The actual service here is fine, but they are not readily accessible. They do not pick up the phone. Your only option is to leave a message, and they don't always return calls.

Refused to come pick up an injured, wild animal. Insisted that we had to bring it in ourselves. I am a college student without a car in the middle of finals week. You would think that people who sign up to rescue wildlife would actually want to do their job. Guess not. Hours are wrong on their website, by the way; they are not open til 7pm, only until 5pm.

They've taken very good care of our cats both before and after we adopted them from the shelter that's attached to the practice. They are also willing to work pet owners when they can't afford a certain treatment. The one downside is that they have a lot of patients, so you have to schedule appointments kind of far in advance. However, they make up for it with flexible hours, and there have also been times where they have found earlier slots for my cat when an issue has been more urgent. Thanks for keeping my fur babies healthy!

It's a good place, but I often have the feeling that they don't quite listen to what you say and try to get you to spend $ on what you don't need. Every time I go it's at least 300$ . Considering they are a non profit I suppose it goes to a good cause so it takes the sting off a bit.

Very disappointed with our experience with Boston Animal Rescue League Vet today. We were notified that our dogs neuter surgery that is happening in less than 24 hours was cancelled due to a vet's injury. While we were understandably not thrilled since it was less than 24 hours notice and we changed our work schedule to take our dog to the appointment we understand things happen and presume they would have discounted our services for not notifying us within 24 hours (since we would be charged if cancelling in under 24 hours). However, when we called to reschedule we were told it would not be for another 2 WEEKS! Because apparently they can cancel our appointment last minute but are fine not canceling anyone elses appointment to reschedule us (since we scheduled before all those other people). It's honestly ridiculous considering our bill would have been over $700 for the surgery and other shots due. Since the vet decided our business is not valuable too them and have made no effort to resolve the issue we will be taking that money to a different vet and all future visits. More importantly, to all my friends who I have recommended this Vet to, I can no longer do so in good faith if you are looking for a responsible and accountable veterinary.
