I had my 6 month old pup "fixed" here last week, with a Friends of Animals certificate. With the certificate, I saved a bunch of money and it was worth it. They even did a complimentary nail trimming! The staff, Veterinarian, and post-surgery was great and my pup is recovering great.

Paid over $500 for a massive misdiagnosis that nearly cost our young cat its life. Also, the doctor talks way too much! If you want to spend 15-20 minutes listening to his experiences with other peoples animals while your pet sits in front of him needing treatment, by all means, waste your time & money here. The staff are very nice otherwise. These are just my (and others I've talked with in person's) opinions.

I have been taking my little dog here since she was one year old and she is now ten. The staff is great and knowledgeable. They are helpful when you have a question and timely if you need to have them send you something such as a health or vaccination report. Dr. Freidman always takes the time to explain what is going on with my dog and the rationale for the her care. I like that he is keeping me informed. She has been healthy thanks to the good care she receives here.

He even treated a bunny when no other vet would and gave us 3 extra years with him. With animals out of their practice range, the office has directed us to top notch specialists. Dr. Friedman is very thorough, caring, and punctual. He is careful and doesn't recommend unnecessary medicine or procedures, which makes this the place to take your animal if you live in Beverly it the surrounding area.

Dr. Friedman is great. My cat has periodontal disease and had his second teeth cleaning (with extractions) as a senior at BAH. He recovered quickly and is happy and healthy. I was advised that my kitty has a less-than-optimal functioning kidney and the staff has been helpful in assisting me with choosing a diet to help keep him healthy. Compared to Maine, the bloodwork is much more precise and everyone seems knowledgeable and friendly. Dr Friedman also makes sure to explain everything going on and answers all questions without judgement. Will be bringing my new kitten here!

This week I had to put down my extremely beloved 13 year old cat. She had a terribly aggressive mouth cancer (SCC), and unfortunately there is no cure for it. Before my knowing it was cancer, I had brought her in because of her unusual behavior, and that was the beginning of the end. I’m completely heartbroken that she’s gone, but am glad I had a reliable and compassionate place to bring her to. I’ve been going to BAH for almost 13 years, and Dr. Friedman is remarkable. His sympathy for his patients doesn’t go unnoticed, and that I truly appreciate. He’s also been a miracle worker for another one of my cats that has pancreatitis. Years ago, I brought that cat to a specialist that give him an ultrasound, and he informed me that my cat was severely sick. Without undergoing any invasive treatments, Dr. Friedman reviewed all of the notes from the specialist several times and made a medication list that not only works during flare ups, but are now far and few in between. BAH has a terrific staff - besides them being so caring in person, I’ve also called several times with questions not necessarily urgent enough to schedule an appointment for, and they’re always very thoughtful and thorough with their responses. I’m so grateful we have BAH - they really do care about our furry family members.

I love Beverly Animal Hospital. Dr. Freeman is a dynamite Doctor. He really cares for all the animals. I have a dog and Coco doesn't even shake when she goes in the door. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend this place to all who need a terrific Vet.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! The doctor has no idea what he is doing. Brought my small dog and because she was having bladder issues. She was straining to urinate all the time. When I brought her and he gave her an exam, he palpated her bladder and told me there was nothing wrong. He then took blood test and again told me nothing was wrong. He said we'll just give her an antibiotic in case she has an After she finished the antibiotics she was still straining to urinate. And this was all the time. I brought her to Danvers hospital, and the doctor told me what was wrong with in 5 minutes of my visit! She had crystals in her bladder. They took blood work and from there we were able to get everything under control. Dr. Friedman should have been able to tell me exactly what Danvers said! My dog could have DIED! She was in a lot of pain and all he gave us was an antibiotic. I had read other reviews about him in the hospital and I should have listened to them. He shouldn't have his license to practice! He has no idea what he is doing I read other reviews that said he was lazy and unprofessional and I should have never gone there I have told other people my story and quite a few have had bad experiences with him Find another veterinary office, DON'T GO HERE!!! ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE WRITTEN BY THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE!!
