Stopped by office to purchase my dogs heart worm medicine. Was told they don't sell it anymore and staff started to tell me all the other stuff they did sell. I told her I was not a Vet and I only knew what the Vet had prescribed. She said she was sorry but they could not help me. The only reason I was buying the stuff from them at higher prices I might add was because I was just trying to give my pet what their Vet had ordered. She then said I could check back later if I wanted the Vet to write me a prescription. I told her I had already made a special trip there just to purchase the medicine and if I was going to have to make another trip it would be to a vet that could and would have what I need for my pet. Obviously these folks do not realize we the pet owners have choices. As for me, I was very disappointed with the attitude of the staff who I was dealing with so I will be shopping around for a vet who actually has folks working for them who at least try's to take care of customer needs.

Boarded my dog there for short trip 12/29 - 1/2. Told them I may return on the 12/31 to get my furry bro. When I call them on the morning of 12/31, they told me they that they closing at 12 noon. In told them I would be back in town at 3 PM that afternoon to get my dog. The girl on the phone told I could not get my dog that afternoon that I would have to wait until 1/2. I offered to pay over the phone and meet the person designated to feed the dogs at night so I can get my dog. She told me a flat no and it was no way I was going to get my dog till 1/2. My dog had to sit there for another two and a half days when he didn't have to. My vet would have somebody meet you there and you can get your pet anytime within reasonable hours. My dog look gaunt and taught when I got him home he drink water straight for 4 minutes he was so dehydrated. If Dogwood Animal hospital the last place on Earth to board my pet I would not be boarding. Heed my warning people.

These good folks have taken great care of our dog through normal check ups, dental cleanings and serious bouts of pancreatitis and skin allergies. Caring staff and vets, would def recommend!
