I’ve only recently been going to this vet but I think they are great!!!!! I have a newly adopted dog that required multiple surgeries and of course I was a nervous wreck! There was a complication with the mouth surgery but I cannot say enough about how great everyone was and still is. Anytime I called the office my concerns and questions were quickly answered by the vet!!! I highly recommend them.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. Not only a rip-off ($15/cutting pet's nails BADLY) but overcharging, taking extensive periods of time with your pet, and owner (ALY CISSE) pretends he "doesn't do the invoicing, doesn't know costs" when it's a common surgery. The staff is ill-informed, rude and for an appt. called "SICK" you're charged MORE. Total scam, plenty of vets in Bellingham. Put ONE star otherwise it wouldn't post...

Excellent doctor, clean office and friendly, efficient, knowledgeable staff! Once I had concerns about my cat while my wife was working in Boston with our only car (I'm handicapped and mobility is an issue) and the doctor got on the phone with me personally, asked me questions to determine what was probably going on with my cat and let me know that it wasn't a huge emergency and that bringing my cat in the next day would be fine. He also told me what to do for my cat in the mean time. It was such a massive weight off my shoulders. Fair warning - this practice is not cheap! In fact, it's pricier than our vet was in Norwood (and much more expensive than our vet in Weymouth/Abington), but we trust them and it's hard to put a value on that!

I have had dogs all my life and was fortunate to have the same vet. After moving, I dreaded having to take our latest dog to a new vet. I "tested out" a couple of new clinics and was not satisfied. And then I found South Bellingham Vetrinary Hospital. We are here to stay! The building is clean, prices are reasonable and, most importantly, Stella receives the professional, attentive treatment she deserves. Definitely recommend Dr. Cessay (sp?) and his team of professionals.

I brought my cat in for her annual checkup. I was told she needed her teeth cleaned, so I had him do it. She came back suffering huge effects from the anesthesia. (I've had her teeth cleaned at other vets and NEVER saw anything like this.) The doctor called me every day to see how she was doing. I was VERY impressed. She was acting odd, so I brought her back in. He did a blood test and said she had stage 3 kidney failure. He never called me again to see how she was doing. She had a blood test before the teeth cleaning and was fine. HE over anesthetized her and GAVE her the kidney failure. He had the nerve to charge me for the blood test that showed he screwed up. His original calls that impressed me were just him worried that he really messed up. Accidents happen. I get it. But showing fake caring (worrying is not caring), and not saying "I'm sorry", and making me pay him (for the blood test) for his screw up in inexcusable. With a change in her diet, I dropped her from stage 3 to stage 2, but she is now deteriorating. I was just going to let it go and not say anything, but my cat is back to stage 3 and I am now watching her slowly die thanks to him. Be VERY careful about what you let him do.

All three of our kitties are patients here! One has a prior condition that makes him prone to urinary tract infections and we have been struggling to get it resolved. Dr. Cisse has been treating him for the condition and we are in the process of trying to determine the greater cause for all the recurrences! He is always thorough, answers all our questions and takes the time to suggest treatments in your pet’s and wallet’s best interest! His office staff is also incredible, they always find time to make an appointment and we love all the people we encounter there!
