Will never step foot in there again. Would give 0 stars if I could. Took my dog 3 times in 1 month because my 8lb dog had lost 2lbs in one month & became very lethargic and didn't want to eat. They insisted it was a food allergy & I just needed to give her "tough love" to make her eat the new food. Had to take her to the emergency clinic that night, where her white blood cells were 240,000. (Normal is 10k-17k). She passed from Histoplasmosis being spread through her entire body, all organs, a couple days later. Had they done blood work when I initially tried to take her in, instead of trying to act like I didn't know my own dog, she could've gotten treatment & potentially saved her life.

Recently there with my sister-in-law for her dog which is her service dog. She recently moved here and her wasn't feeling well. The Vet took this time to explain the situation with my Sister-in-law. She had gotten a very serious issue with the dogs heart and this Vet explained in laymen terms so she could understand just what was wrong and gave the dog and much less serious diagnosis. To my Sister in laws relief she will go back to County Seas Animal Hospital again with her fur-babies health issues. I have been there with one of my cats who was seriously ill and he had to go over the rainbow bridge. The vet was very caring and gentle with the situation. I will always use County Seat Animal Hospital for all my fur-babies too.

Dr. Brent and his staff are by far the most helpful and courteous, and caring people. Dr.Brent is NOT in this field of work for the money. He truly does love animals! He will go past the extra mile to do everything in his power, and knowledge to help your furry loved ones! He fully understands that your animal is a family member... my mastiff pit mix became extremely ill and Dr. Brent did everything to save my 8month old puppy from passing...but sadly, my Nora passed from a mushroom she ate in the yard... Dr. Brent came to work even when his office was closed, so I could bury Nora... he never asked for a single penny during the 2 days she was there. instead, Dr.Brent and his staff made a generous donation in Nora’s name to Mississippi State animal health research facilities Dr. Brent is NOT in it for money. He has been (and still is) a huge role in the life of me and my dogs.. God fearing, and humble. Feel like family when you walk in the doors! Thank you for all y’all do! Proverbs 12:10

I wish I could give Dr. Pattberg and his staff 10 stars! My family has been bringing our babies to County Seat for as long as I can remember. The Doc has seen us through many pets over the years from exotics to mutts and everything in between. Dr. Pattberg has been joyous for me with every new animal and has wiped my tears and held my hands when they passed away. As long as the doors are open, County Seat will have my business!

Dr. Pattberg has been my dogs' vet for over 20 years. He loves the animals that come into his office and does his best to treat them. When it was my dogs' time, he and his vet tech were very compassionate. As other reviewers have said, he's not just in it for the money. I highly recommend Dr. Pattberg and County Seat Animal Hospital.

My husband and I were traveling on vacation with our 9 yr. old Yorkie. She became very sick and my husband went to google to find a local veterinarian. He found “The County Seat Animal Hospital “ approximately 25 miles away from where we were staying. Based on all the positive reviews, we made the decision to take our Yorkie there for treatment. Dr. Brent Pattberg and his staff were not only very professional, but very friendly, kind, and caring. Dr. Pattberg examined her, did some tests, gave her a shot, a prescription, and special dog food all for a very reasonable price. He took the time to explain his diagnosis and the treatment he recommended. It was very comforting to know we had excellent care for our “ fur baby” and that we were not taken advantage of simply because we were traveling and from out of town. This man truly does serve with honor and integrity as all the previous reviews have stated. If we lived in Hernando, Mississippi, Dr.Pattberg would definitely be our veterinarian. My 1yr old cat died only a day after recieving him back from this office . i spent $300 he went in for dhydration and urine crystals they put a cath in him and asked if i wanted him nuetered i figure sure bc why would the vet i trust reccommend something even slightest bit unsafe ... He stayed with him a couple of days i was told he was eating drinking and urinating on his own ..except when i got him back on a thursday he was significantly skinnier than when i dropped him off and just looked unhealthy and sickly all together he passed a way the following saturday afternoon while i was at work. I had bottle fed him since he was 5wks old and this aches my heart even weeks later and infuriates me that the people i trusted with the well being of my pet caused the results of his death. I will never make that mistake again. Be careful who you trust.. Update : months later the vetinary board sent me a letter saying a donation was made in honor of phoniex and asked me to make a donation in the same letter!
