This is such an amazing clinic for your pets. The veterinarians are great. They will take as much time with you as you need. So knowledgeable and caring. The staff is super! They are all so friendly and helpful. I can’t imagine taking my pets anywhere else.

This is an incredible facility! I have always been an animal lover/owner and though my previous experiences with other clinics have been wonderful, Dr Scott Segrest and his staff go above and beyond. Dr Segrest is personable and exceptionally informative. When my sweet Solomon passed, I received a card with kind sentiments in the mail signed by all of the staff. However, what really distinguished this facility was the fact that I had also received a letter from MSU's veterinary program. I was told that Dr Segrest had made a donation to them in Solomon's name. He'll continue to live on, even in Starkville.

When I got my cat from a breeder they recommended I take her to Ridgetowne Animal Hospital. I looked it up online and did some research about the vet and where to take her that was close to home. They have a nice option allowing me to drop off my cat if I need to for an appointment or surgery.

I have boarded my dog there and felt he got good care. But taken in for vet visits, always did way more than I approved. They just did stuff without my knowledge or permission and hit me with the bill at checkout. This happened several times so I changed vets.

My husband and I were traveling and had stopped at a pet friendly hotel in Ridgeland to spend the night. One of our dogs, a beagle mix, had nipped at her partner, a dachshund, on the neck earlier that day; we had washed and treated the small wound ourselves. We noticed that later as we were walking them, the dachshund's neck had developed an infection. Here we were, away from our normal vet and we knew that our pup needed to be seen by someone. Thankfully, Ridgetowne Animal Hospital was quite close. They did a wonderful job treating our dog and he was much better for the rest of the trip. I think people traveling with pets through this area would be relieved knowing that a very good vet is nearby.. Ridgetowne Animal Hospital was able to fit us in right away and treat our pet. The office staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks again for helping us when we were away from home.

Dr. Segrest has helped my GSD Cowboy with severe allergies when no one else could, I now have a healthy & happy boy. Very compassionate when it was time to help my senior cross the rainbow bridge. My dog actually gets excited to go! They always remember my pets and their special quirks, and I feel they do a great job boarding when we are out of town!

I love going to Ridgetowne Animal Hospital. My dog is happy when we go there and happy when I pick him up. He is well cared for and all of the staff is so friendly. Dr. Segrest is very patient with each visit, he listens and takes time with you at your appointments and when you just have a question or concern. This is truly where you want to go if you want great care for your pets.

The staff from Dr. Segrest to the receptionist were all very friendly. They were open personable and quite competent. It was our first time there and we were not in the same room as our pet. However the physician came out to talk with us in a private room, she was extremely knowledgeable, articulate and I felt confident that he was taking good care of my dog.

My cat is not the best when it comes to odd people touching him, so a visit to the vet is out of the question. Yet he recently got sick and I needed to take him. They were able to squeeze me in for my first appointment and the follow up appointment a week later. Dr. Segrest was great with my cat and he was able to check out everything that he needed to without my cat putting up a stink. He was very compassionate towards him. Thankfully he is all better and won't need to go back for a while.

We were just traveling through Mississippi and one of my dogs got bit. I searched online and found the closest animal hospital. Luckily for me it was Ridgetowne. The staff was so friendly and the vet was knowledgeable. She provided us with antibiotics and instructions on how to make everything better. I would absolutely recommend Ridgetowne Animal Hopsital.

I called three other vets in the area and none of them took rabbits. Thankfully Ridgetowne Animal Hospital did. They tried a bunch of different antibiotics to help make my rabbit healthy and one of them worked. I am very thankful that they were willing to give him a try.
