Dr. Levitt is the absolute best! He is thorough and really cares. I was blown away not only by his care knowledge but by how many times he called and followed up. Way above and beyond.

Dr. Eichler and staff are knowledgeable, compassionate, and just want the gold standard best for all the animals they see. My family and I have been clients for over 10 years now and we know our pets are in good hands at Community Animal Hospital.

The folks at Community Animal Hospital have been great at keeping us in the loop, with one vet (Dr. Selleck) spearheading their care. She has spent the time to get to know our animals and their particular issues.

I highly recommend this animal hospital. I have had 2 cats treated here and have had a good experience with both. Both cats have since died at ripe old ages (17 and 20) and the staff was so kind to both me and my cats. They did not push unnecessary treatments but made sure my kitties were supported in their old age. When they reached end of life the staff was extremely kind and empathetic. I cannot say enough good about the entire staff I interacted with over the years. I have sent friends here for their animals and will continue to. Thank you Dr. Morana for this hospital.

The staff were all wonderful when I had to put my wonderful 4 y/o cats down due to an untreatable tumor. They made what was for me one the my worst days into a day not just of sorrow but also of kindness, compassion, and support. A wonderful clinic with a superlative team. You could not find a better veterinary clinic.

I have always had great experiences with Community Animal Hospital. They treat all of their pets as if they were humans.

I wish that I could give 10 stars. Our dogs have been patients of Dr. Shari and her staff for 20 years. In all that time, we have received clear, concise information that informs the healthcare decisions for our pets. It is clear that the doctors at CAH are almost as invested in the decisions as we are. We have left other vets where we felt that the motivation was financial. The dogs feel it too. They all run out of the parking lot and into the office to visit their friends.

Sybil Conley

When I rescued my dog she was afraid of everything. She also needed a lot of physical help The doctors and the pet spa have been amazing! My dog is still has difficulty with bathing and her nails. As a matter of fact they are still the ONLY ones that can drummel her nails!

Kris Augustynski

All the staff here are so wonderfully caring and compassionate for all of our fur babies!

There is no better place to bring your pet than Community Animal Hospital! The doctors there are extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and go ABOVE AND BEYOND to care for your pets. I have three dogs that all are seen there and they have had issues from cancerous lumps to eye ulcers and the care that my dogs receive from the vets there is just great. I would HIGHLY recommend them. I also am the co-director of a dog rescue and the vets here have seen several of our rescue dogs and again, the best care ever!

If I could, I’d give Community Animal Hospital TEN stars from our recent experience there. Let me preface to say that we brought our dog there for a second opinion of a knee surgery from a torn ligament. The first impression was positive as the friendly front desk person (I forgot her name) greeted us and our dog. The consultation with Dr. went great as she discussed the various options for our dog’s surgery, from the simple to the complex and discussed prices right away, so we knew where we’d be financially. Let’s just say the dog wasn’t the only one in pain that morning. But, compared to the first doctor who wanted to do a more complex and more expensive surgery, Dr. Morana assures is that our dog would need the less-invasive procedure. She explained that her hospital works with one of the leading orthopedic surgeons who regularly perform surgeries of this type. We were comforted to know that a specialist would be doing the surgery at Community, a place where it is evident that the care and treatment of pets comes before fees. Surgery was yesterday and everything went amazingly! We were notified when she came out of surgery and was called by the doctor who explained the entire process and what was to come next. Then we were updated throughout the day about how she was doing and when we should come to pick her up that night. Dr. Morana came out to say hello and to go over the post-op notes and directions. She is such a caring advocate for pets and pet owners. We can’t say enough about the entire process and the team who treated our dog like she was theirs. Pets sometimes need serious medical care, and when it happens it’s usually unexpected and can be very emotional. The wrong doctors would see us as a fee to earn, but the RIGHT doctors work at and own Community Animal Hospital. Thank you to everyone who helped to take the edge off of a traumatic experience for us all!

Love love love them! Have been going here for nearly 17 years. Started with my first dog Mighty and now they are the only ones I trust with my 3 dogs, especially my service dog. I've been through it all there, having to say good bye, emergencies after another dog bite, one pup with epilepsy, dental, a tumor, you name it and they continue to be exceptional. I currently live on the North Shore, but still make the drive to them, even for urgent appointments. Phenomenal staff and highly recommend. My boys can't wait to get into the door and see everyone and they are great with my old girl who is terrified of many things. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent, clean, friendly and genuinely caring. So glad I found this place!

My dog loves going here for grooming & daycare. We visit about every 6 weeks, staff know us, while our dog knows the 'drill' when visiting. Vet services are very accommodating, personally and especially for hours available.

Gaylord Friend

Awesome folks and they take care of all 3 of my cats!

Tad Jaillet

Always a great place to bring your pet. The pets health is number 1 with them and never had a issue. People are accommodating and very helpful.

Community Animal Hospital has so many problems and the prices are extremely high. The owner is very snooty, unfriendly and not very caring. She is cold and mean to customers and pets. Your pet is just a number to her. Do your research, they have the lowest Animal Hospital reviews online for a reason.

Greg Rota

The best around!!! So good!!

Friendly and caring staff.

My pets primary vet is here, friendly staff and good care

Catherine Warren

We would not consider any other veterinarians for our pets. The best care and the best staff. Always responds and always caring. In a stressful situation when our pets are sick the staff is excellent.

Andrea Acquafredda

I had noting but great experiences when taking both dogs to the vet. Both doctors we saw took their time in explaining different options and answered any questions I had. I never felt rushed and I got the feeling they truly care about their patients.

Rosalind Reynolds

The Doctor is a very good Veterinarian, she's very caring and thourough. She has an excellent and caring staff as well. The clinic offers a variety of services. One stop full services. I Love this Animal Hospital. They are Wonderful.

Gini Miller

Wonderful, knowledgeable and caring group. They have a true love and compassion for your pets.

Mae Fox

Don’t know about their animal care but business wise they are very unprofessional. Went in for an interview and was told I would hear back from them shortly about whether I got the position or not. Instead I just never heard from them again. Definitely wouldn’t take my pet here considering they clearly have no respect for the people.

Susan Horn

The best Vet! We are moving further away and keeping the vet... the cats will have to deal with a little longer if a trip because she love CAH. We see Dr. Link who is awesome. She knows her stuff! She has discussed research and current info on medical conditions, etc. In addition to annual checkups over the past 9 years we've also had both cats have oral surgery for tooth removal which was so beneficial to them. We have complete confidence in the practice. Everyone is so great. The facility is newer, clean, comfortable, they have newer technology and they really care. They're not the cheapest around but it's worth it, for sure! If you consider your animals as family, CAH is the place to go.

Been going here since shortly after they opened. Receptionist are always so friendly. All the techs and Dr' s go above and beyond. Have recommended to a couple of friends, and will continue to do so. Thank you Dr. Morana for opening CAH, Drs. Link & O'Hagan for your patience and professionalism, Janice for our chats while sitting in the waiting room, and Sara for remembering me and my cat's and for always having a smile.

This place was once awesome with great Vets. Once upon a time, a good Vet would give their best possible diagnosis and practical advice with logical and well thought out steps that would lead to a conclusion, good or bad, in a reasonable amount of time . Some where along the line, the good Vets left the practice. What was left were Vets with no answers who kept advising more and more expensive tests while my cats worsened .They caused me and my beloved pets more harm and stress than I care to recall. I tried to address one issue with the owner who was defensive and aggressive toward towards me. I had to take control of my own frazzled emotions in order to manage her bad behavior and get her to listen. After dealing with the owner, I strongly suspected she was the very reason that the quality Vets left the practice. Both my cats had to be euthanized within 4 months of each other. This outcome may have been inevitable, but I came to these decisions due to prolonged suffering without answers despite thousands of dollars in tests. Maybe thats just the way things go sometimes despite everyone's best efforts, but I did not care for how I was treated, talked to, "handled" on multiple occasions and would definately NOT recommend this practice.

The following is my opinion based upon our experiences with CAH: Terrible service and awful communication between staff and veterinarians. On a side note, Dr. Levitt was fantastic. We received terrible service at CAH from staff/technicians. Our rescued pup was diagnosed with kennel cough by CAH, and yet I was specifically told to come in for a vaccine follow-up while our dog was on antibiotics. I called the day before to ensure I should come in for the vaccine even though she was on a medication. The woman said, "Yes." Additionally our "supposedly" contagious dog sat in the waiting room when other animals entered. (I reminded the staff at the desk that she was contagious.)Thankfully the technician knew not to give our dog the vaccine when on antibiotics and we left (not a big deal, I thought, that technician caught it. I was thankful). Additionally, our dog had x-rays taken two days later, as the technician two days before didn't think it was odd that our dog's cough was worsening after three days on antibiotics. The vet said that the antibiotics should have taken effect quickly. Didn't know until five days later, when I told the technician her condition had worsened. Waited for 45 minutes while my dog was in an x-ray room before being told that they were waiting for an additional person to put on a robe. ?? I know, this makes no sense. When I went searching for a technician, an employee snapped at me, "I'll be with you in a moment." Not nice demeanor. Even after this all happened, they never called to acknowledge errors, poor treatment, miscommunication. Office owner called 8 days later, on a Thursday at 5:15PM to say, "Dr. Levitt thought I should call perhaps..... I won't be back in the office until Monday." A lack of compassion, poor protocols in place, and a degree of "we've been around for a long time and have great reviews, we must be doing something right." I acknowledge good veterinarians, but I believe the rest is an accident waiting to happen. We've since taken our pup to another facility for proper care, diagnosis, and treatment. Based upon the response from CAH (on Yelp/Google), you are supposed to believe our dog wasn't contagious. Yet it was CAH who told us she was. And they who did not protect other animals from our dog. Meaning CAH misdiagnosed our dog and treated her with antibiotics for a contagious disease she didn't have. So CAH is correct after the fact, our dog wasn't contagious, but CAH thought she was, as did we.

I've been taking my Boxers (4 in total) to Community Animal Hospital since 2005. There is NO better Animal Hospital in my area than Community. The vets here are undeniably the best around. I've been through many medical issues, allergy issues and surgeries with my dogs and I've always felt comforted and secure with the vets here. The vets here are EXCELLENT. They are truly knowledgeable and have THE BEST bedside manners of any vets I have ever met. I can be a little anxious when my dogs are sick or need a surgery and the doctors here are so wonderful with me, always make me feel like my dog is their number 1 priority and have a way of calming me down and making me feel good. I also am the Director of a non-profit dog rescue and have referred our adopters in the area (even outside of the area) to Community Animal for their regular vet care and I've heard nothing but great things from all those I have referred. I would like to mention that the support staff at Community is PHENOMENAL! You will feel like part of their "family" when you leave. They are warm, welcoming and truly care about each individual owner and pet. I cannot say enough about them and highly recommend them. Their Inn and Spa is also top notch for boarding or grooming your dog! They are A++

JENNIFER CLEMENT

Fantastic people in Dr Barb has a genuine love for animals! She does a very thorough check up goes over every detail with a fine-tooth comb which I totally appreciate.

Linda K. Brosnan

I have no complaints about CAH. We have been coming here for as long as it’s been opened. That statement in and of itself speaks volumes. Whenever one our beloved dogs have had to leave us Shari was there beside us to the very end. She was very nurturing and understanding. Christine is there holding your hand. When our son died they even came to his wake. Compassionate and supportive. I don’t get these reviews that state otherwise. I have never witnessed that. If I had ever had a bad experience believe you me I’d be the first to make an issue. I would recommend CAH and have done so several times!

Dave Mercuri

Great experiences with the Doctors and staff as well as the Boarding Kennel downstairs. I have been taking my dogs there for several years.

Michelle Saben

I have been a client of CAH for over 15 years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They know my pets by name. I have peace of mind when I have to board my pets at the spa. The staff doesn't hesitate to call if the is a problem and I know there is a Vet who can see my pet if needed. The best compliment I can give is the excitement my dog Dixie displays when I say we are going to the vet. She can't wait to get out of the car!

The owner is difficult and I know that her employees suffer because of this. She does not care about them and does not pay well. This includes the kennel. She is unkind and paranoid which is troublesome. I no longer board my dog there as the staff in the kennel has had turnover that is disconcerting. For her I believe it is all about the $. That is all she cares about.

carol Hughes

This is the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to. I have taken my dog there for past 11 years. The staff are very professional and kind to the animals. I would definitely reccomend them.

Haven't been there in months but driving by today reminded me of how terrible my dog and family was treated by the staff there. They gave tons of eye rolls and attitude when we questioned why our dogs nose was bleeding after grooming. Not to mention he was half groomed and looked like a dog off the street. For the price we paid he should have looked great. The first time we had brought him there he came out smelling great and looking sharp with a bandana around his neck. The second time is when we had problems. No bandana and he didnt even smell good. Its as if they mistreated him and didnt care about it. Never went back and never will.

Good place for pets who need a vet and for boarding your pet when you are going on a trip.

Whenever a pet of mine needs to be seen urgently, they blow me off and send me to Tufts, where I pay $1,000-$1,500 for my pet to die. They are there for the little new kitten and puppy visits, but when the rubber hits the road, forget it.

Jennifer Vinciulla

Staff here is wonderful! They make you feel so welcomed and that your pet their priority.

Worcester is still trying to take me to court a year after moving because these douchebags reported to the city my dog was unlicensed (he is licensed where I currently live...) after just moving there. So glad I never have to come back. Prices are also ridiculous.
