Very odd that they will not exam your pet in front of you. If anyone knows how my pet is going to act, it's me, so just not a policy that makes sense to me. The exam fee was also very expensive compared to other vets in the area - especially for an exam that you don't get to watch.

Lucy and Katie were well taken care of at this clinic. They lived long good lives and Dr. Diffey was very good with helping us part with them when it was time. Our newest pet is Abbie. We have a paw plan on her. We love this clinic and its staff.

We have been taking our fur babbies to Northwest Rankin Animal Clinic for close to four years. The staff and Dr. Diffey have treated us and our pets with not only care, but also love. Dr. Diffey has been with us during the times when our pets were ill and explained the way forward to get them better. We always have been treated as a person and a pet lover, not just another customer. Top-notch people and a Top-notch place for your pet's care.

Kennel my dogs here fairly often, they always seem excited when I drop them off and well taken care of when I pick them up. Friendly staff that really seem like they enjoy the animals and care about them.

Thank you Dr. Diffey for trying to save our 12 year old cat Peanut. I know you did all you could. Thanks for sending us to the MSU Referral and Emergency Clinic. Unfortunately Peanut couldn't be saved because of his advanced cancer. I highly recommend Dr. Diffey and the entire staff at your clinic. Thank you from the bottom of our broken hearts. One day, the next kitty that adopts us will come to see you for a checkup.

DO NOT GO HERE! I had to wait over 30 minutes after my appointment time to see the doctor. There was no apology given for this. After I told the doctor the issues my dog was having, he then started to take my dog to the back for the exam. I asked him why he couldn't exam my dog in the EXAM room with me present. He told me this was his policy, that he didn't want to have to deal with the pet owners. He gave an example that if he handles the dog in the way the owner doesn't like, he doesn't want to have to listen to that! WHAT!!!??? I told the doctor that my dog was already very nervous being at a new vet's office and I wanted to be present for the exam. He told me NO! I asked him if he would hand over his small newborn baby to a pediatrician for the doctor to take his baby to the back room and examine the baby in private! Of course not! All I can say is he must have lots to hide about how he handles animals if he will not allow the pet guardian to be present! When I told him I was not comfortable with this he began behaving like a teenage, waving at me and telling me "bye, bye"! I am still in shock over this!

I really love to bring my Fur Baby to Northwest Rankin Animal Clinic. He has been coming to this location since he was 8wks old. The location itself is very convenient for me because it's less than 5 mins away from my house. The staff is amazing; they're very nice and helpful!
