I went there years ago with 2 of my pets. Switched to Ashland animal because it was more convenient. I am now back in natick. Best decision I made. Dr. Moolenbeek is the best.
So disappointed with the front office staff. Long periods of being on hold, only to be directed to leave a message during normal business hours. Most times, the front office staff cannot answer simple scheduling questions. Lots of issues with payment and phone numbers not being kept on file. The vets are great, but the frustration with the communication from the front desk has led us to leave the practice.
We've been patients of Natick Animal for over 10 years and they have taken great care of my fur baby all that time. I've never felt pressured to do something that could wait and they take time to explain why they think something may need to be done sooner rather than later. I have two other family members who now take their pets to Natick Animal. I can't say enough good things about them. Thank you!

My pets have been going to the Natick Animal Clinic and kennel (hotel) for years now. I have never had a bad experience. Everyone at the kennel really are animal lovers, and they are all very genuine and friendly. I never worry when I bring my basset hound or guinea pigs in for a stay. In fact, I do think my basset has more fun staying at the kennel with all the staff who fawn over her, versus staying at home! I know my pets are in good hands and are being well taken care of. I wouldn't bring my pets anywhere else!

The vets are prompt and professional. However, I did not appreciate my last two visits there because the front staff kept making mistakes on my bills -charging me for service I already mentioned twice to the staff that I didn't want. Even though she is not a vet, she insisted that my dog had annual check up even though I was actually in the exam room with the vet and she's just a front desk staff. Then the manager came out offered another appointment with vet tech (not vet, again, she's deciding what my dogs needs here instead of me or vet) saying I should be responsible for my dogs care which was ridiculous because I was just bringing in my dogs to get his shots on time thats all I requested for the appointment. But she kept saying all these irrelevant things to the discussion about how it's my fault because I brought in the dog instead of my sister who usually brought in the dog. Ummm we all live with this dog does it really matter if I brought in the dog. He's my dog too...I honestly don't think she had much insight as to what was going on and was only interested in their benefit. So when I came back for this vet tech appointment, the actual veterinarian came in gave all the rest of the shots and actually did annual check up. I didn't bother to waste my time to enquire why they decided to change it back to bring in vet instead of vet tech. I guess they actually realized that my dog didnt have annual check up like I told them in the first place but they really wanted to charge me for this service the last time I was there. So overall, I think front staff needs to be attentive. Also, the same front desk lady tried to charge me twice for the stool parasite test for my dog and it was taken off only when I asked her about it before handing her my credit card. I am not sure if it is same for other vets but they never sent me the result for that stool parasite test. So I called them months later and then they told me the result is not sent out unless it's positive. I work in the medical field and that was quite disturbing to hear because we would never do that to humans! can you imagine getting a mammogram done and never hearing back from the radiology dept? come on I paid nearly 40 for this stool parasite test which is high compared to other places you can find. does it really hurt your business to send a quick FYI on results. In summary, the front desk at natick animal clinic should be more attentive and honest with dog owners.
Consistently happy with the service and care we have received here over the past 10 years. They have cared for all of our pets. Dr. Moynihan is very knowledgeable and compassionate and also very practical.

We have been clients at the Natick Animal Clinic for 15 years and have received outstanding care and service every step of the way. The vets and technicians are dedicated and caring and the staf are true animal lovers. Our pets have been groomed there and stayed at the kennel numerous times and we have never had an issue or a reasonto be dissatisfied. We would reommend the clinic and "spa" without hesitation.

Rude, money-focused practice. I've had technicians laugh in my face instead of answering my questions, and have had expensive procedures pushed in my direction instead of actually assessing my dog. Took him elsewhere for procedures that are half the cost, with intelligible and thoughtful staff who actually answer questions that I have.
This experience was EXCELLENT! The doctor and her assistant were amazing. They were able to examine my very skittish cat calmly and efficiently...and I didn't have to add the stress of getting her in a carrier and take her in the car. Home visits are the way to go, especially with this staff.
Verify with them what you are paying for before you go in. Just went in for a booster, and they chose to spend 3 minutes checking the puppy's heart rate, and then charging for "an exam". Same thing happened next time I went in. I asked about it, and they said it is "standard of care" which they choose to do any additional exams during visits. Wellesley Vet Hospital is not like this, I strongly recommend them.
This place is amazing...I had to have an emergency c section for my American Bully and I tried to take her to the emergency room in Natick but they wanted 3,000$ upfront ..after I had already spent 500$ for x-rays and to induce her into labor...mind you they wanted the money before they even tried looking at my dog, knowing she was in critical condition...the next morning I frantically looked for a vet and came across Natick Animal Clinic and they are my saving angels. They wasn't worried if I could pay up front or not they said they would work with me for a payment plan....I took my little girl in and the surgeon was awesome came in and explained everything to us in a way we could understand and made us feel more at ease as to the fate of out little girl. They never pushed other tests on me and never made me feel guilty for the decision I made for my baby girl...even after surgery they called everyday for a week to ask how Minnie was doing and feeling...everyone was very nice and attentive to my baby girl. The office area as well as the back room didn't smell bad at all was nice and clean...very nice place and awesome people that work here....I highly recommend you bring your fur babies here.
It is almost always a fantastic 10/10 experience at NAC. I appreciate the fact that my pit is treated with respect and care. HONOR and I are happy campers and I recommend NAC to everyone I know.

We absolutely LOVE Natick Animal Clinic. I have been bringing my fur baby here for over 2 years and they are best in class. They treat your pet as if they were their own. They are patient, kind, responsive, and follow up post visit to check in on your pet. When my dog was involved in an incident with another dog they got her in ASAP and gave her the BEST care. We use not only their clinic but also their Four Paws Spa and Hotel which is also amazing. We travel frequently for work and sleep very well knowing Charlotte is in good hands!!

I brought my cat in for her yearly checkup/vaccinations. The appointment was easy to schedule, and they have lots weekend hours. All the staff was friendly and the vet was very thorough. My cat is very shy but the staff was excellent at making her comfortable.
I have brought my pets to NAC for years simply because they are so wonderful. I trust them with the care of my animals and to treat me like a valued customer (patient? No?). The desk staff is friendly and down-to-earth, they communicate very well and have always been willing to help me with any requests or concerns I may have. I am ALWAYS able to get an appointment at a time that works best with my schedule, for which I am incredibly grateful. I've seen a few different doctors and they have ALL been wonderful people and skilled practitioners. I've gotten invaluable advice and tips from them over the years and will continue to use NAC for as long as I have animals in my home. I would refer them to any friend or family member, even ones who live out of the Natick area. I believe it's worth it to drive to them from wherever I am. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Truly. As a side note: I read a review where someone mentioned that they felt that the vets and technicians were always trying to upsell labs or additional tests. I have to say that I am often offered additional services and the reasons for the services are fully explained to me. When that happens, I discuss all options with the vet/technician and we decide what's best for me, my pet and my budget. We decide what's necessary, what can wait and what may not be necessary for my pet. They are honest and communicate very well...I think it just comes down to being equally as honest. Have an open dialogue with the person caring for your animal and you will feel completely comfortable, and as an added bonus, your vet/technician will have a better understanding of your pet's needs and your budget and will respond accordingly.
Call to plan a visit and could not hear more than the receptionist telling me frequently: " I don't Know" with attitude. Would you please represent yourself better and if someone works at front desk and does not know the answer at least willing to be more helpful. It you are receiving patients, specifically if it is a case of emergency then your TONE matters. Be sympathetic and helpful. I DON'T KNOW should not be the answer. Figure it out please.

This is my dog's regular veterinary for checkups and yearly shots but after yesterday's visit I will be looking for another place to take her. While we were speaking with the Vet in the room I could hear one of the girl techs. First she grunted like 'uhhhgg' clearly not wanting to be there, then a dog back there made this horrible crying, whining noise like it was in pain, the vet said it was probably coming off from the anesthesia, the same girl yelled out to the dog 'shut up'! weirdly enough the dog was silent, and started whimpering a couple of minutes later. There is no way I will ever have my dog go to that back area again without me and laughed when the doc said to bring her back to have her spayed there and get blood work done. Sorry to whom ever had their dog there on 3/10

I had a great experience bring my new puppy here for the first time. The receptionist matched me with Dr. Schmidt who was very knowledgeable about German Shepherds and spent over an hour talking with me about proper puppy care, He was extremely gentle and showed care and compassion towards my dog. The entire staff was very welcoming and wonderful to interact with. The Vet fees and price were the same as the other clinics I looked into, The receipt was itemized and made it clear what I was being charged for and how much. They suggested pet insurance and strongly encouraged me to shop around for one that I felt comfortable with. They even gave me a promo code for Turpanion insurance for free 30 days coverage with no obligation to continue (they will call you to see if you want to continue coverage) The office hours are very flexible, I was surprised I was able to make an appointment on a Sat to see the Vet. I'm very happy to have brought my dog here.

Extraordinarily good vet. Dr Schmidt alway pays close attention, knows what to do, and calls the house within a few days of visit to check on my dog. He takes my calls and also initiates contact even when I'm travelling and using another vet at my travel destination. Wish I could get this kind of care from my human doctors!
We just adopted a 10 month old puppy! We were nervous and unsure because he seemed to have an infection. They were thorough and found other issues that were bugging him! They were kind and gentle... He didn't want to leave he loved the attention! I left with peace of mind
