If you are looking to be raked over the coals come bill time, then by all means pay these crooks a visit. It cost me over $1100.00 to learn that "we don't really know what is wrong with her, so we will just place her on some broad spectrum pills." But hey, their response was "at least she is still alive." Two separate visits, and they had no idea what was wrong, or if they were even helping her. I guess it is true, someone will profit from tragedy. Thank you for encouraging me to never send any business your way.

The staff is always polite and willing to help whenever possible. The vets provide infomation and put it into text for everyone to understand. They are a little spendy with somethings but it worth the extra bucks knowing my pets are in greart hands.

It was good service and very friendly. The only complaint really is that they don't have their parking lot wasn't plowed and I got stuck. This is also not the first time I got stuck in their parking lot cuz it wasn't plowed 2 days after the last snow storm.

They take great care of my jack russell, BeBe. Even after moving an hour away, we continue to go there for all of her medical care. I brought her there two weeks ago because she had thrown up twice. They did xrays and found the problem. It probably would've been very serious if gone untreated. I'm so glad that I brought her in and that they caught the problem in time. She means the world to me!

They are the nicest kindest staff- recently had to have a dog put to sleep and they made us a plaster cast of his paw print and allowed us to spend time with him and say put goodbyes. Overall this is a great vet office that explains everything so you understand and never pushes you into one decision or another.

I brought my daughter's cat Thackery Binx in with a fish hook in the leg, this place was very nice and got us in same day i called. Also answered any questions my daughter had They were NOT pushing us into anything and even told us to buy our food else where cheaper lol. Love this place and i love that they talked to my daughter about HER cat, and made my daughter feel important

We live in St. Paul and make the 45 minute drive to North Branch for our two dogs. Not only is the entire team extremely knowledgable, but their prices are really great (especially compared to vets in the cities). The attached photo says it all...when our pup was really sick, one of the techs brought in a blanket and water bowl for her while we waited for test results.

Doctor and staff were all great. Prices were also very reasonable. I brought my dog in for his allergies and they gave me a cost effective solution and didn't mess around trying to run tests or rack up a bill. I will definitely be back w my pets, I think I've found a place that will not take advantage and just give solutions based on you and your pets best interests. Very exciting.

I was taken back by the staffs lack of interest of even acknowledging our dog. Most animal places I go to people are friendly and greet our dog.The lady working at the front desk requested I go put my dog on the scale over by the wall. She then instructed me I was doing it wrong. (hello I dont work here!!). Rhe front desk lady came over and our dog went to sniff her and she moved away from him. I was informed after a 4 minute exam it would be 404.00 to treat him. When asking questions about the break down and what was necessary...... I was cut off. I was sent home with medications without clear instruction how and when to give them. My dog is still throwing up and was told if continues to come back. If you want to feel confused and unwelcomed this is the place for you.

Our dog Tobey was having some breathing issues, sounded like something was lodged in his throat. Dr. Kemplin took great care and ran tests and gave Tobey some medicine to clear things up. He followed up with us and checked in with us to make sure he was getting better. We knew he was in good hands. Thanks for all the care from your staff.

If you may want to check out a different Vet. After a Spay surgery here my Lab was never the same. Without going into the countless phone calls and a few trips back there, with no testing or additional x-rays, I had to end my dogs life because she had congestive heart failure not to mention other issues that I feel the doctors here could have discovered. She was only 5 1/2 years old. Its hard to lose your friend, very sad. The staff was great but the doctors, are not.

I was hesitant on getting my cat declawed, but it had to happen before he destroyed everything He was about 2 years old, and I looked up a few places to get it done, one of which was north branch vey. I got them done a few months ago, only the front two. The staff was very nice and helpful, gave me lots of tips, and morphine so that my cat is not in pain. Fast forward a few months my cat is doing great, they did a great job that I didn't get to use all the morphine they gave me, my cat was walking and climbing like normal, and no effects at all. I waited to write my review to make sure my cat went through full recovery, and i have to say after 5 days, my 2 year old cat was doing great. So thank you North Branch Vet, you guys are great at what you do.

I want to thank North Branch Veterinary Hospital for their incredible service to my cat Carl. Their prices always seemed fair, they told me the prices before performing work, and their staff was always knowledgeable and so loving to Carl. Unfortunately, Carl was run over and we took him in and and after an x-ray, decided we needed to put him down. Dr. Bailey has always been so wonderful. Today I got a condolences card from the staff and it honestly made me cry. Thank you for your incredible service to us and Carl. We can't express how much we appreciate it!

We had an urgent matter with our puppy new to the area we had no choice but to go there when I called about lunchtime the lady that answered the phone was like you know this would be an emergency visit like she was trying to say we really don't want this over our lunch break I told her I know it's an emergency she then stated let me talk to my vet really we got there and they seemed uncompassionate one vet tech said to another in front of us she had to go meet her parents for lunch or she would be eating alone ,I ask the vet if the puppy was going to be okay she said to me I don't have a magic wand in a snotty tone , on their Website they do emergencies but it seemed like we were interrupting their day I would not go there again we just need to find a vet in the northbranch area that are more compassionate and caring but in the situation we were in we had no choice

Very rude staff. I recently bought a new puppy and when I got her she was bitten by another dog and it got an infection from it, so I needed to get her in. My normal vet was booked soild. I had to bring her somewhere new. At that point I had only had her for a few days. I had made an appointment for her vaccination at my normal vet. When I brought her in i told them I had an appointment set up for her to get her shot at my normal vet but needed the infection looked at. When they brought her to the back room to look at the wound I overheard them talking about me not getting her vaccination done and how pit bulls need them more than any other dog and how irresponsible it was for me not to get her vaccinated. One vet tech even said "oh is this the puppy that's not vaccinated." I was so upset. It was like they didn't believe me. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS VET!! If I could give it no stars I would!!

Horrible doctor. Won't listen to you. Just wants to set your pet up for tests that results won't be available for a week. Refuses to do thorough physical evaluation first. My dog was hemorrhaging profusely from his mouth, couldn't stand up, and I just wanted her to look into his throat, listen to his heart and lungs. I expect him to die shortly and I need confirmation. I was turned away without pain meds for him, anti-inflammatory's, or even an option to end his suffering and put put down now. If he lasts out the weekend, I have another vet that will look at him and hopefully get him some help. Update: My dog lasted out the weekend...and is actually doing better. Took him to another vet who actually DID do a complete exam, and then prescribed antibiotics for the infection he is suffering from. NB veterinary is a glorified dog grooming service. Go elsewhere.

Very uncompassionate staff. Brought our Doberman in to be euthanized after he was suddenly struck with debilitating Wobblers Syndrome. Before coming to that decision, I asked if we could bring him in to get checked on, and I was told very curtly that the staff was on lunch break. My kids and I overheard one staff member saying to the Veterinarian that he was "just a dog" in response to all of us crying. I really cannot stress how unprofessional and cold the staff is. You would think you barged into someone's home and demanded that they care for your dog by the way they acted. Do not use this Vet!

I absolutely love Dr. Chambers and the entire staff at North Branch Vet. We receive cards in the mail about reminders for appointments and shots. After each vet appointment, we receive a call 2-3 days later following up about our animals and how they are doing based on the most recent visit and what needed to be done. While I sometimes feel a little crazy about my dogs and their health, they always answer my questions with nothing but respect and patience. One time, one of our dogs at a pair of underwear, which was not only horrifying but extremely concerning. The veterinarians coached us through what to do and we're happy to report our doggo is happy and healthy. Dr. Chambers is a wonderful human who has dedicated her entire life to helping animals. She has extensive knowledge about animal issues and ailments and has diagnosed and treated our dogs in a prompt manner when they come in with severe issues. We love her and recommend her to all our friends and family.

We've been taking our 2 dogs and 3 cats here since we moved to the area in 2013. They have always been professional, courteous and kind to us. We've had to put down two of our beloved cats in the past 18 months - never a fun thing to do - and they showed the utmost in compassion. Dr. Kemplin and Dr. Chambers along with their staff have always provided us with just the right amount of dialogue to help us understand what, if any, medical issues are present and how to best care for our pets. They also provide timely reminders by postcard about upcoming appointments and also send hand-written condolence cards. The personal touch wins every time. I would like to offer a bit of perspective regarding previous commentary regarding the staff being rude. I have never observed the staff being rude to me or anyone else. We all have diverse personalities, and I understand they often experience a high volume of pets/clients/customers/cases at any one point in time. If anything, they are doing their best to treat every pet with the utmost care and in a timely fashion. Sometimes expediency trumps being superficially kind. I know these people to be sincere and trust them to do what they need to do to care for our pets!

If I could rate this place 0 stars I absolutely would. Last night, our beloved family puppy was ran over by a truck. We brought her in, and she had 4 fractures in her hip, and a completely broken femur. What do they do? THEY SENT HER BACK HOME AND SAID SURGERY WILL NOT BE UNTIL THREE DAYS LATER. Our PUPPY was SCREAMING when she got home. She got ONE dose of pain medicine which did not do anything. I went to the bathroom, and came back and she was laying in a puddle of her own blood. We went back to the hospital, and the only thing they did was give her another pill for pain. We ended up bringing her to BluePearl in Blaine, which took PROPER care of her. She was watched over night, and is already having surgery this morning (next day) and she is expected to be just fine. This place is an absolute joke, and I do not feel that our situation was taken care of at all. Very disappointed. Please don't bring your animal here, I don't want anyone to feel the heartbreak our family experienced last night.

I WILL NEVER BRING ANOTHER ANIMAL TO THIS VET. dr.chambers told me my dog had 2 days to live because lymes was killing her. I called to get meds for it because shes been 100% better and they lost my file... not ok also called 5 times about my file they finally found it after 5 hours. Then tells me that she was only exposed to lymes. All she gave me for options was to put my dog down. I dont care about the coast I will do anything for my dog. and now I cant get meds because shes to small. She is a tiny chihuahua and weighs 3 pounds. Your going to tell me they dont have meds for small dogs? Nope. Done with this vet and their doctors. And a friend of mine went there a few years ago and they told her the same thing that her dog was dying of lymes. So they put her down when she never had it!!!!!! Misdiagnosed!!!!!!!!! Also why would the vet not want to help an animal. She didn't even give me options to save her. Pretty much sent her home to die well SHES STILL HERE AND SHOWS NO SIGNS OF DYING. I will never let me said it again NEVER EVER bring another animal to this vet and I will let everyone I know to never go here! Sincerely a very angry customer!!!!!!
