REVIEWS OF Quakertown Veterinary Clinic IN Michigan

Donna Sciacca

My experiences with this clinic have all been positive starting with the reception through discharge. Every person I encountered was polite, and helpful. Most importantly the medical care my fur babies, both dogs and cats, received was superb. The doctors are gentle and have a wonderful way in making your pet feel comfort. Their prices are fair as well.

Dr. Clark is hands down the worst human being I’ve ever met. Not only does she belittle you but she will also tell you how she knows more than you and you don’t know anything. About every 1 star review is about her and it’s a sign for Quakertown Veterinary Clinic to get a new exotic pets vet. Words cannot describe how terrible my first and last visit was. From treating people like they’re little kids to acting like she knows everything about your animal. I will never ever in my life ever come back to this place or ever recommend it. Instead I will be telling ever person I know with an exotic pet to not even waste their time on thinking about going here. The only people there that were professional, nice, and overall caring were the staff. Dr. Clark is terrible.

Krystallyn Press

My dog had to be put down today. It is truly the deepest pain I’ve ever felt. The only thing I can take comfort in is knowing how well he was taken care of. Dr. Sinopoli was understanding and compassionate. He was able to go peacefully and comfortably, surrounded by love. We were so grateful to get to spend a few hours a day in his last few days with him even though he was in the hospital.

Peter Hanes

Has always been an exemplary veterenary practice. Even after having moved, my family makes the 1hr+ trip to get vet care here. Been patronizing them for nearly 20 years. They're great.

Tammy Westney

Dr. Walski is a very rare veterinarian. She takes a holistic approach to treating our pets, and she's a chiropractor as well. She has worked wonders on our dogs.

Cindy Newhart

Dr.Denardo is wonderful and answers all of your questions very personable.

Keith Gustafson

The staff at Quakertown Animal Hospital are amazing. They always greet you with a warm and friendly smile, and are always helpful. Dr. Pickens especially is an amazing doctor. My sheep got very sick, which he needed to stay at the hospital for a few days. She and the staff always made sure I stayed up to date on how he was doing and that he didn't leave the hospital until he was back to normal. I am so happy with the care that they provided to him and my other animals.

Donna Hungarter

From the minute we walk in we are greated warmly! Every staff member that walks by takes time to say hi to your pet! The Vets are all compassionate, take time and explain everything! I have never been rushed! Dr Savor takes so much time letting my dogs get used to him before he touches them! Highly recommend!!!

Maria Williams

They are very caring and compassionate and do all they can for people's pets because they know how important they are, and they are like our kids. I also was a first time vendor at the pet fair on June 1st it was well put together and everyone was so friendly and helpful I will be back next year!

McKenzie May

Top notch veterinary care. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt staff. I could not be more pleased!!

dragonfireny

I was only the driver for my friend who had their animal here in an emergency. But the service he got. And the help that was given to others as I waited seemed really good. Coffee station is always a nice plus to any waiting room!

ml purcell

My dog got hit by a car and I was a wreck. One of the doctors happened to be leaving for the day when I arrived and checked my dogs vital signs while in the car and helped get him inside. Excellent care from bringing him in to bringing him home the next day.

V. H.

I bring my pup here for major surgery. She has been spayed, has had her teeth cleaned, and two ACL surgeries done and every time I've been here the staff has treated myself and my pup with the upmost respect. The ortho doc that works here is great, and the techs are wonderful. I live far from this vet so it isnt my pups regular vet for check ups but if I lived closer it would be!

Joan Honer

They are really great veterinarians. Treat our pets kindly.

Christina Lokay

First so this is so long.....My dog was an emergency, I even called in before I got there with my little 10lb dog. He was already at his vet for excessively throwing up. My vet gave him a shot for hydration and anti-nausea meds. A couple hrs at home my dog was throwing up and had bloody diarrhea, the blood was just dripping out of him and he was really weak and tried. When we got to the hospital they didnt take him back for an emergency. I had to go up and ask when he was going to be seen, I was told that there arent a lot of doctors and they are all busy. 2 1/2 hrs later my dog threw up again and was just laying there on his side on the bench not moving I was so scared! I went up again n told them he threw up and they said they will tell someone. No one came out! So hes just laying there w puke In front of him looking like he might not make it. A girl from the front just happen to see him and asked if he was ok.....of course i said no....she finally got someone and they took him right back so the vet could check his vitals!! Thank god he was ok after being admitted for a few days. Then he received the help he needed and they were really good about calling me with updates about his condition.

Robert Laconi

Have used QVC for many years for two dogs . Have always been satisfied and confident with the care and the front office service .

Christine Hill

Love it here. Staff and doctors are great. Very attentive to pets needs.

Nancy D

As always knowledgeable and takes the time to talk to my daughter about her goats and alpacas.

Quinn Werley

Had stark differences with a vet. Seemed to be more interested in selling us than my dogs heath. It may have been isolated to this specific doctor. Can not be totally sure since this was an emergency and not our usual vet clinic.

Robert Suplee

Love the service and the techs are great. The doctor was very thorough took her time.

Michael Gurdineer

Staff and facilities are fast and on-point; these people clearly love what they do!

M E Davalos

Experienced doctors. Compassionate staff.

Rick Klugman

They say they offer around the clock emergency services, yet when my Cockatoo broke his leg late one night we were turned away because the doctor already had two other emergencies that night. I get that...but don't say you offer 24/7 emergency services when you don't. I might also add, this was my bird's regular vet, at least until that night. As others have mentioned, Dr. Clark is very condescending and I felt like I was treated like a 12 year old.

David Keich

They are very reasonable for an Animal ER. This is the second time i was here. Everyone is courteous and knows what thry are doing. Went over options with me. Very happy with their service.

judith hnyda

They were wonderful, it was a very difficult evening and they made it as comfortable as possible.

Marco Barbesta

Excellent vet services!

Justin Erickson

Staff members were very kind to me during a time when I got pretty afraid. They were great to my cat as well.

Patrick Roth

Worse than reg doctors you make appt and still have to wait an hour after appt time. Bedside manner is one thing but calling next appt telling them hes running late would be a novel idea .

Tim Moss

Had to take our dog here around 4am to have her euthanized because she was suffering and our vets office was closed, they where very nice and caring and did not take advantage of us. Highly recommend reasonable pricing and didn't make us give them any $ beforehand because they knew she needed immediate attention and they took care of that first.

Heather Ney

Family dog seen for very red eyes.. Diagnosed with uveitis, they put her on one eye drop. Told to see their opthmalogist, who had a 3 week waiting list. Dogs retinas detached few days later. Now completely blind. Others with similar experiences stated our pet should have been on multiple eye drops plus oral steroids. Something that could have been totally prevented I believe!!

After one visit for our kitten's upset tummy, we've found our regular vet! We were seen within 5 minutes of arriving for our appointment, the staff are very warm and personable, and they do a great job of explaining all the options of treatment. Clean facility, friendly staff and affordable visits. Thanks for helping out kitty feel better fast!

Ric Ravier

I hope you never have to go here, but if you do, you will be taken care of.

Rusty

Very reasonable prices. Will not break the bank.

JoAnn Porter

Great vets & caring service!

Barbara Toddes

Tonight we said good by to our dear friend Cid - she had spent 35 years as an intricle part of our family - with us before our children and after they were grown and gone. Dr Clark and her associates were wonderful in helping us say goodbye - we will forever be grateful - Thank you

Ron Hari

Dr. Sam Geller has been awesome with Marta Stepanida and Remmie the Roman ...

Justin Bold

Very helpful and friendly staff.

Theresa DiLullo

Caring and friendly Drs and staff. Great care of the animals. The only thing they should acknowledge your wait time. It is an ER as well, so you know things can happen but client should be notified they are aware you are waiting and are doing their best to get to you. Sometimes the acknowledgment makes the wait easier.

Great people with hearts of gold. Doctors on large animal side are amazing. Thank you

Fee Skalecki

This Vet clinic is amazing and works around the clock to make sure any animl they see gets proper treatment and heals quickly. They have always been so kind to me and my pets as well as very very helpful.

Michael Cheslock

Great place for pet care

t y e s h a

Excellent service and reasonable prices. They were very accommodating for my dog and family's emergency. The staff showed compassion, patience, understanding, and helped give me the ability to continue delivering the best care possible to my pup. Thank you for not only being open during our time of need, but also for exceeding our expectations! We followed up during normal business hours for our dog's return visit. That's how great we felt the care was!

Jenn Bubba

Dr Svor is the best! My dogs love him . Considerate care from the entire staff.

George Hegedus

Our Vet was very professional. She listened to our dog's problems and asked pertinent questions. She gave us all the time we needed and showed genuine concern. This was sort of an emergency and they slipped us in first thing in the morning. The prescriptions the Vet prescribed already have made a huge difference. Thank you.

Sarah Lieberman

I just met with Dr. Wilhelmy today to discuss my dog Marty’s compulsive tendencies. She was absolutely wonderful. She was patient and spent at least an hour with me going over his history and reviewing possible plans and solutions. She has already reached out to me after our appointment to see if I had any further questions and with more information. I’m very thankful that Marty is in her care.

Kathy Crossin

We've been very satisfied with the vet care for our Aussie; but our recent experiences have been with Mary, the "Aussie Whisperer" groomer, who is tremendous. Our guy leaves looking like a show dog, even though he's an outdoor-loving pup. Definitely recommend on both counts, vet and grooming.

Jessica Costanzo

Yesterday I took my panther chameleon to the vet. Dr. Clark was absolutely amazing. She was pleased for the care I give him. She’s all about giving the animals proper care. She was cracking jokes and having a great time. She knows what she’s doing when it comes to exotics. It was an absolute pleasure meeting her. She did great with handling him. I couldn’t have asked for a better exotic pet vet. My chameleon had a swollen neck. After the first dose of anti biotics the swollen in his neck has already improved. I’m so so happy with the experience. Great job Dr. Clark !!!!

Kelly M

Excellent staff. Open 24 for emergencys. They have always taken excellent care of our pets.

Dwight Gittleman

Dr Barin Is the number 1 Veterinary Doctor on the East coast! She truly cares about your little buddies. She is very knowledgeable about animals. Very available for her patients. Thanks Dr Barin for caring!

Sebastian Gordon

Takes great care of animals no matter what.

Linda Parker-Ventura

Very pleasant personnel...got me in when I needed them...it was an emergency visit...this is not my regular local vet that I use. I would definitely use their emergency services again.

Wanda Franke

Not good anymore. Caused a multitude of problems for our 9 lb. dog by prescribing medication for a LARGE dog. She hasn't been the same since. Ask questions. Check the dose. Then ask more questions. Never be afraid go ask. Ask ask. You are your pets advocate and only you. My heart hurts for their mistake.

Carol Becker

Very good emergency care

juno star

We have had great experiences with the exotic vet and staff but are very disappointed that the exotic vet is suddenly only on 1day a week. We wish the practice would have given us notice so we could find a new vet because we now have a pet emergency and no vet for him.

Lance Plessl

Knowledgeable and compassionate staff. Great emergency hours... They are literally there 24/7. Despite the 2 hr wait at 11pm, I still give 5-stars because this is one place that definitely isn't all about the money.

Ellite13

Very knowledgeable and friendly stuff

I am very happy with Quakertown Veterinary clinic. Everyone there is so helpful and kind. When my two sweet dogs both about 14 years old got sick there was so much help and compasion with the situation. After they passed away you could see how bad they all felt for us. We have adopted a rescue and I would not think of taking her to any other vet. We have also used the boarding facility and the care that our new dog got was just amazing. In fact, I think she liked being there so much that she wanted to stay and they hated to see her leave.

N D

We saw Dr. Wilhelmy (who has a limited practice at the office and deals with behavioral issues in dogs). We were referred by our own vet and were a little skeptical about going to a "behaviorist" (and also apprehensive about the price tag). However, it turned out to be extremely beneficial. Dr. Wilhelmy gave our appointment a lot of time and attention and didn't rush through anything. She asked a great deal of questions and looked at our dog in a holistic way - not just focusing on the problem we were seeing her for. She took into account all of our dog's history and issues before making a diagnosis and treatment plan. Because of her recommendations, our dog has improved greatly. I can't speak a great deal as to the rest of the vet office, but their office is extensive and they seem clean and organized.

charlene grilletto

Had Dr. Mosby for thr first time today, he was AMAZING with my Akita

Amber Stauffer

Absolutely wonderful! Took great care of my two pugs. I called every few hours and they always gave me updates in a timely manner without attitude or making me feel like I was bothering them. I cannot express how thankful I am for the staff and dr Forsyth.

Kathy Crossin

Jessica Conard

Best vet ever. Clearly explained all concerns I had. Care deeply about all animals.

Barbie Luck

Under a very sad situation the staff was terrific. My very sick kitten was rushed there but unfortunately it was to late. The staff was very comforting and informative. I want to thank them all for there support during a very tough time.

cindy borger

With all of our experiences here, everyone was professional, helpful & caring about our pets. Would recommend them!

Linda Baxavaneos

Not good at getting back to you with results. You have to call them.

Lisa Burns

Amazing doctors...amazing staff! They ALL truly care about our animals. I highly recommend Quakertown Vet!

Ed Lamoureaux

Best animal hospital ever. The place is enormous with generalists and specialists. They treat every animal imaginable and they are extremely affordable.

Wendy Schwartz

Absolutely, hands-down, the highest quality care for your pets. We had extreme emergencies followed by surgery with one cat and basic kitten care for our other here. My parents are big animal people, as well (like 5 new indoor kittens & strays they help/care for) and will ONLY go here from birth to death. They are kind, compassionate, technologically advanced, but will discuss and try to be open to alternative options & care. They are 24-7 for most domestic pets and emergency care at any hour requires no appointment. There are always qualified doctors on staff with techs and desk personnel no matter the hour. When you have a serious concern, this is where you go. Ultra-clean and always a warm environment for you & your pets. They always make time for visitors when pets have to stay and will accomodate 2 hour visits even in urgent care in the evenings. The only con is they are extremely expensive. For basic things like shots and neutering, you can easily pay $150 to $300 per visit. So for small things, you may want to use "No Nonsense Neutering" or other low cost services in your area. But their price matches their quality of car, facilities, and excellent staff. Prescriptions, medicated foods, treats, etc are prescribed and filled right there. Those are generally "retail price" with occasional coupons. I treat my pets like my children. And I cannot think of a single complaint about staff or quality. But be ready to open your wallet. *They sometimes offer payment arrangements and work with you on extremely high-cost services as long as you pay on time* This is the best Vet in this part of the Region. They also see reptiles, horses, and exotic animals (but for really rare pets during emergency hours, an official "doctor" may require a wait or call-ahead appointment). There are separate waiting areas and entrances for different types of pets. There's always clearly-marked parking. But the parking lot is very crowded more often than not. Handicapped parking, ramps, and accessibility available

Steve Schaeffer

Good vet.

Paloma Rivera

I came in bc my dogs stitches cane off, his regular vet wasn’t in to help so we drove close to an hour bc this is a place that they’ve recommended. We had been here one other time last week and it was an okay experience. Today was a nightmare. I didn’t have a sitter so I’m with my 3 small kids and my injured pet, I ask the receptionist if I could wait in my car since she told me the wait would be a long time. She said of course, and wrote down the description of my car. I was literally the brightest red truck parked directly in front of their view. I asked if it would be a long wait, she said yes. I was ok with that and asked if I can go get a cup of coffee. She said yes. I was gone maybe 5 minutes the longest. I sat in my car for TWO entire hours with my restless kids and dog that’s in clear pain. I come inside to ask how much longer and she said they had called us in and we weren’t inside for the doctor to see me. I was furious bc they didn’t even bother to call me. I was looking directly into the office the entire time I was sitting there. Not one time did someone come out to look or even bother calling my cell phone. If that was the case I would’ve waited inside the office with my dog and my 3 kids. They shouldn’t have made it seem like it was okay for me to wait in the car, take down my cars description if they weren’t going to follow through. I had no problem waiting inside, but I figure I’d ask. And then when she wrote down the color and description of my car I thought this was norm. They all tried to tell me they came to look for me while I was gone but she had initially told me it was also ok for me to run and get a cup of coffee since the wait was going to be a long time. There were two other pets in front of mine. There is no way they were seen in the five minutes I was gone. All three receptions began a yelling war with me bc I was clearly frustrated and they were clearly wrong. That’s my only complain. I had no problem with the vet tech nurses or the vet. But I did have to wait 2 entire hours in my car with my 3 small kids and my dog in pain with an open wound.

Jesse James

They provide good services and the staff are very friendly and competent. Unfortunately I recently discovered that the vet assistants are paid very low wages, keeping in mind that they are adults. It's a very profitable business that does not take care of it's employees, which means I must find a new veterinary clinic.

Heather Denner

Excellent, excellent, excellent. All I can say is the staff is wonderful and they did a laceration repair on my dog and they did a wonderful job!!!! She was in and out! She's doing better than ever!

Jeff McCullen

Drs are very caring and compassionate to your pets needs

Karen Davis

The staff here is exceptional, the facility is clean, and the prices are reasonable. Even though there are veterinary practices closer to my home, I won't consider taking my pets anywhere but Quakertown Veterinary Clinic. I've used their regular veterinary practice, their emergency services, and their boarding facility, and all are top-notch!

ani hale

Highly recommend this veterinary office. My golden, Tucker was diagnosed with epilepsy two years ago and they have been nothing but amazing. Although they are a little pricey, they are fast, educated and kind. I really enjoy Barbara, who works at the counter. She is so sweet and great with my Pup!

Ken Sutliff

I was only there for their 28th annual pet fair,it was a good time and fun day.

This place almost killed my cat. I’m not going to get into specifics in this review but they are lying when they claim what happened was truly not the case. Quakertown Veterinary Clinic told me it was okay to come and pick up my pet within 24 hours of being there when in actuality he should have been there for at least a few days. He started showing signs of withering health hours after picking him up from their facility. When we called to see if we could bring him back they were going to charge us another up front fee. They did not do their job the first time. Luckily, he weathered the storm and we were able to take him to our personal vet when they opened. He had to spend four days and three nights there. Quakertown Veterinary Clinic will not take responsibility for their actions so it is my right to warn the general public of their wrongdoing and appalling behavior. If you want the job done and done the right way DO NOT GO TO QUAKERTOWN VETERINARY CLINIC!

Terry Atler

I have been using this Veterinary service since around 1972 when I was raising farm and domestic animals. They have always been the most trusted vet of choice, and they still are today. Today I entrust our beloved pet dog Rosie to their care. I find them to be as loving, kind and gentle as always. I highly recommend this practice.

Scott Fogel

Excellent feline care. Very good and compassionate group.

Cindy W

Sometimes I think they get so busy it gets confusing.

Rosa Gonzalez

Very kind staff and caring.

Nidesha Johnson

I love how personable they are with the animals. They are very gentle. but if you do not have all of the money, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU. It's a business so its expected but sometimes things happen and our pets have emergencies that we don't expect. Other than that, they were really good.

Maryanne Fullman

I have been bringing my cats here since 1972. They are always professional and thorough. I trust their judgement for treatment. I travel 35 minutes to see them. I have a Vet within blocks of my house but prefer to continue to come here.

karin Druckenmiller

Emergency visits for Hank to induce vomiting. It was fairly quick since there weren't any other emergencies. The staff was friendly especially the girls at the front desk.

Raina Smith

They took care of my pooch, right away a little pricey, but what are you going to do. If your pooch is in trouble

diane whitesell

The best in the lehigh valley. Excellent doctors, staff, techs and customer care, compassionate and friendly. Always available 24/7. A very committed group of people. Animals/pets are well cared for and the drs are very thorough. Highly recommended!

Spectrum Man

Nothing but the best here

David Janoski

Absolutely amazing level of service. Every member of the staff that I encountered was very helpful and courteous. Their pricing is also very reasonable.

Kris Squiccimara

Went in for my sick snake to be checked by their reptile vet along with my other two snakes today. First DR. Clark argued with me that my very obvious 2 Red tail boas were ball pythons, mind you these are two of the most distinct snakes on the domestic market currently. She insisted that my boas are ball pythons, they look completely different my one boa is also papered as it is a high end morph. She then threw my snakes all around and handled them like they were rag dolls to the point were my sick snakes head made a poping sound when she held it. There’s a few other things on top of all this but to make a long story short, I asked for tests to be done to finer determine what illness my snake had, she then threw my snake 2 ft into the tote slammed the lid on and told me that if I want test done then I need to find another vet. Quakertown reptile specialist Dr. Clark has to be one of the most unprofessional professionals. I extremely recommend staying away from her Harleysville reptile specialist was a dream to work with.

Tim Anglemeyer

Not cheap but we lost our pet during birthing and the dr. Was in tears at our loss she loves animals and did everything possible so if money is less important than your than your pet i recommend them highly!!!!

Erica McHugh

Care is wonderful. 2nd time my dog had surgery there. Professional, thorough and caring. Not to mention their price for the surgery was around $400 cheaper than my own vet. Excellent all around!

Ann Bushong

They take care of my dog and treat us like we are individuals and not just a client

David Tooley

Had to take my dog in at midnight on a Thursday evening because of erratic behavior and neurotic symptoms. Dr Cilli quickly evaluated my dog and recommended treatment and close observation for the next few days. She was straightforward but still compassionate, and the prognosis was not good. By Sunday my dog's condition had deteriorated and we took him back on Sunday Morning. Dr. Lehr picked up right where Dr. Cilli had left off. She was so kind and caring, and unfortunately we had to make the decision to let our pup go.. Very tough day for us, the dog was 13 years old and quality of life was not going to improve. Dr. Lehr and the entire staff were awesome and were so helpful throughout the entire process. I can't say enough about how much this facility cares about their customers and their pets. The people who work at the desk are equally compassionate. Thank you Quakertown Vet Hospital for making this situation as bearable as it could possibly be...you're all awesome!! (And thank you for the nice sympathy card also...signed by nearly 30 associates....awesome)!!

Sarah Campbell

Dr. Clark was incredibly rude. She berated me for the entire appointment, and kept asking me why I even brought my bearded dragon to her. She handled him very poorly and he was visibly stressed through the entire appointment as she mishandled him. She wouldn't let me ask questions or explain myself at all. Everytime I tried to answer her questions she cut me off and told me immediatly I was wrong.

Linda Snell

Excellent, patient, caring staff!

Cameron Lam

Terrible terrible vet, Dr. Clarke! Very disrespectful and rude. Treated my friend like she was 12 and making rude comments to her! Never coming here again if she or myself get Dr. Clarke. She definitely shouldn’t be working there if she will be rude to all her patients and completely making my friend feel so small in that room.

Rick Vogel

Staff is great, but they are expensive.

elizabeth stanley

quakertown has been the worst veterinary clinic I have ever been to. In my experience, they never provide adequate energy care for large and small animals. Don’t ever use them they sanction law suits against their clients. I moved to PA about a year and a half ago and have been using them ever since that time. I have had one good experience with them. The quality of care has been horrible and over priced. It is unfathomable that I pay more for veterinary services in Pa then I did on Long Island. An example of their incompetence would be when I called them to come look after one of my baby goats and the vet refused to come to my house or accept me at the office because my goat was only a $50 Animal. Another would be when I brought one of my 7 dogs in for care because he was attacked by someone else’s dog. They kept him overnight said he needed a drain but never placed one. His leg became swollen and infected! I had to go to another vet to get the proper care for my dog. I had been trying to take issues up with their customer service representative but they never call back. I had my last straw the other day and will no longer keep quiet about their incompetence. I am the behavior coordinator at an animal shelter and have over 10 years experience working with companion animals. I also work closely with a rescue. I had been fostering a dog for them and we determined the dog was no longer fit for adoption. We brought the dog to Quakertown for euthanasia and it went horribly wrong because of the incompetence of the veterinarian. I can no longer be quiet and allow them to freely practice bad medicine.

Mike Bodamer

Have been here multiple times over the years with different types of animals ranging from routine to emergency. The staff have always been super helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable and caring. They see all types of animals that other vets won't. If you have a scheduled appointment the prices are reasonable, of course emergency visits are more expensive. I recently took one of my chickens there and they treated her like a queen, when calling around to other vets that were closer to me I got the impression that it was "just a chicken" and why bother with it. So I drive over an hour to this place because I know I will get good service.

Sharon Schippers

Seriously You consider yourself 24 hrs??? Waiting more than 2 hrs for a callback....at 11pm! Now after 1am! Still no response! If something happens this is on your head!!

Tukie K

Customer service from the receptionist was poor. Very short with me and said she had other people on the line. Excuse me? I am one of those people on the line with you. I am a loyal customer to this vet clinic and the quality of service definitely slips.

Brittany Burton

Had an emergency visit to Quakertown vet, as my local vet only knows so much about pot belly pigs and a pig rescue in P.A. Both suggested DR.Wilber. They took me in with no appointment booked, staff was calm and caring which was nice bc I was a crying nervous mess. My pig was kept overnight to receive IV fluids and well taken care off through sedation, xrays and overnight stay. I will definitely drive an hour and half for their care if needed again! Thankfully my pig is 100% back to his normal self. Thank you Dr.Wilber and large animal Quakertown staff!

Great Environment. They offer a wide variety of services and are great with your pets and animals

One of our German shepherds had been hit my a car at 9 pm. And we put the dog in the car, called the vet from the car and the said they would have a vet standing by .... not only did they help us get the dog out of the car, they had us go straight into a room where the vet was right there. Taking great care of our dog right away. .. they are our vet from now on.

Dean Martin

Been Taking our Puppies here for 12 years love this place

Leo Gatens

Great place for dog to stay when out of town. Also our dog received excellent surgical care a few years ago here. He's so happy once he sees the staff there.

DJbacon L

Superb staff. Concering and caring. Made what turned out to be a difficult visit into the best they could. My highest ranking

Carol Lucom

Caring, thorough and 24 hour emergency service

Dr. Denardo is an amazing surgeon and doctor! He made us feel comfortable and was very honest with us. Everyone there was very kind and helpful anytime I called. Very greatful for Dr. Denardo!

Stephanie Roberts

Took good care of my fur baby

If I could give this place less than one star I would. My dog had to have a rhinoscopy done by Dr. Consigli. This man mentioned THREE times over the phone that he had to just get a bunch of surgeries done that day because he was going on a vacation. He made it seem like my dog was just another animal going down a conveyor belt and then acted TERRIFIED because he's a staffordshire terrier and kept flinching every time my dog moved. He rushed me through all of my questions and interrupted every single one of them (again, rushing because he had to go on vacation). The surgery cost $2,000 and they couldn't even wipe the blood from my dog's face when they gave him back 12 hours later. I never even got a call from Dr. Consigli to ask how he was recovering. He misdiagnosed my dog and charged over $200 for medicine that didn't work and whenever I tried to call him I was put on hold by the front desk for at least 15 minutes each time only to play phone tag with this man and not get any answers. Once I explained that the medicine wasn't working he said he didn't know what could possibly be wrong and then said "wait, I'm talking to ____, right?". He told me to keep giving my dog the antibiotics and once I told him that I got the prescription from PetMeds because it was cheaper he told me to stop giving it to my dog. I went to Millpond vet and for $40 she told me that my dog had an autoimmune disease and gave him steroids for an amazing price and he was better in 3 days after a MONTH of going back and forth with quakertown vet. Save your time and your money and go to Millpond.

Doctors are amazing!

I go to Quakertown Veterinary Clinic for routine medical care of my two Collies and on occasion for emergency care. This past Friday night was an emergency visit when we had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Arielle Schoenlein. She provided the utmost thorough and compassionate care. Amy at the front desk is always so helpful and assuring. The vet technicians were top notch as well. Thank QVC for being there for us.

mark bryan

Our doctor has been amazing during the end of life care of our dog.

I am always confident that my pets get the best care at Quakertown veterinary clinic. The Doctors and staff always have my pets healthcare as their priority. I have been a client for over 50 years and am very satisfied with their service. I can call anytime, day or night and have my pet seen.

Michelle Bottone

Excellent clinic/hospital for all animals. Fantastic staff with compassion and empathy. I thought I was going to have to put my oldest dog down, but thankfully, she had an infection. They treated her right away. My younger pug punctured her eye somehow. They admitted her right way and gave her round the clock care. I'd recommend this clonic/hospital to anyone.

Giovanna Vogt

This was THE WORST experience of my life. I want to tell you exactly what happened so you can get an idea. My first time here I bring my new puppy for a check up and some shots. 1. As soon as I sit down with him the check out lady comes up to me, picks him up, and walks away without saying anything. I ask her where she is taking him and her response was “he’s coming with me.” I dont understand how you can just pick up someone’s dog and take him to YOUR DESK without talking to the owner. 2. The veterinarian was 25 minutes late and clearly wanted to get me out of there. She was short, not very compassionate, and cold. For 3 shots, and talking about my concerns I was in the room for 10 minutes. Also, the vet tech had no clue what she was doing. 3. Lastly, AGAIN the check out lady made the assumption my emotional support letter was fake. “Well I have a REAL letter from my REAL doctor.” Then after couldn’t schedule my appointment. I had to tell her 3 times that the doctor wanted to see me 3-4 weeks away and she still scheduled me for 2 weeks. So unprofessional and should not work in this environment. I will never come back here. I’m honestly just upset and angry with the poor service, customer service, and rudeness. Truly upsetting

I absolutely recommend this facility. We needed emergency care for our dog and not only were the prices very fair, but the care in itself was stellar! They didn't recommend any expensive testing nor did they try to upsell anything. Their goal was simply to get our pup better and that was it. They took one of the most scary experiences of our lives with our dogs and helped give us some peace of mind. We left confident that he was going to be ok and that we had the tools needed to help him dog just thatt. With that, they have built our trust and continued business. Silas also says thank you!! ❤❤

Luis Jean Taico

Great clinic they do care about our fur family

Glenn Pritchard

Great all night vet. Can be costly.

Amy Smith

I took my dog here due to them being the only vet open 24/7. After a few days of my dog being sick and no signs of getting better, we took her early Sunday morning. I was already upset due to her not feeling well. After a while they told us she needed to go into emergency surgery. I was scared and devastated especially since I could not be there for her. Each day the staff sends a picture update on her and always tell me how she is doing. As I did not expect this and missed her terribly, I was in tears when they sent the first picture. They have all been extremely kind, caring, and helpful. The doctors and nurses explained everything that they did or were going to do in detail so I was aware of what was going on. They have been so kind in my darkest time. I hope that I never have to bring my dog to a hospital again but if I did I would go back to this clinic! Thank you all so much.

Brian Hernandez

I gave 1 star because 0 stars was not an option. Dr Clark has the communication skills of a rock. This quote pretty much sums her up "Do you think you know more than me?" That actually came out of her mouth when we dared to question her genius. What a waste of time.

Dee Gads

Took her a puppy for an emergency visit. They took us right away and gave our puppy professional and welcoming care. The staff is concerned and loving. The vet took time to explain things to us and quality time to our puppy. The fees are the fairest we have seen in the area. They offer different services and the facility is extremely clean. An A+ rating

Sarah Bond

The staff is straight up rude. They lost my check and then weren't even helpful for trying to resolve the situation . Glad I never have to go back.

Bonnie Sue

The best doctors and friendliest staff. They are knowledgeable and caring. You won't feel rushed or unheard. They are highly professional and warm at once.

Karen Peterson

Although the care for my pet was adequate, communication could be approved. I understand that there was another emergency at the time but this was never communicated to us as we waited with our very anxious dog with a heart problem. Communication and a check in on us would have gone a long way to help in this situation.

Kiersten Carnes

I wont ever go back again because of dr.clarke she treated me terribly and told me to put down my rabbit and acted as if I knew absolutely nothing and blamed everything on my regular vet I go to. She had also told me that my rabbit automatically has cancer if I didnt get her spayed before she turns 4 and she tells me this right after I told her I spayed my rabbit. i didnt have any option but to go here due to an emergency. I will never go back she was absolutely rude and wouldn't even let me talk. The tech was very nice to me tho on the other hand and she had told me if I do have to come back there are other vets that I could see.

Donna Arcaro Serratore

Excellent! Everybody is very nice! We took our cat there on a Saturday because she wasn't eating. We knew that a feeding tube was the next step. They took the time to explain everything on the bill (and saved us a little extra money by cutting out some minor things). They made us feel like they would take great care of her and they did. She is now eating on her own again!

Daniel Romig

The Vet there is awesome! This place is hands down the best! Very caringbvery informative and seemed very genuine to both my pet and my own needs. Hats off to yoi guys

Robert Mcbrearty

Took very good care of our dog. Although his condition was minor, the staff spent all there time to treat the others and we still felt well taken care off. He's doing just fine. His name is legend. Woof.

I have been a customer here for many years. Recently, my dog is being treated for bladder stones . She is peeing all over the house and in quite a bit of pain . Surgery was scheduled quickly and was treated well .

Ashley mercier

This has been my dog Nalas vet for the past year and half. All of the staff is friendly and accommodating. They treat the animals as if they were their own!

Jim Crossin

We recently moved to the area and took our Aussie in for a checkup and to catch up on his shots. Everyone from the front desk staff to the vet were friendly and competent. I left feeling we had found an excellent practice to take care of our boy. Yesterday I took him in for a grooming and I am really, really pleased with the outcome. Felt I could literally have taken him to the show ring.

Jennifer Williamson

It's wonderful having access to a clinic 'nearby' that has 24-hour availability. Of course it's pricey, but hey, we love our furry kids.

Christina Schanbacher

Dog loves it there

It's a wait here whether you have an appointment or not. Without an appointment get comfy. Other than that the people here are very nice, very professional. Dr. Newton was amazing, answered all my questions and seemed genuinely invested in making sure my dog Maxx was doing okay.

Toika Jones

The best thing was the high tech coffee maker. It was better than Keurig that's for sure. They're compassion changed once our monies weren't good. Basically take your pup and go!

Jessica Kemeny

Fit my dog in last minute & kept me informed every step of her treatment. Everyone is so friendly

Suzanjoy Checksfield

Had an emergency with a feline I rescued from a feral colony. Was able to get an appointment quickly and was see swiftly when I showed up early with the emergency. The case was handled with care, empathy and compassion. Will be visiting them again hopefully.

Ashley Bryant

A female vet examined my mom’s dog and acted unconcerned despite his distended belly and weight loss. She was so unconcerned that my mom believed it was fine to take him home, with some antacids prescribed by the vet. Several days later she took him back because his condition was deteriorating and a (new) male vet immediately felt a tumor and he was ultimately diagnosed with inoperable growths that were terminal. How did the first vet miss this? The tumor was 15cm - definitely not something that grew over night between the two visits. So utterly disappointed, stringing my family along like this and potentially keeping the dog suffering. They then had the audacity to charge my mom for ANOTHER office visit. Disgusting.

Bill Slovinac

Good veterinarians and staff. Got us in quickly and I was reassured about the diagnosis. Open 24 hours.

Debbie Clarke

My dog Vada had the best care after tearing her ACL, very professional and I am happy with the customer service. Thank you Dr DeNardo!

Marty McGuire

We had a ER visit for our cat last night, they were courteous and caring and quickly determined the issue that our regular vet missed, and treated her overnight for a more reasonable cost than expected. My wife received a very nice text message from them this morning with an update and a picture of our cat recovering. Would definitely recommend Quakertown Vet Clinic over the other Lehigh Valley vet ER options where we have had very bad experiences.

Mat McCormick

My dog ate a bunch of ground beef and this is the only place open on a Sunday. They were super great they took care of her made her all better and now she's so happy little 12lb pup. The staff was super great at explaining everything and taking care of my pup. The doctor was super careful and cautious and made sure she covered all the bases to make sure she would be taken care of. It was pricey but you get what you pay for and I got a quality vet visit.

beth burnham

Terrible prices and some of the vets seem to care less, how can you call yourself a clinic and charge those astronomical fees. I mean $96 just to be seen? My regular vet charges $46 but I went here cus my vet wasn't available. Never again.

Nancy Morott

Very nice people. Handled our pet with compassion and empathy. Expensive, but in this case, we received what we paid for.

BOB PAOLINI

Dr. Geller is always calm, professional, kind, thorough, patient, compassionate... I could go on but make an appt with him at QVC and see for yourself. He really cares about animals and understands the costs involved and the limits people have with paying for them. I trust him completely with all my animals - three dogs and a cat. He has given me great hope when I thought there was none. I know it can be expensive but he really wants to work with you to get the care your beloved pet needs. They are there 24 hours a day - everyday. He is involved in clinical trials for new treatments so he stays current on new developments. Like I said, I trust him completely in a business where a mistake or a bad vet can kill your pet. I know firsthand that's why I go to QVC. Thanks to everyone at QVC for the great care over the years.

Tim Afflerbach

Best vet. 24 hr emergency service.

Joan Decker

Dr. Clark is the most unprofessional exotic vet!!!!! She berated me, argued with every answer I gave to the questions she asked me, didn't let me give a complete sentence before interrupting me with sarcasm and insults. She is always ready for an argument even though I followed all her care instructions through the years!!!! I had always dreaded going to her because of her manner, but today was the last time. She can't remember what she tells you from one appointment to the next, and now she tells me that the pet (lizard) should have been put down right from the beginning. But wait a minute now Dr. Clark, you were the vet for the lizard right from the beginning!!!!!!!!! And I have had the lizard for years now. UNBELIEVABLE. Do yourself a favor and find a exotic vet anywhere else but Quakertown Vet Clinic. I will be transferring all my animals to another vet because of her.

William Lambert

Excellent care for all your animals. Veterian discount.

Amy Arnold

The staff and Doctors are always helpful and informative.

Love Dr. Bimes at QVC. He's knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the time to make sure all your questions are answered.

I have had a truly wonderful experience with the Quakertown Vet Clinic. My dog broke his arm in a few places and I took him to Valley Central. They splinted it and advised that I need surgery but just getting it splinted was $700 and then I would need to pay an additional fee to talk to a surgeon as well as the price of the surgery. My vet recommended I go see Dr. DeNardo in Quakertown and he was amazing. The surgery was thousands less that the other quotes I got and the care was amazing. They took great care of my dog while he was at the hospital and then have followed up with him every two weeks for two months. All of this was in the cost of my original estimate for the surgery. Dr. DeNardo stayed really late to do his initial surgery and still made sure to call me right after to discuss all the details. He also had to get his pins removed and again they were so easy to schedule with and took great care of him. I am so happy with my experience here and would recommend them to everyone with a pet. It is great to go to a vet you can totally trust and know they are taking care of you and your pet. The entire staff is so friendly and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience.

Tina Unrath

This place is really big follow the signs in the parking lot. Very clean, separated areas if your pet isn't friendly or fearful. The tech was very nice and helpful. The vet was top notch. It is a bit more then others in the area but well worth it.

William Rosson

Complete care 24 hour veterinary services with knowledgeable and supportive staff.

Steven Tamburri

Caring, professional staff who are genuinely interested in the pets health and wellbeing. The dog's well pleased, and so am I.

Was here 2 plus hours before even being seen, and the floors are completely dirty. I asked for a blanket for my dog to lay on while we waited because of how dirty they were. And he said he would get one, well that didnt happen. If your short staffed, hire more help
