with me. The only options they gave me was pay it in full or leave my cat there.

I have been using Sawmill for almost 30 years. The vets are great and caring. They have always been willing to work with me on treatment options for my babies and thoroughly explain the issue, treatment, and options available. The most important thing is that my pets love the vets as well. I would never take my babies to a vet that they were not comfortable around.

They saved my miniature dachshund from dying when he got botulism from getting into the trash. He spent 3 days in the hospital at Christmas and the vet never left him until he was out of the woods and the he left him with the vet tech. They kept me updated on his condition at all times. I wouldn't use another veterinarian.

I've used them for years with all my dachshunds. Dr L Jefcoat is the vet I prefer. All are very good. The staff are very nice, curtious and seem to be pet lovers as well. My baby girl had surgery today July 24 2019. So far all has gone well. I'm a little anxious waiting on the phone call about her status. Dr. Lance Jefcoat is the most amazing vet in the pinebelt and surrounding area's.. I've never been disappointed with his service. I had to put my beloved schnauzer, Presley down and he was with me every step up the way and treated us as if we were family and she were his dog.. Now, my new schnauzer, Beau is a patient of his, i've yet to have anything to complain about with he and his staff..
