We have boarded our two dogs here only a few times and after this most recent time, I will never bring them there again. My wife called on a Saturday an hour before closing to say she was on her way and may be five minutes late and asked if they would wait for her. She got there THREE minutes late to see the employee's car pulling out. Along with costing us another night's stay, it cost us the time to go out there twice. I was blown away that someone would treat a client like this. That is horrible business and lazy and selfish to boot! If a place cares more about their employees getting MINUTES of overtime than they do about meeting a client's needs along with helping animals get home as soon as they can, I can't trust them with my dogs. Along with this awful experience, one of the first times we brought them here, my husky came back with a sizable gash on his muzzle. We thought it wasn't too bad so it's not a huge deal, just played a little rough with another dog. BUT after getting him back this most recent time, we saw some dirt on his snout and lips. After seeing how his demeanor has been abnormal since getting home, I took a closer look and tried to clean what I thought was dirt off his face only to see that it was dry blood on his snout and his lips were raw. Clearly evidence of more unattended foul play with another dog. He keeps licking his mouth and pawing at his nose and wincing when I touch his face. It kills me to see him this way! I am so beyond done with this place! The blatant lack of care for costumers, and the multiple instances with getting back an injured dog is what has caused me to write this review! I encourage anyone that has made it this far in the review to consider taking your animal to a hospital that cares, one that will keep your animals safe and cares about making their client's and clients' animals happy.

My pet's primary vet had closed shortly before my pet began suffering from a terminal illness. The Animal Health Center provided end of life care for my pet and treated us as if we are long-time customers. Everyone here was wonderful and I'll always be grateful to them for the care they provided our dog in her final months.

After living in different states and towns and using many animal clinics, I can say that Animal Health Center in Madison, MS is by far the best I've used anywhere. They are efficient, kind, and compassionate. The way they interact with the animals is to be commended. Their boarding services are also the best. Thanks to their entire team for taking good care of my Waylon and Layla.

The staff is very friendly and made the visit the easiest I've experienced! The vet was very good at making my dog comfortable and was very easy to talk to. I received a plastic card in the mail a few weeks later that shows all of my dog's shot information to carry in my wallet, which I am very excited about. To top it off, I am almost 100% sure that someone fixed a snag on my dogs sweater when they took her in the back. Seriously will not use any other vet in the area!

I had my dog spayed there and she came back in heat in six months, he didn't get all of her ovaries out therefore she will be coming in heat every 6 months.. Bad Choice!!

The staff and vets and everyone working here were all very friendly and professional. You can tell they really love animals and go out of their way to make them feel at ease. I had to wait about 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, but it wasn't a huge deal. Happens all the time with doctor's offices so I expected a wait. The visit with the veterinarian made up for it though!

Animal Health Center of Madison has been our vet center for 19 years. I've found the personnel to be very caring and interested in the health of my cats. Dr. Weatherly has been dealing with my cat, Stuart, for several months. Stuart has a rare disease, but Dr. Weatherly has been diligent in his treatment. He communicates well with us about Stuart's progress. I feel the doctor does research when necessary, and is practical in his suggestions. I'm glad we have Animal Health Center for our pets.

This animal health center is ridiculous because they wouldn't allow me to make an appointment to board my dog over the phone until I came in person and completed paperwork. Which doesn't make sense that I could fill out paperwork and bring current shot records when I actually boarded.

Dr. Priestess saw our new puppy who's only 6 weeks old after he was stung in the face by a wasp. We didn't have an appointment and they fit us in on a Saturday. He was all better by mid-day Sunday. We were very satisfied with the hospital's service and care and attention.
