I will start off by saying that I never and I mean NEVER do reviews. I took my Cleo to get a wellness check at Heritage as a new client. I assumed it would be like any other clinic...in and out. Boy that WAS NOT THE CASE!!! Krista and Dr. Finkel were AMAZING!!! Not only are they professional but personable which to me is extremely important. They both knew I was extremely nervous (our cat is expecting) and they both made sure I left feeling like I had a team behind me!

Heritage is awesome, hands down the best vet clinic I have taken our 2 dogs to. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Dr Watson does a wonderful job with our dogs and they love her. Heritage is the only place we trust to take care of their nail trimmings. After a terrible experience with another place in town, one of our dogs wouldn't let you near him with a clipper, the techs at heritage understand this and know exactly how to comfort him and he is always excited to visit them.

We are visiting from the east coast. Our 15yo toy poodle began experiencing difficulties(diarrhea x 3 days with excoriated skin with some blood) so I consulted “doctor google” for some recs on local vets. The reviews for this practice were quite good so I gave them a call. They were unable to see us(too busy) and we were looking at a 20 hr drive back the next day(they recommended other groups.) As a physician myself I can tell you it doesn’t matter how good you are if you don’t see the patient.

I called one day, and was worried that my pet dog had caught kennel cough. I put in an appointment through online, and after few hours i got a phone call from them. I explained my dog’s situation and reassure me I don’t have to come in but just to watch out for more symptoms. Thanks! Dunc is better now.

We have been taking our two dogs to Heritage for several years now. The doctors, vet techs and staff provide quality and compassionate care. All three doctors saw our old black lab, Ruby, the last couple years as she was dealing with kidney disease and arthritis. Dr. Watson, especially, was very caring in helping us decide how to best care for her ailments. I'm a first time pet parent who adopted a three year old farm rabbit from some friends. So, when I got him he had never been to the vet before. Whenever I've taken him in for nail clippings and checkups the staff have always been gentle with him. I haven't ever felt awkward when talking to staff or asking specific questions on how to care for him. The women at the receptionist desk have also been very friendly and helpful. Additionally, not that I have anywhere else to compare to, prices have seemed to be fair.

Travis has been my family's vet for as long as I can remember, and I since have brought my own dog there. My newest dog is a rescue, and very scared/aggressively growls at new men, but they were all very patient with him, waiting until he was comfortable (after plenty of treats) to be up on the table and to be able to be looked at. They are great with sending you articles about what the diagnosis is, and making sure you completely understand what is going on. Heritage completely understands that my dog is part of my family, and treats him so! I've moved away from Minnesota, but if I am ever back in town with my dog and need a vet, Heritage will be the first place I call.

Great vet, I will continue to bring my boy Cooper here, and my last Guinea Pig. The only downside is tight scheduling. I need to schedule a week to month in advance to get flexibility around my work schedule (Or I end up taking PTO). I feel every major vet practice in Rochester will experience this same issue. Other then that everyone is kind, and easy to work with. Also enjoyed the positive clicker training for my puppy in the vets basement (We have graduated to paws abilities now). It is a great way to expose your pup to the vet atmosphere.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Provide detailed quotes for service. Don't push the sales of their products too hard. We've had procedures done for our two dogs that required general anesthesia and results have been great with very little down time and no complications.

I was a first time pet owner and I had no idea about the shots and vaccines required for my 2 month old puppy. I saw amazing reviews on google and called them. They helped in working out convenient timings for appointment according to my work hours. They are also excellent about reminders for the monthly puppy vaccines. The first time we visited them they gave a complementary nail trimming, water bottle and candy bag as a welcome gesture. Also, they sent a nice little card home with his picture to welcome him. They also extend a friendly environment in the clinic. I would definitely recommend them as they make things seem so easy :)

Then when I had to pick her up, I had my sleeping baby in the car and they came out to me and explained everything! This was our first visit to the Heritage Pet Hospital and the team that served my two dogs and I was outstanding. The front desk staff comfortably placed us in a room and Cheryl, the technician was in right away to start checking out our two labs. Minutes later Dr. Watson was in and took her time with us was very thorough and clearly explained any of the recommendations and treatment plans. She is was excellent with both dogs, Bergen and Wilson warmed up to her fast and a great communicator to me as a client, we sooooo enjoyed her! The staff came in and took my payment right in the room and helped me to the car with one of the dogs, which was so nice when you are over 8 months pregnant! Lastly, you will never miss an appointment... you will receive and email, phone call reminder and text if you wish! We will be back and feel thankful we have found a great vet.

The staff at Heritage Pet hospital truly care! They have taken great care of my chinchilla Billy, he is 14 years old! They have reasonable prices as well. I took Billy in for a check up yesterday because I noticed silver in his eye. Dr. Toddie checked over Billy's eye but also checked his other eye and made sure the rest of him was healthy, even checked his teeth! She went above and beyond and did more than what we brought him in there for (eye). She informed us that Billy was just starting to maybe get cataracts but that he could still see and to not worry! The vet bill was only $60! Reasonable in my opinion! I will always bring Billy here and I highly recommend if you have exotic pets or rodents to bring them to heritage pet hospital!

Everybody was helpful and nice. But I didn’t know i really neeeeed to buy the nexgard in a vet place. One of the tech, he said, “some of em get replaced with fake ones in a regular store.” I don’t know about that. Anyway, i still like coming here.

They seem to really care, and were kind and competent handling both of our (very different personality) cats. In fact, they have us trying a new medication for our boy who pulls his fur out. We had assumed all along that it is an allergic reaction to something, but they thought it might be a difficult-to-find mite. This medication treats the mites and works as a flea and tick preventative. If it works, it means we don't have to keep giving him the other stuff that tastes terrible and stresses him out daily. Here's hoping! We really appreciated the new-to-us insight!

Every time we had an emergency you were there to help out. You gave both my son and daughter hope, as you would be honest and yet warm and caring about any results you found. No matter the out come. As adults we know hamsters and lizards don't live forever or long. You always called and checked up on every pet they brought in. I want to say thank you for all you have done. We had a black lab that was 13 years old and she was our first lab. Due to old age and her quality of life our family decided to put her to rest. The Vet Techs are great. When you call in to book an appointment due to a concern, they will help you determine how necessary and how immediate an appointment should be. During business hours they always manage to squeeze my pup in if his symptoms are troubling. I wish they had some weekend hours, but I like them because every member of the staff treats my dog in a friendly caring .

Read all the great reviews online and decided to take our cat Baby to Heritage. Very happy with our Vet Dr. Jennifer Watson. Every one was very kind to our Baby cat and will continue to take her there. We highly recommend them. Only downside is they do not have a payment plan and require payment on day off but besides that the facility was very clean and welcoming !!

It's hard to find words to describe what makes Heritage so special. The kindness of the staff, the knowledge, the competency, the trust and sincere care would be places to start. But in all honesty, I love this clinic because they genuinely love my German Shepherd. The amount of time and gentle assessment they give, their attentiveness to not stressing animals, and their authentic friendship makes this clinic both unique and also very special. I have full confidence they put the needs of animals above all else. After moving further away, we continue to have our animals cared for by Heritage despite other clinics being closer and it is well worth the drive.

We took our cat to Heritage to treat our cat for a MINOR eye scratch. Without asking they stuck my cat with an OUTDATED version of the rabies vaccine. He died 2 months later. Before they killed my cat we took him in for multiple visits. Laura Toddie was short, demissive, and was not concerned of my cats health. We are so thankful that Toddie was out of the office when we had to put him down because the new Vet revealed information in Toddies notes that she did inform to us. The large lady at the desk is also very unpleasant and patient rooms smell of Formaldehyde. It seems like the place is losing money and they only care about money. Please do not take your loved ones here.
