In response to yours: regarding ONYX -It wasnt a doctor that diagnosed at your facility it was a Technician that he was seen by. -Did not diagnos Corneal Ulcer she diagnosed Corneal Abrasion totally different. I have your diagnosis in paper work and I have the hospitals diagnosis in paper work. I can attach those images as well soon to come. He was prescribed drops which can be used to treat ulcer as well with needed antibiotics. She stated it was just a scratch and would be fine within a few days. -She gave a distemper shot which was not crucial to his condition. She persisted that he needed it and did not give the option to have it given at a later time. Which in his case could of waited until next visit. - We paid $100 which what we were quoted for was for visit and any medications not for shots. And the 31$ was to be paid by follow up at his appointment for today. We have paid everytime we were seen there at your office. And why would we pay a discount fee for a recheck emergency when you never gave the right prescription the first time? We do pay our bills hence we took him to a hospital and paid 300$ for the correct diagnosis vs just going back Onyx is very loved. He was a rescued kitten. Was bottle fed by us. Has already been through so much at only 4 months old.. Most people would of given up on him day 1. We take from other bills to pay for his vet bills just so that he is a happy and healthy kitten and gets the life he deserves. We do right by him as he can not speak. He is family to us and is not just a kitten. He is like our child. I have 3 children and the same I would do for them is what I would do for him. We did not neglect to bring him in at the first sign that something was wrong though we cannot detect what the issues are that is your job. We entrusted in your knowledge. Your 131 is costing us far more. Do you realize his whole eye is damaged? He will never see from that eye again? He needs a surgery to have an eye removed? He is going to have 1 eye the rest of his life? I think that's pretty major and pretty hard to deal with....

Absolutely horrible and illegally gave my cat all kinds of injections without my consent in the back room to then charge me nearly 400 dollars for unwanted treatment and drugs which had nothing to do with my cats illness. I took my cat who was suffering from a reaction to his food (unknown at the time) to Fall River animal hospital, they did bloodwork but could not figure out anything so gave antibiotics at first which made it worse and when I went back to have him looked at again I told them to talk to me about anything they were going to do to him. I had granted permission for 1 x-ray and they took him in the back room and gave him several injections which made him swell up badly. I only figured out what was done when they charged me nearly 400 dollars. I okayed 1 X-ray and they did not listen then made me pay for the drugs they gave without consent which of course I was already upset that they had even injected into him without knowing his ailment. He looked so much worse after bringing him here, I had one appointment with another vet and they were amazing. Do yourself a favor and find a different vet, trust me.

These are the nicest people I've ever met. Had to put my most beloved beagle to rest here a few weeks ago. As terribly unpleasant a visit as it was they were incredibly patient and gracious. They gave me as much time after as I needed to collect myself, and I did need time. Incredibly kind people. Highly recommend. Even the other patrons were so kind as to sit with me, a perfect stranger, and console me. Can't say enough good things about this establishment.

This place is terrible ! Dont bring your pets here. I brought my cat to be neutered but he only had one descended testicle so the Doctor said he could remove that one but doesnt know where the other one is... ok... so he did the procedure and my cat was fine, when I went to bring him to a different vet who could find remove the other one he asked me to call the old vets office and ask which side he removed. So I called and the Doctor said he DIDNT KNOW and stated "I think it's the left" what do you mean you dont know, dont you document these things in the animals chart !?!?! So when I went back to my new vet and told him " he thinks it's the left" he looked at me like I was kidding and said that he will do the right side hoping that the other vet was right, because if not my cat will have to be opened twice and be in double pain.... well wouldnt you know the doctor at FR ANIMAL HOSPTAIL was wrong. What a shock. Never again will I bring my pet their or let anyone I know go here.

Service was good, the doctor gave my kitten her distemper vaccine quickly and smoothly, and she felt no pain, but it was very expensive. I cannot afford to do all of my baby's rounds of shots here, I will be finishing her shots and getting her spayed somewhere SPCA funded so I am not spending too much. They also constantly reschedule her appointments, and I don't know what that is about. I don't get how I can have a date and time reserved for her, and then the day before the appointment they call to confirm, and then just a few hours before the appointment they call to make it a week later. I am only sixteen, I cannot afford to be holding nearly 200 dollars for weeks on end, when I have other things my money needs to go to. I can't keep postponing plans with people just because I need to save my money for my kitten. I will be taking her elsewhere from now on for her appointments.

I've had some OK experiences at FRAH. I've seen some good vets there. However, when you get the 'not so good' vets it is costing you your pets health. Many problems my cat had were completely ignored and only came to light when I brought him elsewhere.

Staff is friendly and kind. Always come here for vet appts and the surgery my dog needed 2 years ago that saved her life. We thought she had a bad cold because she was sneezing and her nose was running. Then one day she got very sluggish and wasn't eating or drinking anything and just wasn't herself so we took her in. She had a bad infection in her uterus and they told us if we hadn't brought her in that night she would've been gone by the morning. Kudos to them for saving my baby. They're always right on the mark. Definitely 5 stars and would recommend them to anyone.

We spent $700+ for the doctors to tell us our cat was fine and just had a little cold from an infection in her mouth due to teeth needing to be pulled. We could not pull the teeth until the infection and cold went down so she needed to be put on antibiotics. Just ten days after our visit here, we decided to go elsewhere because she wasn't getting any better on any antibiotics given even after spending all that money. Right on the spot just by looking in my cat's mouth with no other information the other vet told us it was cancer and in fact had nothing to do with her teeth. If we had stayed at fall river animal hospital we would have spent another $600+ to get her teeth pulled just for her to continue being sick because it wasn't even her teeth causing the problem. The vet at this other clinic did not need your diagnostics to diagnosis my cat as to what you replied to my brother. They simply looked in her mouth, saw the growth in her mouth which they said was NOT an abscess per what you told us it was, and that by the purplish color and lumpy structure that it was most likely cancer. JUST BY LOOKING AT IT. We then decided to biopsy it and found out it was melignant. They did not need the diagnostics of the blood tests you took to tell us this. We could have saved ourselves almost a thousand dollars if we had just gone to this other place to begin with. My cat went from "being fine and just having a little cold" as to what you told me TWICE during two different visits, to now being put to sleep just TEN DAYS after seeing you guys. So thank you for the misinformation.

Dr. Silvera and the crew at Fall River animal Hospital are absolutely one of the best group of people. Professional and caring and good people all around. I highly recommend him to all my friends. The only vet I trust with my English bulldogs. Absolutely one of the best around.

I have been coming to this vet for years, and I have no complaints. They saved my cat years ago from a stroke. The staff here is amazing and kind. Everyone is very helpful and understanding. When my dog (bella c.) went in for surgery they sat me down and explained everything thoroughly, even giving me a number to call in case they were closed and I needed to speak to a doctor asap. Nothing but good things here.

Pretty awful. I called and asked them for a fee on a checkup and then i called 2 min later to see if I can come in. I was put on hold until my dad used his phone to call and the unprofessional receptionist immediately answered the call. What a wonderful experience. I have two Bulldogs winston and bella they are my world ,winston parents go here so I gave a try and loved fall river animal hospital from the start .and bella followed and goes there too.From the doctor to the staff I have no complaints very helpful to my pets needs both where spade and neutered very satisfied with the surgery just recently bella wasn't walking right we called and they took us right in they checked her and a cray was done got some meds and bella walking fine
