If your looking for friendly knowledgeable people DO NOT GO HERE!! Walk through the doors to an empty unkept room and not even be acknowledged by the Nasty receptionist. Dr. Seemed to be reading a script and boy do you really feel unwelcome when not one person even can make Eye contact with a human. Not one person explains anything or followes up their own follow up. Also very expensive compared to others.

We brought our new puppy to DeWitt Animal Hospital in Plainville, MA. Between first checkups, vaccinations, and boosters we have been there a lot over the last month and I have to say the staff there has made it all such a pleasant experience! Between the front desk, the vets, and the AWESOME techs you can feel the passion they have for animals! They are all so friendly , compassionate, and knowledgeable about pets!!! You can tell they are listening and are always willing to offer friendly advice to help you help your fur baby!!

We recently lost our 15+ "best friend" Gracie. The staff at Dewitt Animal Hospital was so professional and caring. Dr Craig Hill assured us that were indeed doing the right thing. He explained everything to us making sure we knew how the procedure was going to happen. Techs Nicole an Kristen showed nothing but compassion. Kathy McLacken was awesome. No one rushed us through the procedure. We got to hold Gracie for as long as we felt we needed. The Dewitt family made a horrible day just a little bit easier.

My Family has been using Dewitt for years and years since they were in Attleboro. We have never had anything but pleasant experiences there. I find they are most pleasant when it is needed the most, and that has been when our animals have been sick or worst case needing to be put down. The doctors there are very competent especially Doctor Hill. The women behind the counter are always very inviting and always remember a face especially my dogs. The vet techs are also very knowledgeable. I would recommend Dewitt to anyone and everyone!

Usually absolutely first rate. Brought my previous dog there for 14 years... Always take great care. Recently my new puppy needed to take work medication for 3 days. Well, day 1 she wouldn't eat the medication with her food. Called Dewitt and they were very nice and said I could pick up another packet. My original cost was $17, for the 3 packets. I went in to get the 1 packet thinking I would pay $6 or $7. They charged me almost $14 for 1 packet. When I questioned the fee, the response was; "It's a packaging fee, there's no way around it." A bit disappointing. As a whole though Dewitt is usually a first rate place to take your pet. Just a one off experience. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Staff is always very good to deal with.

If I could leave a review with no stars I would. I was referred here and figured I would give it a shot thinking nowhere could be worse than Banfield. Sadly, I was wrong. My appointment, which was about 30 minutes late, was with Dr Bruce Hill, the owner of the practice. I have a very anxious/nervous dog and he did handle her nicely and that was the only positive. She required refills of a medication which I discussed with him during the exam and he said it was OK to order it online and they would have no problem filling out the prescription paperwork that the online pharmacy would fax over (standard policy for online pharmacies). After five phone calls back and forth between the pharmacy and the vet's office the next day, I learned that Dewitt doesn't fill prescriptions from online pharmacies - you'd think the OWNER OF THE CLINIC would have mentioned that during our conversation during my dog's exam the day earlier. The office manager was completely useless, the front desk staff generally uncaring and unhelpful, and absolutely nobody had any sense of urgency. Quite frankly I have no idea how this place is still in business as clearly they don't care about their clients. - Updated - Just spoke to Dr Hill who was upset about receiving a less than stellar review and thus has decided to withhold medication from my dog for that reason. I would have been happy to change my review if we had had been able to work together towards a more positive solution, but his actions further prove that he has no interest in the animal's welfare or working with clients.

About 5 years ago, we used to take our dog to DeWitt's. The staff was unfriendly and seemed to care more about the monetary benefits than clients' pets. I specifically remember an instance when we brought our dog in for a wellness exam. Dr. Jen McNulty was seeing him that day. She was clearly afraid of him, granted he is a big dog and can be intimidating, but that is no excuse. She got so frustrated with him because he would not cooperate while she took his temperature. She scoffed and made a disgusted face. Our dog was so nervous that he ended up urinating on the table twice. He has never done that before. It was clearly because she was not handling him well. DeWitt's sucks. If you love your pet like family, on't take your pet there.

From day one, with our very first emergency appointment, they have been nothing less than amazing and compassionate. They fully answer any and all questions, and offer an array of treatment options. They have supported us, through sick and well visits ensuring that the health of our pets is always priority one. They work closely as team in resolving health issues when they arise. I have received phone calls from the Drs. and staff at Dewitt following up on sick visits to make sure their patient is doing well. They have offered tremendous guidance in helping me cope with a behaviorally challenged dog, and I have not hesitated to recommend then to any and all, whenever I have had the opportunity.

I have a 5 year old Australian Cattle Dog who has been incredibly anxious and nervous since she was born. She isn’t very good with people she doesn’t know, and usually needs a muzzle at the vet just to make everyone feel a bit better. I took her to Dewitt, after desperately needing to leave our old vet who didn’t know how to handle her, with a sore next to her mouth we were concerned about. Obviously because of where the issue was, we couldn’t use a muzzle, so I was quite nervous. All of the staff at Dewitt understood immediately my concerns, and the nervousness of my dog, and did everything they could to make her comfortable. They treated her so well, and took all of her needs into consideration to make her feel as calm as possible. By the end of the trip, my dog was smiling and seemed like she had made friends with the staff. I would like to specifically shout out to Nicole who was so incredible with my dog that I was amazed. I now never need to feel nervous going to the vet, and hopefully now my dog will see it as a positive experience!

My dog was accidentally hit by a car yesterday and some sweet bystander drove my dog and me here to see if he could be saved! Unfortunately, my dog Remy was gone! The entire staff tried to do everything!! They were professional and compassionate! Remy wasn't even a patient!!!!!! I was so impressed with so many strangers that jumped in without hesitation to do the "right" thing! And these vets tried to save my dog. No questions asked about money! I was very impressed with their care!!!!! I was even able to take him home and bury him in my beautiful Garden!
