Took good care of my dog champ, they treat my pet as if its their own, extremely professional, dedicated and mature workers, my dog is 15 years old and has had surgery and is doing much better, I would recommend the clinic without hesitation.

Compassionate care. They were so kind while trying to determine what was causing my senior cat's sneezing and then eye swelling. Once they saw he needed more specialized care, they were quick to refer him to a specialist, talked with me about potential outcomes, and coordinated seeing the appointment with the specialist. Most unfortunately, a very aggressive cancer was the problem. They were so helpful helping me with my cat's pain medication. When he was obviously near the end, they hugged me while I cried as he was euthanized, and sympathized with me while I gave my final goodbye. My 1-in-a-million best cat was gone, but I was given his body in a special cardboard box, which I buried in my back yard. After a while, I got a package in the mail. It was from Desoto County Animal Clinic and was an impression of my kitty's front paws with his name. Honestly my kids were concerned about me because I've never gotten anything in the mail which had me immediately burst into racking sobs. But it really touched me that they sent me a memento of my sweet cat. Our cat was with us for 7.5 years after taking him from a family member. He had no back feet, but would choose to follow me, or my husband, around the house, staying in the same room as one of us. Although my cat which passed cannot be replaced or replicated ever, when we're ready to bring another pet into our lives, we'll probably bring him, her, or them to Desoto County Animal Clinic.

Dr. Frazier saved my Westies' life a year ago with a diagnosis that another local vet totally missed a couple days earlier that nearly cost her life. A year later, removed bladder stones from my girl. He went well above and beyond on both occasions to bring her back to health. I'm thrilled to see him opening an additional office on Getwell Road very close to my home. From my family, mostly my pets, thank you Dr. Frazier for your commitment to your profession!

Have been taking all 7 of our pets here for years ! Dr Billy Frazier is very very nice and knowledgable. Sometimes we have to wait a bit but it's worth it because both doctors spend as much time as needed with you to answer any and all questions. All of the staff is very kind , caring and knowledgeable as well. We've never had any 'extra' products pushed on us. They are great ! Don't go by the old reviews because several years back there was a different owner. Dr. Frazier and Dr. Sklar are top notch!

My dog recently had a severely broken leg and we needed a vet immediately. We found Dr. Frazier on Google and decided to contact him because of his reviews. Before my dog was even a patient, he agreed to review all of her x-rays online and give us an estimate for surgery, and he was the only vet that we contacted that was willing to do this for us. Dr. Frazier saw our dog immediately and did the surgery that day, even though it required him to stay later in the evening. Our experience here has been excellent, from the staff to the techs to the doctor. Everyone was very friendly and Dr. Frazier called me several times during and after the surgery to give me updates and check on my dog. Even though we live in Memphis, we are very happy to drive 20 minutes to this vet because of our experience here. You can tell he is not only passionate about what he does, but he is also just a very nice person who cares.

Made an appointment for a Saturday to have our new kitten checked out. As soon as I walked in I noticed there was animal hair ALL OVER the place. The floor was covered, every sitting area for humans was covered there was even animal hair floating in the air. The ladies at the front desk were very sweet. They did however, informed me that even though I had an appointment at 11 I still would not be seen until 12 or after. They told me Saturday was a walk-in clinic and they're not always sure how many animals they'll have. They gave me the option of dropping off my kitten and coming back at a later time to pick it up. I cancelled the appointment and left without my kitten being seen. I do understand that Saturdays are busy times however I made an appointment so that I would be able to get in and out because I had other stuff to do. I wish it would have been expressed to me that it's a walking day and I would have been waiting even with having made the appointment.

We have been going to the Clinic for 12 years and have always been satisfied. Our oldest Pom Gizmo was on his deathbed in March 2015 when Doctors Frazier and Sklar brought him back. At that time Doc Sklar told us that he would probably last about six months, but Gizmo defied all odds and although he was getting more frail continued along. While we were on vacation last week Gizmo took a turn for the worse, so my son in law took him in where the prognosis was bad. Instead of trying to make a buck on us with un-needed procedures and tests, Doc Frazier was VERY honest and up front and gave us options. We decided that Gizmo had been through enough so we allowed Doc Frazier to help him over the Rainbow Bridge. The love and compassion showed by Doc Frazier and his staff was above what anyone could expect. Even to the point that Doc Sklar called us to offer his condolences (he was in the process of moving to Colorado). WITHOUT and reservation I would recommend this Clinic to any and all pet owners!!!!

Having only lived here 6 weeks ago, we had not gotten a new vet yet. We had a very old dog (Ace) who had taken a turn for the worse and after much deliberation it was time to put him to sleep. I called and got worked in immediately. When I got there, the two girls from the front desk came out and carried Ace into the office, as he couldn't walk and weighed 70+ lbs. They brought the paperwork to me so that I could stay with Ace and even got a bottle of water for me. The vet came in and examined Ace and talked with me to make sure I understood what would be happening. They gave me plenty of time to say my goodbye. The vet came in and talked to both Ace and me as he was giving the shots. He was extremely caring and sensitive! He explained that they cremate the pet and spread their ashes in a garden, which was a great comfort to me. Everyone who i came across expressed their condolences to me. Then today, six days later, in the mail i got a sympathy card hand signed by everyone one in the practice along with a caster mold of Ace's paw print. I was so touched by the level of caring by everyone in the practice! We will definitely be taking our miniature pinscher there for all her medical needs. Thank you to everyone at the clinic for the respect and loving care they have shown to my family!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!

A friend recommended Dr. Fraizer so I decided that I would try it out even though I had to drive 30 minutes to get to the clinic. I had to wait a little longer than I expected but once he came into the room he spent time answering my questions and explaining everything. I didn't feel rushed at all. I think the extra time I waited was worth it for the care that my baby received. Thanks everyone for being so friendly and caring especially Dr. Fraizer. I will definitely be returning.

My favorite animal clinic in town. I've had one cat put to sleep there and they were very kind to me in that time. Another cat of mine had an amputation and they gave her the best care. I've had animals fixed there and vaccinated there and more. Always helpful and kind service. They may be more expensive but they're worth it. Bianca has fully recovered from her spaying!

We've had really good experiences here. We've had to put two of our pets to sleep over the years and the staff and vet were caring and very sympathetic. It's something you never want to do and it's a very hard decision. Vet and staff were helpful, thoughtful, let us know what to expect and gave us plenty of time to say goodbye. The plaque we received in the mail later that week was a very nice touch. This was our first choice for places to take our pets for care. If we ever decide to have pets in the future this is where we will take them.

I challenge you to find a better veterinary clinic! This vet team is so good, I drive about 20 miles, one way to get my dogs care. Dr. Frazier and Dr. Sklar, along with every staff member, are excellent at what they do. They have an after hours emergency line that will get you in touch with one of the doctors at any time. I have needed to call that number one time unfortunately. I received a return call from Dr. Frazier within 5 minutes or so. Once we got to the clinic Dr. Frazier did everything he could to save my Boxer who was already battling heart disease, which is common in that breed. We were by Chopper's (my boxer) side during his last hour(s) and Dr. Frazier could not have been more dedicated and compassionate in those final, hard times. He is currently treating my oldest boxer as well. I can not tell you how much they care, and how intelligent these doctors truly are; you must experience their level of care for yourself to understand. Hopefully you will only need them for routine check ups, but if an emergency arises, this is the place to go. I have read some reviews that are old which talk about the clinic pushing services on you. First of all, they don't aggressively push anything on you. They offer you the options available, and you decide if you want to spend the money. Its no different than going to a fast food drive through and them asking you if you want to "Up size" your meal. They don't force anything, they simply present you with options. Just tell the doctors that you are not interested, or you can't afford the extra options, and they will kindly oblige. Also, the older reviews are from a time when a different doctor was in charge of the operation and ownership of that clinic. Now that Doctor Frazier owns the clinic, all of the stuff that was not popular among these reviews have since changed. I would recommend this clinic to anyone needing veterinary care. One last recommendation; call ahead and get an appointment because the doctors actually spend time with their patients and clients. Its not like going to other doctors where they spend minutes talking with you about the care and send you home with little information. You absolutely get their undivided attention every time you visit. There will be times when there is an emergency and you may have to wait a bit longer, but if it were your dog/cat/etc.. needing the urgent care would you want them to focus on keeping you pet alive, even if that means others may need to wait 15 minutes longer? I know I would. I hope my review helps to guide you to the correct vet so you get the care you and your pet deserve. Have a good day! Love on your pets, because they are gifts to mankind! I love this vet office. They did an amazing job on my dog. My dog became temporarily paralyzed and with lot of physical therapy, medication and care they helped my dog walk be able to walk again ! I’m so thankful for the doctors here ! I don’t know if my dog would be with me today if it wasn’t for these amazing doctors!!
