Our Saint Bernard developed bone cancer in his front left leg. Dr. Pearson was thorough and let us know what to expect and what options we had. We made the decision to fight the cancer and amputate the leg. Dr. Pearson performed the surgery and did an excellent job. We knew, as an older giant breed, he would have challenges, and there were. Through it all, Dr. Pearson, Dr. McCoy and the staff were right there with us. They would call us regularly to check on him and, when we called, they always made time for us. Dr. McCoy came out to our home to help during a particularly difficult time. Both vets always took time to listen and provide helpful counseling and taught us many techniques of care that we did not know. The cancer did eventually return and our big fellow passed on, but he did so peacefully after enjoying a high quality of life. The true measure of a vet is how they go through very challenging times with you, and we cannot recommend Dr. Pearson, Dr. McCoy and the staff of Escatawpa Animal Clinic highly enough!

They are all great here. Took my dog in this morning due to him being in pain all night. Worked him in and Dr McCoy probably spent a good hour on him between x-rays, walking him around out back to try and diagnose problem, palpitating etc. We've used this vet for probably 8 years now and always fair and professional. Highly recommended.

I took my dog to the vet today at Roberts Animal Clinic in Moss Point this morning. Dr. Roberts was booked so I called Escatawpa Animal Clinic to get my dog a rabies vaccination and have Hank’s nails clipped. The girl at the desk said it would be fifteen dollars and told me to come on up, which I did. There was only one other person there at the Escatawpa Clinic. After waiting about 45 minutes, they called me back, the young girl and I talked a minute with the rabies vaccination lying on the table and after 25-30 minutes, she left and took my dog with her. My normal vet, Dr. Roberts, administers shots in the room, but the people there didn’t and I honestly don’t know if Hank was given his vaccination or not and nobody mentioned that the vaccine was ever administered. When she came back, she was ready to let me go and I asked about the nails getting clipped. She said “oh yeah, sorry”...and took him back out. To make a long story short, for a $15 rabies shot and a $10 nail clipping, I mentioned to the doctor if he could put some drops in Hank’s ears for ear mites and instead, he spent 25 minutes on cleaning Hank’s ears, and it was extremely rough. Hank screamed out three different times and I’ve never seen a vet so rough with an animal. Hank was hurting and the more the doctor shoved Hank’s head into the table, the more mad I got. So, I was so very thankful when it was over. Hank was in distress and scared. We walked out of the room to pay for the services and this is what I received: Exam (Unscheduled) $50 / Rabies $15 / Ear Cleaning $15 / Ivermectin .10 / Nail Trim $10 / Tresaderm Solution $23.75 for a total of $113.85 When all I asked for was a Rabies shot, nail clip and two drops in Hank’s ears...I’ve used both Escatawpa Animal Clinic and Roberts Animal Clinic in Moss Point and as a 34 year professional in our community, I’ve learned who has a real heart for the animals, the families that bring their animals there and the doctors who should treat those animals because they feel too. With the treatment today and the high bill for doing very little, I know exactly who to trust!

I have always had a great experience with the veterinarians and staff at this clinic. They are very kind and caring towards my dogs and horses. Several times they have gone above and beyond to help my pets. My fur babies have always gotten great quality care and star treatment here. I have nothing negative to say but there are many positives. I've had to send them a message before due to a sick pet when the office was closed and I got back a very timely response. Dr McCoy and Dr Longo and each one of the staff members are excellent to work with and treat my fur babies like they are their own. I have used this office and Dr McCoy since 1988 and I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else. Dr McCoy is the most kind hearted veterinarian I have ever had the pleasure to know. If you want a place where someone truly cares for your pets then you should go to Escatawpa Animal Clinic.

I'M JUST GOING TO TELL YOU MY STORY, YOU DECIDE IF YOU WANT TO TAKE YOUR BELOVED FAMILY PET TO THIS OFFICE.. I TOOK MY SON'S DOG OF 15 YRS TO THIS PLACE, THE LADY VET BASICALLY SAID JUST A BUG BITE IN BUTT THAT MY DOG WAS NOT BLEEDING FROM INSIDE OUT BUT HE WAS AN BECAUSE OF IT HIS KIDNEYS FALL THAT NIGHT... TOOK HIM TO ANOTHER VET, WHICH THEN KNEW THERE WAS BLEEDING BUT WAS TO LATE... WE LOST A FAMILY MEMBER, MY SON AN THAT DOG LOVED ONE ANOTHER VERY MUCH THEY WERE THE BEST OF BUDDIES..SO NOW I HAVE TO TELL HIM IS BUDDY SINCE HE WAS 5 YRS OLD IS GONE.. SO IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET,THINK ABOUT THIS THEN DECIDE IF YOU TRUST THIS SO CALLED LADY VET. .AS FOR ME I WILL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER LOVED ONE THERE... FIRST DO NO HARM BUT SHE DID BY DOING NOTHING... I couldnt figure out how to take that star off this places deserve negative stars an to be closed ..not telling how many family members have died due to this vet.

Well my dogs were bored there 5 days so i went pick up i was charge for alot things wasnt even ask to do ...so my bill 387.00 that alot $,plus my furkids eere so hungry when they got home one my kids tail has very bad place on her tail was mot there when i bath her drop her off ok why vaccines my dogs..if it was law i understand but why do all this stufg dsy before they come home why wasnt it done first day of stay .wbem i call to check on them they very short with me ...so im not happy lady vome home find all this done..it done less 24 jours to due come home
