We had to say goodbye to our family cat (Kitty)today, it was very sad because she was apart of our family for many happy years. The staff was professional and polite during our difficult time, and the veterinarian was very sweet and kind, she reassured us we were doing what was best, and it was time. I have tried other hospitals for my little guy (because of moving to different areas) and keep coming back to PVVH. The personalized care and attention me and my dog get makes my experience great every time. PVVH makes it an easy choice.

More expensive than other vets but the people are so caring and I can tell that they love animals. My cat doesn't like going to the vet but they are very gentle and genuinely care about him. Dr. Lisa is amazing!

Not a good place to take your cats. They didn't even have pheromones to help calm my anxious kitty and called her "not a very pleasant fellow". They also wanted to do an expensive surgery that turned out to be unnecessary. So glad I got a second opinion somewhere else.

When I dropped my dog off Wednesday night for boarding, I had chosen PVVH because they offered doggie daycare (dogs playing with each other). The person who asked me whether I wanted to pay extra for various services wrote down that I wanted doggie daycare for her (and therefore a bath at the end, since dogs get each other dirty). Then, when I returned after three days, I was told, "Oh, nobody told you that we don't offer doggy daycare on vacations?" So the specific thing I brought her for, and contracted for, was not offered. On the flip side, they billed me FORTY SEVEN DOLLARS for the bath. Never Again.

I've been going here for years for all of my pets. Dr Underwood remembers each of them by name and provides the best care one could hope for. She's very compassionate and yet practical and my pets appear to be very relaxed around her.

Not my regular vet. I dont even like my regular vet anymore and didnt bother even calling them. I called here instead on Saturday morning after watching my poor senior decline during the night. They got me in right away, made me feel more confident I was making the right decision and it really was.. i just needed the reassurance. They were very nice and helpful throughout my painful ordeal. And so wonderful with my dog. I am definitely switching vets for my other animals to here.

Poor practicing. Strictly all about the money. Have had my pets go there for the past 10 years. We recently noticed our pet was sick. So we went to bring him there to get help. We did everything we could. We then later brought him to the emergency vet in Deerfield where we said our goodbyes and put him to sleep. The very next day we received a letter in the mail from the emergency vet in Deerfield telling us how sorry they were. NOT ONCE, did Pioneer Valley Veterinary Hospital call or send a letter after our visit. I then called to ask as to why they never contacted us. They then replied "why would we call is we know he has deceased?" This just proves that they are strictly business and have poor customer service and poor practicing. I strongly believe they do not genuinely care about their patients and the bond owners have with them. They are strictly about the money and that is it. I will NEVER bring an animal to them again and I advise others not to either.

Dr. Underwood and staff is amazing. Willyreat you like family and the care and facility is amazing. Dr.underwood saved my cats life and was open about surgery and what do and donts and possible outcomes. Hours are flexablile and pricing is great care credit is accepted there

Just moved to the area and needed to see a vet for pet health issue. Dr. Pelletier and Caitlin were amazing tonight! Very kind, gentle sweet and very knowledgeable. Made me feel very comfortable and extra specially kind to my pet. Felt the TLC from all including Olivia at the front desk! Very happy to find a place I can’t take my pets and feel comfort.
