Steer clear of this place! They almost killed my dog. The FDA issued a warning about Credelio causing seizures on Sept 21st, 2018. Four months later they gave it to my dog! Immediately she started having diarrhea but I didn’t connect the two. Then she started having seizures and the second one she stopped breathing in my arms. After I got back from the emergency Vet, I started to do research. When I called them to find out the name of the medication I also found out they gave her TWICE the amount for her weight! My dog is 76 pounds and they gave her a dose for a 100lb dog. This is clearly medical malpractice to gave prescribed a dangerous drug and also too much of it! I would like to remove their Cornell diploma and run it through the shredder. These people belong in jail!

I wish I could give a one star rating. This place is full of thieves. Took my dog in payed hundred me of dollars to have x rays and tests run only for them to say they may see something in her stomach but not sure. Only for her to pass away 2 weeks later. This people are evil. And only care about the money.

great place for your pets medical needs. This place is like family they truly love animals. I brought my pug in for shots and she was very scared. They did an excellent job giving her her shots and were fast too. No reactions at all. Thank you Johnson vet for providing outstanding service. Great grooming facility. A few rooms with half doors in the grooming area so your pup doesn’t have to wait in a cage. All the pups are given a blanket or bed to sit on too. Very low stress atmosphere for your pup during the grooming process. Pup gets a bandana or bow and a picture when they go home to share with your family and friends. Daycare dogs have a blast here and love coming every day. Large indoor area where they are supervised the whole time by caring staff. Not over crowded and play groups are hand selected by the staff that know what they are doing. Lots of toys too.

My owner took me to this Vet and they nearly killed me. They did not warn her about a dangerous drug called Credelio and the FDA warnings about it. They gave me too much, two pills for a 100lb dog and I only weigh 76 pounds. I started out with bad diarrhea and didn’t know why I was so sick. Then I had seizures, and stopped breathing in my owners arms, my mommy was in tears and rushed me to the emergency. When she called Johnson back, they didn’t care and told my owner to call the drug company! Then they hung up on her. They almost killed me, so do not trust them with your animals. They are not honest and forthcoming because they’re on the side of Big Pharma. They don’t have your pets best interest at hear and could easily kill your pet like they tried to murder me. I might never be the same again since they caused me neurological problems for life. I was a happy and healthy dog prior to this but I’m thankful to still be alive!

When I scheduled my cat’s sanitary clip, which required sedation and drop-off, I asked the total cost. I was told $175. I even made them specifically clarify that this included all charges for the visit. When I showed up for the appointment on Nov 8, 2018, I was given a sheet to sign agreeing to pay $336. I walked out and will never go back. It’s a traumatic ordeal for Coco being forced into her carrier, and this type of bait-and-switch pratice needs to be called out.

I think Johnson Vets are the best vets around. I appreciate their pragmatism Have been going to Johnson Vet for last two dogs. First one lived to at least 13 years. He was put to sleep at Johnson’s, the vets and staff are also grief counselors. I’ll never forget their compassion. Current dog is nearing 10...so I guess I’ve been with them for 20 years!?! They have always given me at least two options of care: wait and see or explore deeper. We always go the wait and see, and so far, we’ve been lucky. Not to say they haven’t diagnosed a few real problems, they have, and they have always followed up. Very professional, kind, and a fun vet to go to. After seeing family members spend thousands on their dogs, I’m so glad to have found this old school place. I recommend them to everyone. (Any negative reviews, I’m guessing the customer made their own choice ). Very reasonably priced, remember, owning pets is expensive!

I took my cat Tommy here for 5-6 years. Always did an excellent job. Recently had to put him down and they were the kindest, as always. Just an overall positive experience out of a heartbreaking situation. I’ll always use them as my veterinarian of choice.

Very disappointed in my experience, received a range in pricing for a procedure, and I can understand a price increase due to unforeseen circumstances, however my quoted price went up 4 different occations, including 3 times the day of the procedure, and nothing outside of the scope of the agreed procedure took place. This eventually became almost 2.5x the original range of pricing. The response I received to this was “Sorry I’ll talk to the girls about how we quote things”. Unacceptable and amateur like business practice.
