We have used Madison Ridgeland Animal Hospital for a long time. Technicians/staff are always friendly and very helpful...Remember who we are every time we come in for a visit. Our schnauzer always looks happy and well taken care of after boarding visits. Owner/vet is always available for questions and help...and have found prices to be very reasonable (just had schnauzer fixed at the clinic). Would recommend clinic to any one looking for a vet to take good care of his/her animals! Have had several people we referred to clinic who have had nice things to say about staff and business!

They have taken care of our pup from the beginning (March). We did not know the previous owners. Ridge enjoyed staying with them for Memorial weekend! They even bathe him when he is boarded. It's a wonderful clinic with an amazing staff. These people care about every animal that comes through their door as if they were their own. We've been those incredibly annoying pet owners that have called with silly questions and Dr. J. Faulkner has been so patient with us. And don't forget Mrs. Angela - she's an absolute angel. We have seen several veterinarians over the years, they are our top favorite in the entire Jackson area. Also - we are both in school and find the cost much more affordable for boarding, shots, etc. in comparison to many of the vets around here. Top service for a great price. Couldn't ask for better!

I loved this place when the Garrison's owned it. I have been going there for over a decade. My parents have been going since I was a child. Dr. Garrison took great care of my pets and was not about getting the most money out of you. The new people however are not the same. Only about money. I will not be going back.

Bring your pet here if you want them to die painfully and expensively. We found a little puppy out by an old farmhouse. Couldn't have been more than two or three weeks old. We brought her there on the recommendation of a friend of the family for cheap rates and excellent care. And... well. They were wrong on both counts. They took care of a check up, shots, and flea/tick meds BUT. They didn’t tell us the results of that check up found her distemper positive (note: this is fatal for puppies this young.) Not but a week after we got her checked out, she started showing signs of sickness and an absest grew on one of her hind legs. We took her back and they said they were treating her, but really all they did was cut a hole in her leg and say they were draining it "as best they could" which amounted to different vets doing different things and NOT talking to one another. She stayed with them a week and every day we called to check on her it was "She should be well enough to come home by the evening!" In the morning and "Well... we really should keep her another night" in the evening. A WEEK of this. When they finally called us in that Friday she looked dead and they couldn't even tell us anything other than "The infection won't go away. I guess put her down?" We didn't accept that. We took her to an emergency vet center who told us straight out that it was probably distemper, from the notes they received from the first vet (again, we never heard that diagnosis from the first vet. At all.) but that she wasn't showing the normal symptoms of the disease. We chose to fight for her since we finally got people who actually instilled confidence in us. She still died before the end of the weekend, but she was clean and on the uptick right before the end. She looked better dead than she did alive at Madison Ridgeland Animal Hospital. The worst part of all of this? The first Vets were right, but their communication skills made us doubt their abilities everyou step of the way. They didn't tell us about the positive distemper check and their "care" of that absest was horrific. They might be able to handle giving your pet shots and flea meds, but if they're really sick? Take them literally anywhere else. OH. And they support rodeos. Literally one of the biggest red flags possible that they don't actually care about the lives of animals. One of my other roommates took the puppy in initially and didn't notice the pictures, but the moment me and my two other roommates stepped in and saw the many MANY pictures of animals being abused at rodeos, we knew these people were terrible. Do not trust them with your animals.

My brother used to take his pets here to board them. Gat really sick I didn’t know where else to go except there and they took excellent care of my cat. He was Sick for a while and they helped us in every way possible. We also had a cat you had to have a leg amputated and we took him there and they did such a good job that that cat is running iand darting and all over the place and we cannot even catch the cat because she’s so fast. I would tell all my friends to go to the Madison Ridgeland Animal Hospital!

Under New Management and Doctors. I can't speak about the previous owners as our 4-legged friend came to us at Christmas time, but the new ones are great! Dr. Faulkner even came to speak to my Cub Scout Pack about pet care. The staff has also been very friendly and easy to work with. The online appointment system is great and very convenient. They have all the necessary heart and flea meds and can take care of almost any animal. I haven't needed the boarding, but the price was great and according to a friend their dog loves it there. We followed a recommendation and so should you!

Drs Faulkners are genuinely concerned vets who realize the importance of triage, and exceptions for emergencies, are more important than and steady work flow. Its obvious they care more about the animal's health n wellbeing, than the distant-cold-stuffily professional- and dispassionate office practices near-by. A real FAMILY atmosphere!!! And their pharmacy not only is vast but they go out of their way to save their client's money to save their patient's life.
