Today we had to go through the experience that all pet owners dread - euthanizing a beloved pet. We wanted to have it done in the comfort of our home for our Golden's sake and saw the almost universally positive reviews for Dr. Sidorsky. He more than lived up to the glowing reviews, bringing grace, gentleness and compassion for both us and our dog. I highly recommend him should you find yourself in the same situation.

I have a great vet that I use for regular appointments just because they are close. However I always use Dr Sidorsky for euthanasia when the time comes. I am not comfortable ending my dogs life on a slab in a sterile environment. The professional service, compassionate care they provide is amazing and something I cherish. I never like putting any pet down but when it’s time for my dogs I feel the treatment is something I would want for myself. It’s calm compassionate and loving. Even when they don’t have a relationship with the dog.

I can't say enough about the kindness and compassion that was shown to us and our dog Lucky who needed to be put to sleep unexpectedly. They heard my dilemma and made arrangements to drive to Connecticut so that Lucky could go peacefully and with dignity at home. Compassionate and competent Vet. So much better for my large dogs than going to a building they don't like with all the chaos and noises of other animals. I cannot recommend Dr. Sidorsky enough. He was calm and spent the right amount of time with my cat, Simon. Simon was ill and was not thrilled about his visit. Dr. Sidorsky was very kind and had control of the exam. He answered my questions and has very attentive with follow up emails. He is my vet from now on.

Dr. Robert Sidorsky is the Mobile veterinarian for our area. We had called Dr. Sidorsky following the death of our cat Charley. Our regular Vet was not equipped to come to our home to assist Charley with euthanasia and taking her to the vets was not a choice as she always hated the trips for her yearly check-up. Gratefully she was able to die on her own in my arms. I remembered Dr. Sidorsky from when we lived in a different part of the county and he had a practice in a house. We loved him then and were sad to move away We have two dogs, Tico and Sophie. They are rescues and came each with their own set of problems. Earlier this year they were attacked and needed initial Emergency treatment and surgery in South Deerfield. Dr. Sidorsky is still an important member of the dogs recovery team. It is very comforting to have our pets seen in our home in their familiar surroundings. Dr. Sidorsky and his wife Linda are both special people and they understand, that our pets are family. We recently had to euthanasia our 16 year old dog Josie. The fee was a bit high, but for Josie to cross the rainbow bridge in our arms completely without stress for her was very special. Our pups and ourselves loved Dr. Sidorsky and Linda. Having two big dogs, one of them getting up there in years, makes vet visits stressful for both our furkids and ourselves. Having a traveling, knowledgeable, and compassionate vet that both dogs warmed up to immediately that was able to come and do an in home visit was beyond blissful. It was a very sad day for me and my family to realize that the time had come to say goodbye to our beloved great dane. The compassion the Sidorskys showed to our dog made this unpleasant experience much more comfortable than what I had imagined it would be. I am so glad to have found them, and I am also glad that my dogs final moments were in her home surrounded by her family.

My experience with mobile vet was amazing and wonderful. I called mobile vet because I needed help with one of my cats, whom was sick and dying. She was our daughter and we tried everything to help her with what we had. However we couldn't do more. So when we found mobile vet online we thought we would give it a try. And when we spoke to the mobile vets wife, we explained our situation. We are poor people. But we don't like to leave debts. We promised to pay debt to them and we did pay our debt to them which was very very very very important for us because people never cut us any slack and assume that we won't pay. Etheir way we paid our debt. In return the mobile vet put our daughter to rest. Put her to sleep; she had cancerous tumors inside her. We were distraught, and had no sleep because we had been keeping such a close eye on her. But we saw in our daughters eyes that she was ready to cross over to the other side. So all we could do was try to make her comfortable. When the mobile vet came in to my home, he brought with him, everything needed to examine her. Both the vet and his wife were very accommodating. They were understanding and nice. The vet was also very informative walking me through what he was doing step by step, letting me know what he was going to do before he was going to do it. I appreciated everything the mobile vet and his wife did that day. I held my daughter as he injected her with medicine to relax her first. And it was that medicine that helped her relax that sent her to the door towards the rainbow bridge. I started to feel her slip away. And as the mobile vet told me he was going to give her the last injection, he proceeded. He barley finished injecting her with the last medicine, when I felt her leave her body. But she left peacefully without pain or struggle. The mobile vet allowed me time to mourn her and hold her before they took her for me. So my experience with mobile vet was wonderful and amazing because they gave my daughter my cat a way to pass on peacefully. They also took care of her for me. They also let me pay them in a fair manner and that was helpful as well. Thank you mobile vet. I plan on seeking you out for future appointments. You're the best. You treated me with respect and kindness, with compassion and understanding, and thats all I could have asked for. Not only did they do a great job with my cats, they also recommended a better website to get their food... and it's saving me even more money than buying it directly from my old vet. Dr. Sidorsky was at a neighbor's home for a pet visit. When he left the home, I stopped to talk to him about a stray male cat I had adopted. I mentioned he was in need of vet care and I wasn't sure how he (Walter) would respond to being in a carrier. Though we did not have an appointment, Dr. Sidorsky said he might be able to fit him in for a checkup and shots. He called his next client to explain my situation, and they were fine with the delay for their appointment. He handled Walter like an old friend, and I was very impressed. Dr. Sidorsky is a wonderful and kind veterinarian and I highly recommend him.

I had an appointment to have my dog put down. (Not saying it's easy for anyone to lose a pet. But due to the circumstances it was a very hard choice for me and with telling them all the history they fully knew it was.) They called me the night before to cancel. They did not say sorry and they did not give me information on anyone else who could help. (I have the voice mail saved.) I fully understand that emergencies happen. However to not even apologize or refer me to another mobile vet was very uncaring, rude, and unprofessional. The lack of compassion (that they guarantee) is what upset me. I did not even get a follow up call when they were back to make sure everything was ok. (I truly feel that they knew they were wrong in the way they handled this so they did not call me back.)

I have been using Mobile Vet of Western MA since early Spring of 2016 or so for my two senior cats and young shihtzu dog. Unfortunately one of my cats started showing signs of congestive heart failure that Dr. Sidorsky (Richard) clued me into. I took her to the hospital for a full round of tests on his recommendation which confirmed it. She was put on medication and Richard was always more than happy to answer my questions about her treatment regiment afterwards. He never sugar coated the truth of her prognosis which was indeed grim but with medication she was comfortable and happy. While she was being treated my other cat suddenly developed a much worse case of congestive heart failure seemingly out of nowhere. They were littermates so genetics certainly played a role. I had no choice but to rush him to the vet ER where ultimately he would not recover and I had to put him to rest. When I told Richard via email he was sincerely sorry to hear the news. My girl cat trucked on with medication for about 3 more months when she really began to deteriorate and the meds seemed to stop helping. I set an appointment for a friday with Richard to put her to rest at home but as the week progressed she actually got very bad on Thursday. I called them to see if they could come that day on short notice and they made it fit into their schedule. The process was very peaceful and gentle. Especially as I had just recently had to put her brother to sleep at the hospital which was not peaceful at all and honestly traumatic. Linda and Richard are not just good vets, they are fantastic people. I would recommend them to anyone who hates the trauma of loading their pet into the car and sitting in a vet waiting room. Their cost of service I have found is not much different and they are able to do a wide array of services considering the mobile element of their business. They were even able to take blood and send it to a lab where I later got a complete report. I will be using their service for my dog ongoing.

Dr. Sadorsky, our Mobile Vet, came to our home, a very calming presence at a difficult time. We took care of payment and signatures at the very beginning. In hindsight, it was a thoughtful gesture as he knew we’d be emotional at the end. He had led us to his website prior to his visit which really helped us with ways of talking about and explaining euthanasia to our kids. With the help of his website, we felt we had prepared as best we could for the Zoe’s death. He asked if we had questions, and explained what would happen, what to expect, and how our beloved 12 yr old boxer, Zoe, would hopefully feel. We were on the floor with Zoe on our laps, all of us surrounding her, and he knelt and joined us, gave us a few moments, and when waited till we were ready. When it was over, he spoke a couple words -almost prayer like-to himself...like between he and Zoe, and was kind enough to show himself out as we were all stroking her and full of tears. Weeks later, we received a personalized, hand written sympathy note from Dr Sadorsky. He came highly recommended by many in the hill towns and I whole heartily stand with those recommendations as well. A man of respect, kindness, compassion and an understanding for the depth of love we feel for our four legged companions and the pain and angst when we have to decide to when to give them a peaceful end. My family is absolutely disappointed and discussed by the heartless actions of this place. I made an appointment for our 12 week old puppy to receive his 2nd shots and when this "vet" arrived to my home I had come to realize something was wrong with our little guy. Was unable to get him vaccinated due to him showing signs of having siezures. Had to rush him to the vet emergency room for treatment. We thought we were loosing him. Our hearts were breaking. This "mobile vet" not only did absolutely nothing which I understand him not being able to help Still charged us $130 for walking in our door knowing we were having to rush to the hospital. We still don't know exactly what is causing the siezures but he is on medication until we are able to afford the full blood work up.

We were very happy with the service of the mobile vet to our house on such a short notice for our elderly dog who has trouble walking and was doing so well. This worked out perfectly because we didn't have to drag her out of the house and make her walk, they came to us in the privacy of our own home. I highly recommend this vet/service. Last week, when our 19 year old female cat Camille was showing signs of another bladder/kidney infection, I called, only to find that the Sidorsky's were on vacation. I left a message, which I expected to have returned on the day of their return, but instead I was called while they were still away, to my surprise and pleasure. We agreed on a good time for a visit and Dr. Sidorsky was there just when he said he'd be. Camille was exposed to some indignities (from her point of view), but Kevin and I were once again very very pleased with the thorough and compassionate exam and treatment she received and the follow-up advice we were given.
