I will start with saying I have nothing against Dr. Carney as we are new to the area and we had our pup vaccinated here. He was very down to earth and made me feel like Nellie was in good hands. However, she had her first grooming appointment yesterday and this is my reasoning behind the negative review. I drop Nellie off a little before 8am and let them know this is her first grooming session so to take it easy on her. Meaning I didn’t want anything fancy just simply wanted to get her accustomed to being groomed. The girl took her back and said she’d call when she was done. Six hours went by and I still hadn’t received a call so I called in to check up and they said it would be ‘at least’ another hour and would call as soon as she was ready. Two hours pass by so I decide to run in and check on her since I was hanging around the area and the girl at the front desk takes her name and tries looking for her... after about 5 minutes of questioning if they even had a Nellie back there they finally bring her out to me. So for obvious reasons I have a couple questions. How long was she sitting back there ready to go home and why did it take over 8 hours to groom a 10 lb 14 week old puppy? The first response I got was ‘oh it wasn’t long the groomer left 30 mins ago’ and then I questioned if she was kenneled all day prior to grooming and the response I got was ‘well....she was out.’ Whatever that means. To me this is insane. The girl said she thought I said ‘I was going to pick her up in an hour’ when she tells me she’ll call when she’s ready — then can’t even find my dog? The two girls at the front desk could care less about my concerns they just wanted to get out of there. Also what is aggravating is me bringing to the attention we have a first time puppy coming in to your office to get groomed — so why not prioritize her as one of the first ones to get groomed so she could be out of there at a decent time as we are still potty training? Sorry but the grooming schedule and the girls (at the time) working the front desk need some work. I can’t speak for them all because I do know the ladies who handled everything during her check ups were great. I hope y’all see some improvement in the future.

Happened to stumble upon this place because Petco messed up one too many times. We have been using them regularly for about a year now and the service is solid. The veterinarian gives his cell phone number out, and HE actually answers by it. I could go on, because the service here is excellent!

THIS IS THE BEST VET HOSPITAL IN TOWN! From visiting Dr. Cobb with my husky who has had a skin problem for a while and being able to DIAGNOSE him within MINUTES of examining him ( WHOOP WHOOP y'all! answered prayer) to an emergency vet visit for my pregnant dachshund where not only 1 vet showed up, BUT TWO! They cared that much! They both made me feel like family and that they cared about my little girl! They went ABOVE AND BEYOND like they always do! THANK YOU DR. CHIP CARNEY & DR. COBB! YOU GUYS DESERVE MORE THAN JUST 5 STARS!
