My dog recently spent 8 days there hospitalized from ingesting a foreign body. We saw Dr. Joe initially, and then Dr. Christy took over her case. They are both very compassionate vets. Dr. Christy saved my dog's life. She and all the techs took great care of my dog while I was there. The girls at the front were always willing to help when I called to check on her. I won't take my animals anywhere else. I saw someone mention that wait times can be very long. This can be true at times because they are a very popular vet in the area, and they do not rush through their appointments. They are all very willing to answer any questions. Personally, I'd rather wait a bit longer than be rushed through an appointment.

I recently visited this Veterinary Clinic about three weeks ago. I came in with my dog, Tulip. We had hands down the best experience I have ever had a veterinary clinic. The front desk ladies were so sweet and helpful, the ladies that gave shots were also very sweet. Dr. Young saw us, and was a phenomenal Vet!

My sister uses this clinic for all of her animals and I have had the privilege to accompany her on her visits. Each time everyone has been very kind and professional towards my sister, myself, and the animals. They have gotten us in as quickly as possible, have been extremely gentle with the animals, very informative with us, have always figured out the problem and have been extremely reasonable on prices. The staff here cares for their customer's and the pets they see, and are more concerned with the animals' wellbeing than monetary gain. My sister loves this clinic, the animals love this clinic, and I love this clinic. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that has pets they care for.

Today is the 1st day I have ever walked in. I'm only giving 3 stars right now because my dog is still there she is being fixed. I just wanted to compliment the staff. I am not sure the older lady's name That works up front but she is so adorable and so sweet. The prices for things are a little high there are other clinics that are cheaper. However I don't care about the prices all I care is about the service that they give my dog and myself. If all goes well with my dog and it better. I will be sure to take my puppy to them and make this our permanent Veterinarian. I have tried other that's around here and have not been happy. After I pick up my Bones Dog I will do another review. UPDATE: I will not trust anyone else to handle my puppers other than Cat and Cow!! The staff is AMAZING. I got a call back from the dr checking on Bones after her surgery. Best Vet ever!!!!

Heard nothing but good things and I highly recommend. My girlfriend has been going there for years and we love the staff and animals that live there (especially Jimmy) I know of Mr Barker (previous review) from a personal friend that worked at an Animal hospital in Tate county (which my sister uses) and I heard how he was VERY difficult if not impossible to satisfy. Sadly he is one of the reasons she no longer works there.

We heard a lot of good things about Cat and Cow and decided to give them a chance. Our first visit was not the best, but the owner called and apologized for our experience. He was genuine and I was grateful that he took the time out to call. I hope the next visit will reflect what I’ve heard from neighbors and friends. Update: I have been back to have my dog groomed several times since my visit. I am really pleased with the service that my dog has received. The groomer is excellent and I will continue to visit Cat and Cow.

Make sure you ask questions when you get a quote. My quote was about $30, but by the end of the visit it was $240. I went for a heartworm test to get a prescription to buy medicine offline. They didn't tell me they were automatically going to give a shot that's lasts 6 months after the test. Also, the same person that ordered my heartworm test, sold me the monthly pill the Friday before. So, I wasted $50, then got hit with a $240. She even remembered when I told her, but said there wasn't anything they could do now. I paid the money, but it was not a pleasant visit.

The people here are nice and we have always been treated well, but if they have a "meeting" going on, they don't have someone to take calls. What are you gonna do in an emergency, and your animal dies because they are having a "meeting"

We boarded both our dogs here for a week here after it being recommended to us. A 4 yrs old and 12 yrs old American bulldogs. The 4 yrs old female came home so aggressive she tried biting multiple family members and was very nervous for a week after. My older dog, a saint in temperament, came back with a huge knot on his back and has now suffered from major debilitating pain since that day. He had arthritis to begin with but had 1 flair up prior to his board here. Now he can't walk without medication and is almost a vegetable because of the pain. I'm so mad but obviously my accusations will never be met with admission of guilt - so no point in even talking to them. Breaks my heart everyday to see my old friend in such pain. En route to another clinic now to see if he had damage done to his bone.... update: cat and cow reached out to me. And apologized for what happened. They've stated they have addressed the issue with the staff. I'm sure they are ultimately a good group with good intentions based on their long history of good reviews and I understand that you can't be around at all times to monitor what individual employees do. I hope the individual that did this finds a heart. But cat and cow overall, I'd have to retract some of my last statement and say they are good people in management and they at least care enough to follow up.

If you want to take your pet to a veterinarian clinic that has a staff that not only cares about your animal, but cares about you, I recommend the Cat and Cow Veterinary Clinic. I recently had to have my beloved pet of 12 years put to sleep. The staff was so courteous and understanding. They made me feel like I had been coming to see them for years instead of just the first time. I want to thank all of you guys for being so wonderful!!

The Staff was very Pleasant, especially the young lady who answered my phone call. The sign out front said "dogs are welcome too", so I asked if children were also. I don't think she was prepared for that question, but she passed the quiz. While out on a Sunday drive, my grandchildren and I seen this place from the road. We were instantly drawn to the country charm and wanted to see more. Up close. I was given permission to come have a look around, no appointment necessary, my favorite words. Loved it!! Great photo op, and now know where to take our 2 dogs and 1 cat if needed.

Even though we made an appointment it took almost an hour after the appointment time for them to get to us. However, the prices are great. Update: They must have had an emergency that day because every time I have taken my pets in since my initial visit has been a walk in and they have been prompt in seeing us. First off, the decor is amazing! Silly thing to comment on, but this place LOOKS awesome. Their staff is absolutely incredible. Never have I felt so welcome and my kitty was so very taken care of. The vet tech, Casey, was super awesome and Dr. Allen was phenomenal. If you need veterinary care, this is the place to go. And they weren't too expensive either. I've been to a lot of places that cost and arm and a leg, but Cat and Cow were reasonable.

Staff was extremely caring towards my older dogs. Due to moving around the country the last several years, we have had the boys at several vets. Cat and Cow was the best experience I've had when taking the boys for a check up. My older dog tends to be a bit grumpy when poke and prodded. The vet was very good at examining him and keeping his tail washing the entire time. 5 paws.

You walk in the door and it seems like they could care less if they came help you or not. I believe it's time for me to find a new place to take my babies. They did call to check on my dog a few days later and inquired why my experience was bad. I thought that was thoughtful.

I have a little miniature pincher. And I have used cat & cow clinic for the last nearly 3 years. The doctors and staff are all very caring and knowledgeable. You can tell by the atmosphere when you walk in the door how wonderful this clinic is. My mother and I moved from southeast Texas almost three years ago, and we have been bringing our Penni Sue to Cat & Cow ever since. My aunt has been using Cat & Cow for years and she is who told us where to bring Penni Sue. And I am so happy that we did. They spend as much time as needed with us. Appointments should take precedence over walk-ins. However when your the 1st, 2nd or 3rd through the door you're forced to see everyone go ahead of you. A seasoned office manager can read the situation and can possibly squeeze the walk-in in before the appointment if they choose. Esp. because the appointment individual wouldn't know either way... right??? Ever play Diner Dash? Anyway... awesome new hard benches, weigh your pet at the door and lets hollar back and forth in the lobby about age, weight and other profile information that should be done in a private room. At least they called after I left. Earned 2 stars instead of 1 because of it. Thanks for reading!

We had such a wonderful experience at Cat & Cow Veterinary Clinic. We did the February special for dental cleanings. Both dogs went in for cleaning and would be there for most of the day. Someone was kind enough to call me as soon as they got out of the cleaning to let me know everything went great and they were doing well. I even received pictures once they woke up. I was a nervous wreck to be away from my babies but Cat & Cow went the extra mile to put me at ease. I knew my babies were in great hands and now their breath doesn’t stink. Great service! Thank you guys so much!
