We drive from another town to take our animals to Dr. Daly. She believes in holistic methods first, which are easy on the pocketbook and healthier for your pet. She has always been right on the mark with her diagnosis and treatment and my animals love her. She has come into the office at crazy times if we couldn't get there at open appointments and at times stayed late for us. We've been going to her for years ~ she is simply the best. Extraordinary care and modest pricing. Don't see that every day.

Dr Whitney and staff were very helpful with our kitty. Treatment at another vet clinic for over 2months with little improvement. Once Robin Whitney saw her she explained the issue and prescribed a med to help her. Our kitty is doing better and seems to be recovering well. Thanks to Betsie River Clinic for all of your help!

I had an absolute poor experience with this place. I took my puppy in toget her shots and chip. The Dr came in and never introduced herself and talked down to my husband and I. She was rude and when she gave my dog her chip she put it in the middle of her back not between the shoulderblades where it is suppose to go. She got an infection two days later and was throwing up. We took her to another vet. Terrible service. I hope everyone elses is better.

There is no better place to take your pet or any animal. Compassionate people who care work there. When it was time for my beloved baby of 14 years to move to the rainbow in the sky, Dr. D came to my home and it was a very private and loving experience, many tears were shed. Then a feral kitten entered my life after she was saved by Dr. D. I was shown how to take care of her needs while she was fighting for her life. As long as I have a companion in my life I will never abandon Betsie River Veterinary Clinic, they have never let me or my companion down.

Just moved here from out of state. I was looking for a veterinarian service that would carry the special food I need for my dog and several weren't able to accommodate my request but happily Betsie River Veterinary Clinic did. They always make me feel safe and comfertable when bringing in my dog who doesn't get along well with other dogs, making sure to have the lobby cleared while I escort him to his room.. and they r so loving, they don't treat him different because of that, they just treat him as if he was their own. Very comforting to have a vet that truly cares and wants the best for ur animals.. I will never bring my pets anywhere else. Its also extremely reasonable pricing and they never try to push things on you to raise ur bill, if anything they try to help keep it down and only do what needs to be done! Both Dr. Daly and Whitney are great.. all the staff is friendly and good with my pups.

We took one of our 3 cats to see Dr Daly on an emergency basis...our normal vet was 4 hours away. I couldn't believe the time she spent with us considering not only was our animal not her regular patient but also this was her day off...the prognosis for our cat was not good and she was very empathetic and gave us all the options to help us make an informed decision. We hope to live up north on a permanent basis in the future and without a doubt she will be our regular vet. I was very impressed with the clinic and everyone that worked there!

We've had to move a few times due to being in the military and this has been by far our favorite vet! Dr. Daly and all of the receptionists and assistants are very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our pets always get amazing care and the prices are better than anywhere else we've gone to.

I've had appointments with both vets here, and they are both absolutely wonderful. My girl has had bladder stones for years and they understood my desire to not want to keep putting my baby through surgery and worked out alternative methods with me. Yesterday was not an easy day for me, finding out my baby girl now has cancer, and surgery isn't even an option in this case... The vet called me personally (didn't brush off my case onto an assistant) to tell me the test results. That alone meant the world to me. They're friendly and compassionate when it means the most. Even when my girl is gone, I'll keep bringing my other pets here. They've all been wonderful and very patient with me. Thank you to everyone at Betsie River.

Plenty of hair on the seats especially later in the day . Suggest a mid-day cleaning of the office. Also, cats need to be caged (I agree) but dogs don't seem to be which results in anxiety for many cats but the large dogs that were in the entry room were not closely restrained. I feel that staff needs to be more assertive in insisting that dogs need to be on short leashes. No leash=no service.

Dr Daly is the best! She really cares about our pets! We have several senior dogs that have a lot of (really expensive) medical care. If she isn't sure what to do, she doesn't pretend to. She has consulted specialists on our behalf and is willing to try different medications. I highly recommend her to those living in the area. My dogs are my kids, and to say that I trust her with their lives is no exaggeration.
