I love Offshore Animal Hospital. I am a year round resident and use many of their services. My dog goes to day boarding twice a week for socialization and play time. He comes home happy and tired. We use the overnight boarding when we go away. The staff is wonderful- informed, caring and welcoming. The vets are all amazing Our primary vet, Dr. Minior is caring and so knowledgeable. The other doctors are all great. My dog is very well cared for here. The whole staff is welcoming, professional and always helpful. The boarding staff are fans my dog and we are fans of them. Fabulous place.

I contacted Offshore Animal Hospital to arrange boarding for my two dogs on Monday. At their request we sent all the proper forms the same day. When I called them the day before we were to drop off the dogs, I called because I hadn’t heard back from them i.e. contract etc. The woman who answered said she never received our paperwork. I told her when it was emailed and she came back and said they did receive it but it was placed in the wrong place. They asked for a couple of additional forms that we had and emailed right away. They then asked for a form that our home vet inadvertently forgot to attach. We forwarded the email from our home vet addressing their request. Long story short, the woman called me back to say she hadn’t received our dog’s rabie’s vaccination. I told her to double check because I had sent the form. She put me on hold and came back and said she did receive it actually but it didn’t matter because they had filled up in the meantime even though they said they had plenty of space in our call prior. I expressed that was not fair since we were in the process of registering our dogs. We have been summering on Nantucket for over 30 years and this is absolutely the worst customer experience we have ever had with a kennel. They were unprofessional and unsympathetic. We are now in a serious predicament with our dogs and we are leaving for Nantucket in 18 hours. Shame on this business. We will not hesitate to let all our Nantucket families and friends know of our experience.
