They are the best. Having gone through the process of loss of a dog with them and now having brought in my new adoptee for his first visit, they are always kind, thorough and competent. Highest recommendation.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. I had experienced their general Rudeness and snobbiness a few times before. I thought perhaps it was just uptight professionalism. WHOA, was I wrong? I had also heard repeated rumors of cost rigging, disregard and poor care from friends in Williamstown and North Adams prior to this and now I GET IT. On top of being uptight and expensive their greed and disregard left my dog at risk and sick over the weekend. First, I was refused a standard prescription for my dog (already patient) urinary tract infection unless I brought her in (Paid FOR VISIT) to see the doctor. This is a standard phone call at ALL other vets, doctors and caregivers. This is after a misdiagnosis of symptoms of Allergies on my last visit. So this was their SECOND CHANCE. The staff was rude when I brought this to their attention. Overall they are very cold and focused on the money. If you desire compassion, professionalism or just basic decency, take your pets elsewhere.

The folks at Mt. Greylock are competent, friendly, and very caring. We have been taking our beloved pets to Mt. Greylock for over a decade, and always have received excellent care and service. One thing I particularly value about the Mt. Greylock Staff is that they follow up with us regarding how our pet is doing after a procedure. Nearly two years ago, we lost our Great Dane of 11 years. Of course we were devastated. Not only did we receive a consoling phone call, but a sympathy card arrived days later with the most beautiful poem. These compassionate gestures truly eased the pain of her passing. I highly recommend Mt. Greylock!!!!!

They had a specialist come in. A heart specialist. Magically, tons of animals suddenly needed a heart specialist. They looked at my cat. Told me she was fine. In and out in 15 minutes. Charged me $350. Total cons. They pull on your heartstrings and manipulate your money out of you. Ill never go back.

My mother in law called on sept 8th about her dog Bailey, he was acting very sick & uncomfortable. They told her that they were busy & they couldn’t see him. She called me & told me what he was doing & I told her to bring him down there they have to see him he’s very sick & it is there client. So she did,& I met her there. The vet looked at him not for long & said he would need an X-ray but there’s was not working. They told us to go to Latham ny but then they got it working. So they took an X-ray & said he has air in his stomach. We asked if it was bad they said no. I new if the twisted gut got worse we would not have a lot of time to get him there & the vet knew that too. Why didn’t they do more for him at that moment? Gave her meds to help & said to call if it got worse in a couple hours. One of the meds made him sleep for 5 hrs. When he woke he was very very ill. So they called again & again. No answer. He died at home with them. A terrible way to dye. She brought him the next day with my husband there. Of coarse she was very upset. That was a family member to them. The hospital has not contacted her in any way to talk to her about it or even to say how sorry they are!!!! That is so unprofessional. My mother in law has been a dedicated customer of Greylock hospital for a long time. You should be ashamed not being human to your customer......

My dog unfortunately had to be taken here for an emergency visit. They were very kind, I was expecting the price to be much higher than it was. My dog hates vets, and her experience here was no different but they were very accommodating with her discomfort and tried to make it the best experience it could be for her. If I were to have a permanent vet I would likely do more research but considering the circumstance I was very please with their work.

When Duncan was sick and I was down on my options I contacted this hospital. They got me in within 30 minutes and was able to help ease my worries with the black puggie. Happy overall and Duncan was invited to be a patient. Needless to say - they won me and the little guy over, Ill continue to utilize their services

We LOVE the care our fur babies have received for over 20 years. We have experienced top notch surgical procedures from Dr Blake over the years, care from most of other vets in an emergency, and an excellent front end staff. Our travel there is about 30 minutes, but despite having other vets in our area, it is so worth it for the care they receive!!

Everything else is seriously great there but try and get an appointment with anyone other than Dr. Jones. Love the staff, especially Dr. Blake, but Jones really has no idea what she's doing and thinks the same of the people walking in her door.

Amazingly caring vets and vet techs. I had to bring my dog in for vertigo. While other vets said he should be put down, the doctor there gave him some meds and it cleared right up. I will never go to another vet. Not only are the vet techs amazingly caring, they are very knowledgeable too. Cheers to these guys.

Heather Blake is the best vet I've found for my furbabies! She always makes sure my Benny is ok and has been super helpful through his diabeties diag. Everyone is caring and really shows they are there because they actually care. This is 40 min from my house and 100% worth the drive

Always ask about how much they charge whatever they do. Was there to update vaccine treatment and also thought my dog could get a quick nail trim for free coz my dog stays calm and still thus should be a very easy job for them. took the tech only less than 2mins to trim all nails from all paws. Cost $18!!! Exorbitant charges.

Wonderful facility! Immaculately clean and the staff are top-notch. Stephanie is great... she helped me through a very tough time when I had to bring my poor old kitty down for some special medicine to help her passing... it was one of the hardest things I've ever went through but their courtesy, kindness and understanding (as well as genuine concern) made that terrible day a bit easier. Since then, our new kittens almost look forward to going to the vet - shots or not!

These people who are complaining about charges: I don't know what decade or century you're living in, but you're out of whack. This is a great hospital, and when they find it's TRULY necessary, they take the time to do things right. And if your pet's bills are so upsetting, you probably shouldn't have any. Would you care if they charged a little extra to be sure about your kid's heart or anything else? Because that's the way you'd better see it. We live in a new time: these are sentient beings, who deserve good care whatever it costs.

We have been using Greylock Animal Hospital since 1989 with many dogs from Labs to Gret Pyrs being very well cared for by their most capable and dedicated staff. We have even been driving 2 hours from our retirement home in Vermont for appointments the last 5 years. Worth the trip! You could not ask for a better facility in Western Massachusetts at which to obtain your pet's veterinary needs. An enthusiastic two paws up recommendation!

No amount of money could bring me a half inch to bringing my new pup here, first off when asking simple questions like How much does it cost to have my female dog fixed, instead of getting a directed answer I got all the information except for the one question i asked, and i got aggervated and said why tell me things that dont even apply to my question, well- she asked to put me on a brief one minute hold, well thanks to her ignorance i was on hold for exactly 14 mins 09 seconds. They only care about the money, sorry but never ever will i go there. A friend of mine brought her two dogs in for shots, i was in the examination room- they tried sucking her out of more than them getting their shots, its only fair enough to say they wont make a penny of me, i dont mind spending top dollar on my furbaby, but i do mind it a great deal when a simple question of the cost i cant even get that answered she never even told ne, in fact after my 14 minute hold she said to call back later in the week to schedule an appointment to get her fixed hmmmm..incompetent! Yet i call north county and they answered my question without saying anything more than that. So my baby will go to north county

The ONLY Vets that I will let l use. I committed make the long ish drive cause they ARE worth it. I can't even remember all the crisises they have brought us through. I have had many blessed doggies in my care. They have loved them through many years. I have a special Vet there, who does acupuncture and Oriental or Homeopathic medicine when needed, gently, goes the extra mile and whom I truly value and completely trust. Over priced con artists. Make sure you ask what the prices are before you do amytging. They charged me $350 For 15 minutes. They want double what any other place charges. And if you bring up that point they guilt you saying you should have thought of that before getting a pet. Rediculous.
