Refused to help my dying dog until we paid for his coverages upfront, which isn’t how thats supposed to work, my mother had to watch him die on the table because they wouldn’t help him, then they refused to let her take him home till she paid them $200

Dr Ackler and the staff was just amazing with taking care of our 13 1/2 yr old dog. She had a huge tumor removed and is doing amazing. We were able to be with her right after the surgery so we could comfort her and keep her calm. I had used this clinic until I moved from the area, but it is so worth the drive now.

DO NOT BOARD your animal here! We left our 9 month old puppy with them Friday morning and came back to find her not able to walk right because she had poop on her butt for at least a day and now it is raw and she still two days later has trouble going to the bathroom and sitting down on it! They apologized but pretty much denied responsibility and wouldn't even give us any kind of refund even though they said that it was unacceptable care. We even paid for her to have extra attention, not come back to us in bad condition! Will never even use them as a vet anymore for any of our three animals!

We are here from Texas for the summer and have used them for our Basset Hound for shots/flea and tick medicine and I can't say good enough things about the care our Basset received. They are very caring and he has even stayed during the day at their doggie daycare and he did great! I highly recommend Mancelona Veterinary Hospital!
