My spouse and I had just transferred to Keesler AFB, rescued a little kitten and called the GP Vet Clinic at 1600. The receptionist told us they were closed and to bring the kitten in the next day if it survived the night. I told the receptionist I needed to talk to a Vet Tech; resulting in him instructing me that they we about to close," don't feed or give the kitten any water and if it survived to bring it in the next morning." When I informed them that the clinic's website states that the clinic was open from 0830 to 1730(5:30pm), he told me that the site did not have those hours posted and that they stopped seeing animals at 1530(3:30). I pleaded for so assistance because it was not right to make this kitten suffer or just see if it died. I asked for somewhere we could go for help, he sent us 20 minutes away, eventhough there was an Emergency Animal Hospital closer to their location. As of this evening, the website still list hours of operation: Monday-Friday: 0830 to 5:30pm Saturday: 0830 to 1130 Sunday: Closed No compassion, rude, and misrepresenting hours of operation. I am a disabled veteran with 2 service animals and my husband is retired disabled veteran with a service animal, we will never go there or even recommend this office. I hope that the Veterinarian and upper management knows how the office is run on Friday afternoons 1600(4:00).

Nicest practice I've ever used. Never try to up-sell me, always tell me up front costs, worked with me when my cat had emergency treatment. And very compassionate when one of my older cats died. It's mostly walk-ins, so you don't have to pray for an opening, and though this sometimes mean you wait for a while-anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of hours on a high traffic day, if you are in the door by 3:30, they do their best to take care of you.

Took my cat in at 8:40 am. There were 3-4 pets ahead of me, so I knew it would be at least an hour or so wait.. so I waited...and waited...and waited. At 10:35 they finally called me back. Tech weighed my cat, asked a few questions and exited the tiny room. I waited and waited and waited....finally, the Dr. came in, looked at my cat briefly and we discussed her treatment. A steroid shot would be all she'd need. I told her I'd been there two hours and was in a hurry. (Had to get to work). Vet left the room, and once again I was left waiting...and more waiting...and then I waited some more. I heard someone talking in the waiting room and by this time, decided I had to just leave. I loaded my cat back in her kennel opened the door to the waiting room and standing behind the counter with her arms resting on the countertop, just shooting the bull with other pet parents who were also waiting. I told her I couldn't wait anymore, that I was gonna have to leave. I walked out the door to get to my car and as I was loading my cat into the car, the tech came out with two syringes in her hand. I told her I couldn't wait any longer, I had to go open my business. THEN, she said..'well there's a $30 office visit fee'... Yeah! The nerve! I got in my car and left and will choose to drive 30 miles to my old vet over this unconcerned place! I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS VET AGAIN!

They treat your pet as if it was there own.. even if there price is higher on some products, they will let you know where to get it to save you on cost

I have had my fair share of vet clinics but this one tops them all. My dog Lucy was 19yrs old. We took her there for her last 15 years. The clinic helped us take care of her and when she needed immediate surgery, they didn't demand everything up front. They allowed me to pay $50- 75 every two weeks...whatever I could afford. They were amazing! There products are very affordable and most of all...they cared about the health and well being of our family member, not just making money. They are an amazing family oriented and caring place. I don't see myself going anywhere else. Thank You !!!

Wonderful staff, very loving towards the animals. Very busy clinic because of the low cost for services they are slammed daily yet they have a smile for you no matter what. As to that stupid girl that got mad that they gave her cat shots, sounds to me like she would have gotten pissed if if they didn't, what a stupid Bi--- Gabi is to complain that they made a simple mistake. I wish every place was as good as this one. I am in heaven when I go there because I can not afford a lot in life yet they are manageable.

The Very Best and most reasonable price Vet in the area. Trim your dogs nails for FREE and you can take them just for that too. The people working there are GREAT. This place is VERY BUSY. Doesn't make appt. Walk in only and closed from 11:30- 1:30 (I believe) Daily. Cost of dog food like z/d hills science diet still same here $$$ but like office visit is 25.00. Be prepared to wait but if you have a big dog like me we wait in the car and Josh will come get you or get there early but still be prepared to wait and don't forget to sign in they go by that list even to pick up food but call ahead and they will have it up front for you to pick up they are good people.

Brought our kitten in to see the doc bc she had drainage and puss in her eye from the weather and pollen changes... got a shot and some meds and we were good to go after that. 30 minute visit vs potential further infection I would say well worth the $60 for everything!!

Very helpful and inexpensive vet! My has been having issues with UTI's, they got me in fairly quickly, was told Monday and Friday are their busiest days, but I was still seen in a timely manner, think I waited 30 minutes as a walk in customer. Will go back if more issues arise!

I went to get my cat checked up and they didn't tell me what they were doing with her. I didn't ask for them to give her any shots. I simply said that my cat is possibly in heat and would like to know if she is fine. Never talked about what shots they were giving her, never talked about payment. I told the lady that I had no money to pay right now and she took my cat from me. They gave her a rabies shot and something else. Most of the employees are rude. There's only 2 people who were nice to me. I will never return to this vet. Very unprofessional. Waste of my time and money too.

Took my amazon parrot there, everything was great. Went to pick her up at 4 30pm and they called me 2 times and kept there door open till 530pm and even clipped her nails :) and gave her meds. They were very understanding with her issues. And even said she might have arthritis in her legs...beings how old she is. But they were great :)

usually very busy.. best to make appointment.. maybe be 15 mins just to pickup products.. must sign in for anything.. an wait your turn.. staff is nice and vetranarin /owner is best on the coast.. but he is semi-retired now.. so he has new vetranarin that I have only heard good things about... the other vetranarin that has been there for many years is now at the Biloxi location only... small waiting room.. but good prices and service make up the difference... would be better if they expanded to include the rest of the whole building.. but that's probably what keeps cost down.. as with any vetranarin it's up to each individual as to go there or to another one.. but this one is very central located.. an easy to find... I've personally used this clinic for 20 plus years... even though I have taken other people's animals to other vet's, one very close by.. an one in long Beach.. overall most people are returning customers like myself. hope this review is helpful for you and your furry family members.. best of luck with your family pets... plus remember to be responsible for your pets and keep them safe

I was referred here by a friend and was not disappointed. The techs/ vet were very friendly but got things done in a timely manner. The staff just want what's best for your animal and are understanding of budgets. You dont pay a visit fee, just for vaccines/ medications/ procedures. Only downside is that they are now only walk in, so waiting in a tiny room can get hectic, but you cant complain for the service. If the telephone line is busy, wait and call back. Thank you for helping my fur baby!

Because their prices are so cheap, they have way more customers than they have time for. They don't take appointments, it's only walk-in. You can wait for hours to be seen. We recently boarded 2 dogs and a cat. I spoke with them on the phone twice to ensure we were good to drop them off for boarding but when I dropped them off, they weren't on the schedule. I mentioned several times that my cat had tubes on his hip where he had an abscess draining so it needed to be removed in a few days. The lady still asked why the cat had a cone on his head. While on our vacation, I called to check up on the animals. The lady only told me that they were doing good. I asked if the tubes in the cat had been removed and she said she would have to ask the doctor to find out. This is far from the worst of our experience. When we went to pick up our pets, one dog was absolutely covered in feces and had a horrible skin infection where his harness was rubbing against his neck. His skin in his armpits were red and irritated as well. The cat had cobwebs all over his fur. We had to give the cat a bath and the water was yellow running off his body. Our third pet, another dog. They said had not eaten the entire time there. She pooped as soon as we got home and it was complete liquid everywhere in the yard. Not only were the animals not cared for at all, I had to keep remind me ng them that we had 3 pets there that we were picking up. The prices are crazy low to help with those who struggle paying vet expenses but if you care about your pets at all, DO NOT BOARD THEM HERE. THEY WILL BE NEGLECTED

I do not recommend this place for long term boarding of your animals if they need alot of space. They will be kept confined in their cages most of the time unless they take them outside to walk, stretch and go potty. I thought the price was fair and I think they tried their best to accommodate my two large dogs, but one of my dogs had rashes and sore spots on him and he was very sore and sensitive for a few days. He also had a stomach bug, they say from stress, and he was pooping diarrheah with blood in the stool for two or three days. So they charged me $50 more for prescription pills to take care of his diarrheah. I guess that was from having to stay in the cage so much. So, it's not a good choice to take your large dogs, especially for extended period of time -- in my case it was two weeks. Bad decision on my part. I will love them credit though, they allowed my dogs to stretch out and lie down in the storage room sometimes. Thank you for doing that. The one major problem I had though was how unsanitary the back door entrance was where they directed me to take my truck so I could pick up my two dogs. I drove around back and there were dozens of piles of dog poop on the asphalt where I had to park and get out and walk up to the back door. I stepped in a couple of piles of dog poop. I do not know how much of that dog poop was getting brought back into the kennel area, but I cannot imagine it being that sanitary or healthy for the dogs, or possibly the staff. They should hose down the asphalt out back every day once or twice a day or as often as necessary. I know the dogs got to do their business, and I know there is not much grass outside, but if you run a business there, I think it is incumbent upon the business owners to ensure it is free of excess dog poop.

I’ve always really liked Dr Geotes. Now that he’s retiring, we’ve seen the other doctors there. We are treated well and they are very caring. Very reasonable on office visit and med costs. And will work with you on post dated payments in emergency situations. *they have boarding-if you’re ok with your pets being kenneled (I’m personally fine with it) I do miss Dr Geotes though!

I have used this vet for 11 years. They are always wonderful with my animals cats & dogs. Someone shot my car and shattered his hip my kitty is now 11 years old and still going strong.
