I called Riverbend because we think our cats might have fleas. Sharon answered the phone, and she was SO nice and helpful. She gave me lots of information on how to 1) tell if our cats have fleas and 2) deal with it if they do. She gave me advice on which medications to use - all without me booking an appointment or paying anything. She was terrific and gave me a great impression of this place!

Dr David Thomson Killed my niece's Dog put him under anesthesia without asking if his stomach was empty for a toe nail cutting and then gave him a dose quick wake up sent him on his way, poor thing died after vomiting all over and aspirated in Daddys arms . Dam shame there is veterinarians out there like this guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been to 4 different vets in the area looking for the one place that cares about my pup as much as I do. I found that place at Riverbend! I have been blown away by their level of professionalism, kindness, empathy and support. Doctor Thompson is one of the most well-regarded surgeons in the region. Due to his skill and knowledge, Neekay is fully recovered from her surgery 6 months later. I would never think of going to anyone else if something should ever happen again. I would like to pay a special thank you to Melinda who helped Neekay bounce back from knee surgery. She single-handedly got Neekay to do exercises I didn't think were ever possible, and even better, she got Neekay to enjoy coming into the vet again. I will be forever thankful!

We have had two excellent experiences with Dr Thompson and the Riverbend staff. We brought in two separate dogs eight years apart 2018 and 2010. ACL repair and tumor removal. We have another vet in the Valley for routine care but anything surgical we go to Riverbend.

Our dog blew her knee out. Riverbend reapaired the knee and quickly after she blew the other knee out. The surgery failed they admitted it was their fault and they tried to sell us rehab. Thinking back I think the first surgery caused the second. Our dog is still struggling years later and it’s drastically affected her and our life. They do NOT stand behind their work or surgeons. Please do not take your dog there.

Wonderful place! Dr. Thompson and his staff give the best possible care. My dog, Bear, has had 4 surgeries there and yet it's still one of his favorite places to go. He always enjoys a visit with "Uncle Dave"!
