I've had my share of large and small animals through the years. Dr. Peterman and Dr. Byrd are always willing to answer any question in depth, in an understandable way. From my diabetic cat, my dog with liver issues, a horse with ruptured intestines, and even the healthy critters, they treat each one as if it's the only patient in their care at the time. The techs are brilliant and are able to handle my not so well behaved critters like pros. The best customer service comes from the ladies who work with you to schedule and try to accommodate you in any way possible.

They treated my dog for an infection that, after months of treatment, had not cleared up much at all. They wanted to continue the same course of treatment - an antibiotic that wasn't working for her. Frustrated and several hundred (or maybe a few thousand?) dollars down, I went to another local vet, they did a culture, got her on the right antibiotic and she's doing pretty good.

Dr. Byrd is amazing. He is very thorough and explains everything he is doing to treat your animal. What impressed me most is he treats you like a friend, he make eye contact with you and answers questions you may have. My teenage daughter's horse was sick and he was sure to include her in the conversation. As far as my family is concerned he is the absolute best!
