I'm new to Grand Rapids and had never been to a veterinary clinic here before. Everyone was so friendly and nice, from making an appointment for my cat on short notice all the way through the examination. Excellent care! This will definitely be "our" clinic! : )

Brought my male yellow lab pup in and started a basic paw plan, (not knowing if I was going to breed him with a friends female) I chose to do the basic plan, while also asking if it would be possible to upgrade the plan to the comprehensive plan (neuter plan). The answer I received, in person, was "absolutely that will not be a problem!" Well with the neglect to inform me of how exactly that worked, I am now going to a different vet! In order to upgrade the plan from basic to the next plan higher, (Fyi, thee only difference between the two plans, one has neuter and the other does not) I would be forfeiting my $275 credit I've paid on the basic plan this far, and starting the new plan at $44 payments for ANOTHER 12 months. Due the math people.. basic plan is $357 I believe. So for another $550 I can get my pup neutered here even though I've already had all the shots given to him that are offered through either of the plans. RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!

I've had mixed experiences with His vet clinic. The front desk staff are always nice, as are the vets normally. The bad experiences have come from certain employee's dislike or bad experience with the Breed. This has been a similar experience by others who have the breed, or dogs with similar breed characteristics. They are overall a good vet Clinic, and as of now no plans to switch.

We had to put our pup down, raised from 8wks old and our companion for 12 years, these guys were very understanding and empathetic. Our dog could no longer walk, so without us even having to ask (we weren't much in a thinking state anyway), they offered us to park out back (for privacy) and the Dr. met us. He was tactful, soft spoken, and sincere. We choose to have our daughters present to say goodbye, and he did a very good job of explaining to them the procedure and reassuring them it was painless. In fact, I am writing this review because I so much so appreciated his professionalism yet warmth. It was $75 plus tax, and if you are faced with the decision to give your companion a peaceful transition, I recommend no other.

I have brought my hunting dogs here for 15 years and have always been satisfied. Last week I needed to bring a 3 day old calf in that was not doing well. The staff was flexible and prompt and saved the little guys life. Cost for the emergency visit was reasonable.
