Having been to Randalls several times with multiple dogs they are courteous and professional. They are not going to charge an absurd amount for simple visits, and are as transparent on pricing as they can be. If i ever take my dogs anywhere else other than Randalls it is because Randalls is closed.

I have used Dr. Randall and his staff to treat my animals since they came to Byram. He and his staff have always been friendly and helpful , I couldn't have asked to be treated any better. Everyone there is highly specialized in his or her position. I have panic problems and they have helped me through illnesses of my dogs, so I felt so comfortable having my dogs in their hands. This is a GREAT group of people who care about their patients and their owners. I wouldn't use anyone else!

I took my Boxer in because they were able to do a dental xray. They found a bad tooth, sedated my boy and pulled it. Three days later he had a Grand Mal seizure which turned into three within a 24 hour period. My regular vet did a complete work up with blood tests, all was normal. His consensus of possibilities were the drugs they used to sedate him or traumatic brain injury. Was he dropped on his head while being moved and sedated? I guess we'll never know but Randall will never see a penny from us again. We are extremely angry and upset that something like this could happen and it breaks our heart what he's being put through. He is on phenobarbital and we're trying CBD oil but it's not really helping that much as he's had no less than 8-10 seizures over 2 and 1/2 months.

I’ve known Mike for a few years now. He keeps his clinic in good clean working order. Now that I’m married we have had many vet visits with our border collie Gabbie and our Siamese kitten Kairi. The staff always goes above and beyond to make our pets feel welcomed and loved. Dr. Hyde, Dr. Gibbs, and Dr. Randall have all seen our pets and they make sure to do extra tests and checks if any issue comes into question.

I have been going to Randall Vet since 2008 and spent thousands of dollars. Today, I called to let them know that my dog was very sick. I am completely disabled and live on a fixed income and do not drive due to my declining health. I was told that there were no openings today and that the vet was seeing animals only by appointment nor was I offered a time for later this morning. You would think that in the 4 hrs they are open today that they could see my sweet Weeza but no and this has not been the only time this has happened. I guess because I am totally disabled and struggling to pay all my medical bills and keep up with my living expenses that some people would have a heart and do the right thing but no. I have always paid what I owed to this vet even during my struggles but I guess my Weeza is not a priority now. So sad.

Good clinic, I don't feel like I am being tricked into whatever makes them the most money. They lay out my options, costs, what the treatments will cover and what most people do and leave us to decide what works for us. I have never been blind-sided by a bill like I have at other clinics, nor have I had them try to run tests we did not authorize and bill us for. Nice, honest people that I have dealt with there and I highly recommend them.

Took my guinea pig in due to "crusty eye". Found out she had a mild upper respiratory infection. Dr Gibbs was great with her and even showed me how to give her oral antibiotic to her. Definitely will be back to see them!!!

Excellent service. Dr. Mike removed a tumor from my Labrador with amazing results. He was back on his feet the next day and recovered really quickly. We also take out other two dogs and the cat there for shots, neutering, and other stuff. We always get great service. We're VERY thankful for the great care and professional service. You guys rock.

Amazing!! Very honest about treatment options pros and cons and very affordable. Saved my kittens life. She was dying this morning. Laid over and cold. Dr. Patrick Hyde took in my emergency and was very honest about her chances. We decided to move forward with treatment despite it looking grim and guys! She survived! He tried his hardest and didn't just see her as a lost cause. This will be our vet long term because I was amazed. Thank you Randall Veterinary Clinic!!

Took my 2yo cat to Randall's after he injured a paw. This was my first visit - we've recently moved and the old vet was much farther away, plus my cat was bleeding. Randall's is less than 4 miles away. I called first and was given an appointment 15 minutes later. It was a quick and good visit. "Frissy" was frightened but the vet and his helper handled her so gently that she stopped crying. All the staff was courteous and helpful. The cost was modest and they set him up for a return visit.

My dog got hit by a car Saturday mid-morning, and my vet did not have a Dr. in clinic that day, so I called Randall’s to see if they could see my dog. They told me they didn’t have time for emergencies and to go to the Animal ER on Lakeland. My sister, who has a dog, goes to Randall’s and said she would go with me and maybe they’ll take my dog. So we did, they got him in to see him and got x-rays on his leg and the Dr. came and showed me an AP or (DP) view of his right wrist and told me it was fractured and needed surgery. They splinted him and prescribed some pain meds and an antibiotic for over the weekend til he can have surgery. Monday comes around and I call to get the X-rays sent to my vet, whom I know personally from keeping his kids, as well as, him being my dogs vet for over 6 years. Between me and the receptionist at my vets clinic called 7 TIMES, to simply get those X-rays emailed over so he could give me his opinion. The people at Randall's just kept saying, “they were too busy,” finally Tuesday at 12:40 PM, they finally emailed over an X-ray (LATERAL) view and it showed a radial compact fracture. I told my vet that they didn’t show me that xray. They showed me an AP of his wrist, not his arm. So I call back 3 more times to get all the X-rays sent to my vet, and Randall’s calls me and explains they only did a lateral view. I argued that they showed me an AP, keep in mind, I work in radiology and see X-rays every day, so I know exactly what I’m looking at. He tells me that they don’t do “AP” views, they do “DP”. THEY ARE THE SAME THING, JUST TERMED DIFFERENTLY! He told me that I need put aside from what I think I know because what they do is different! Completely rude and untrue because it’s not! If they only take lateral views, they aren’t getting a true assessment of all the leg bones because the radius overlies the ulna, the metacarpals overlie each other, as well as the Carpal bones. So how could they possibly tell me what is broken and not broken from just one view?? THEY CANT! After hours of frustration and just wanting my dog taken care of my vet offers to shoot his own X-rays. The wrist that Randall’s told me was broke...was not broken. The break in his arm, DID NOT need surgery, just needed splinted and off of it for 6-8weeks. Also, Randalls did not clean the road rash and wounds before splinting so now my dog has a necrotic spot on his elbow starting to form, which my vet has cleaned and treated!!! If it were not for me wanting my vet to look at this X-rays, I would have paid $1,200 for a surgery my dog did NOT need! It basically boils down to Randall’s showing me a different dogs X-ray and being unethical about the whole situation! If I had proof besides me and my sisters word, I would sue this animal hospital for the unethical violations, and illegally offering a service UNNECESSARY!! I will never go back to this place and I hope everyone reads this and finds a good honest vet! I recommend Byram Animal Hospital or Forest Hill Animal Hospital!! I will forever be greatful for Dr. Mitchell taking time to help me and my dog! BTW...I didn’t even wanna rate them one star but I had to select one to post...
