The guys are the absolute BEST. If I could give more than five stars, I would. We switched over from Danvers Animal Hospital after our resident vet left and there service went downhill, and I wish I had known about them sooner. Rachel, Dr. G, and all of the techs and staff are an absolute dream. They are so attentive and genuinely care about your pet which is so comforting and refreshing. Keep up the great work Farms Vet team!!

Incredibly knowledgeable vets and helpful supporting staff. Brought my cat here when he had some nasty parasites and they fit him in on short notice and provided exceptional care and tips to keep him healthy in the future. Prices are reasonable, and you can get icecream from a stand right outside during the summer months (it's a different business but it's all about location right?).

We have been a loyal customer of this practice for over 14 years, and never had a proble With Dr. Pollard, but the new female Doctor that took over the practice is terrible.. Last July my older cat was not eating much but her belly was getting bigger and bigger..We took her in and for $90 the female vet that replaced Dr.Pollard told me that that all was well and this is normal for older cats and did nothing. Well my cat kept getting worse so a few days later I called news and tried to make an appointment. She said it didn't sound good, but they were too busy to see her and told me to go somewhere else! I took her to Danvers animal hospital and they said ( after a 15 minute checkup) that there was nothing they could and it was best to put her down before she got any worse. They were also shocked that no blood tests were done the at the last checkup, and at the complete lack of compassion in refusing to see a 14 year patient for probable end of life care. I will never set foot in The Farms Veterinary Clinic again. SHAMEFUL! I was unfortunately reminded of this last week when a friend told me she brought her dog into this same clinic for a neutering... they almost killed the dog and ended up with $5000 worth of emergency medical bills when they brought the dog elseware to save its life. BEWARE!

I've had many dogs in my life and there's no other veterinary Clinic that I would trust my dog's life to. Top Notch staff and doctors.

Dr Watson is an incredible Veterinarian. I have worked with many veterinarians and worked at many hospitals but none that existed in such a loving environment centered around our care for pets and our passion for educating clients to care for them.

We have been bringing our dogs to Farms for several years now. We absolutely love Dr Watson! She is amazing and companionate with our dogs (and us concerned humans!) and extremely knowledgeable in caring for them. Always willing to answer a question and give advice. Rachel and all the staff have been nothing but wonderful over the years. This is a place that truly loves animals and it shows. We moved out of the Farms years ago but will never consider changing veterinary practices!

Awesome staff!!

I first met Dr. Watson when I rushed my 14 year old dog to the clinic in respiratory distress. They sprung into immediate action, stabilizing him and allowing him to live his last months comfortably at home. Since then we have welcomed a new puppy into our home. He wasn't very healthy when we picked him up. Dr. Watson and her amazing team (huge shout out to Steven!!! He's the best) have provided superb care to nurse him back to health. They are available by phone to answer questions, never make you feel rushed and are very accommodating with appointments. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Dr. Meaney is a wonderful, caring vet. I have had two very sick animals since my pets have been under her care. She is compassionate about her patients and their treatments, without pushing options that would make my animals suffer and only give them briefly longer lives. I believe in Quality over Quantity and so does Dr. Meaney.

We've been clients at Farms Veterinary Clinic with our Welsh Terrier, Pippa, for five years and have nothing but good things to say about the veterinary care and support we've received. We really like the heads-up texts and emails we get periodically to remind us when Pippa needs shots, heart worm pills, flea protection, etc etc. We've traveled to Argentina with Pippa and the veterinary advice from Farms regarding regulations and referrals we needed to make the trip were spot on. In our experience, Farms is a business that goes above and beyond the minimum when it comes to caring for pets. They combine veterinary professionalism with caring skills and we can highly recommend them. Five stars out of five!!

Our 2 dogs and 2 cats (along with others that come through our home now and then) receive incredible care at Farms Vet. Dr. Watson is our primary vet and we have also have had appointments with Dr. G. They both are very thorough and are articulate in explaining your pet's needs. Everyone at this practice is friendly and caring and obviously love all animals. Most importantly, they all know what they are doing. From the moment you walk in the door you can feel you have come to the right place. I highly recommend Farms Veterinary Clinic for your pets.

Meaney is HORRIBLE!!! Dr. Pollock was THE BEST!!! It seems that the majority of DOG owners have had good experiences with her. For us, we brought our three cats to Dr. Pollock for years, and then, he retired. One of our cats got an ear infection. We brought him in. Meaney's assistant grabbed him by the neck and forced the side of his face down on the table - right in front of my wife and I. Our cat whimpered and we have NEVER had that happen before. Meaney dug in his ear very roughly. She said she'd do a test to figure out what antibiotic we would need but could put him on a general one in the mean time. We agreed. She said "How are you guys with pills?" We said "Okay, it's not always easy, but we can do it." Then she said "Don't worry, I've got a shot that I can give him that will last 14 days and you won't have to worry about it." That seemed really extreme to us. Before we could object she took off into the back room, came back with the syringe and gave him the shot. Neither of us felt this was the right thing to do, and we didn't like how he was treated. We decided to get a second opinion. We asked the next vet about this shot and they said "I haven't given that shot in 20 years because it's been linked to possible cancer in cats." Meaney gave our cat that shot in January of 2012, he was 11.38 lbs. By November 2012, he was 9.33 lbs. He was diagnosed with cancer. He is now 6.2 lbs. We have spent more than $10,000.00 (at our new vet's and a referral hospital) since last November diagnosing, medicating, blood tests, biopsies, extra check ups, etc. It's just not fair. I sincerely hate this woman. She should NOT be a veterinarian. Cat owners - STAY AWAY!!!

Toby Schine

The vet and team were wonderful - they were able to diagnose what had been a chronic issue (mis diagnosed by two other veterinarians in the area, and heal our issue within days. The team was courteous, caring and clearly everyone LOVED animals. Highly recommend, if you are looking for smart, caring people to take good care of your pet.
