I am appalled by the treatment I received from the chief of staff, Dr. Cleveland. I brought some concerns to her attention and she essentially told me I was free to go elsewhere and she would transfer my file. When you onboard a new vet with minimal experience and a client gives you feedback, that would be a good time to provide the new vet with training on protocol, procedure and overall cleanliness. She also refused to give my dogs monthly heartworm and flea and tick Rx to a third party, which is in violation of the AVMA code of Ethics. Dr. Cleveland should not be representing the hospital, she lacks professionalism, leadership and customer service.

We love Dr. Laura! She is always so caring and attentive. She gets right on the floor with my little dogs and makes them feel comfortable. Last time, I had an appointment for my older dog but brought my new puppy for socialization purposes. When she noticed that my puppy was really nervous in the exam room, she started feeding him treats and helping get him comfortable! She's always gone above and beyond answering my questions and following up. I'm so glad we found this hospital and Dr. Laura!

I highly recommend Ashland Animal Hosp over any other hospitals in town or surrounding towns. I've tried a lot and now my animals are clients there and have been for over 20 yrs. I WILL NEVER go anywhere else. You can tell you & your animal are not just "a number" - but they truly care. They take the time to listen to you, answer questions, and spend the quality time you need. My dogs are my children. I trust EVERYONE at Ashland Animal Hospital. I know they treat them great, as they do when ur in the exam room with them. When they take them into the other room (from blood draws to major surgery), they are caring, gentle, and treat your pet like their own, a VIP. Plus they don't do unnecessary tests, etc just to make a buck. They are conservative and will work with you. They truly care. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ASHLAND ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!!!!

Dr Bob Davis and his staff have provided the most loving and advanced medical treatment and general vet services to all of our animals over the past 20 years. We consider him part of the family, as do our animals from our Doby's, & Vizsla's to our Siamese & Labradoodle. He and his staff consistently offer us helpful medical advice and guidance with compassion and understanding. When we are traveling away from home and have to visit another vet we call him for a second opinion and consult and he is always there for us and our animals. There is no one more dedicated.

Just had my first appointment here with my dog. Not impressed. I was charged an office consult, but they didn't do actually do anything. My dog was exceptionally nervous on this visit, so it's understandable that we return when he's on sedatives. They were also 30 minutes late with the appointment. Perhaps my previous vet was just exceptionally great with customer service and with my dog, but I have to return to this place in 2 days and pay for another exam and to get a shot. This place is only a mile from my house, but I think I'd rather return to my previous vet at Marlboro Animal Hospital for the better service.

I used to go here, but stopped. My cat was sensitive to certain proteins so they "prescribed" a Hill's "prescription" diet food which was effective, but very expensive (the proteins were just broken down into a more digestible form). What turned me off from this place is when they insisted that the cat had to have its annual check-up before they would sell me more of the food. They argued it "required" a prescription. Total nonsense. It's food - not medicine - just a marketing ploy, a scam, simple as that. I took my business to another vet in town and have been more than happy. Cat is doing fine without the expensive "prescription" food - just rotating protein source and avoiding grains.

We have owned 4 dogs in our 20 yr marriage, and all of them have gone or go to Ashland Animal Hospital. They are very in tuned to our 10 yr old golden's anxiety when visiting the vet. They welcomed our new rescue pup. When our then 4 yr old lab got systematic lymphoma, we chose not to go with the chemo route as he would not have been cured. When he could no long walk and was in bad pain we chose to let him go. Our teens accompanied us to AAH when the time came to say goodbye to Comet. The compassion, respect and love they showed our family will forever keep us customers.

Horrible service and could care less about the well being of your pet. i would advice othr vets in the framingham/ashland area. Not only that most of the receptionists are extremely rude.

I would give 10 stars if I could! I am sad that I have had to relocate and not have my care with Dr Davis and the entire team! great care since 1996. Princess Tuxedo Cat made it to 18, Shasta Sheltie made it to 15, Duchess Tuxedo cat (lol she got the pink sheet in her chart) , Murphy Duke,Golden Retriever made it 13 glorious years, and Shiloh( Sheltie-who ran away for 4 days in the woods in Ashland the DAY I got him)---will miss you all. As a new dog owner, Ashland Animal Hospital done a great job walking me through the first couple months of pet ownership. They provided recommendations for local dog walkers and trainers, answered all my questions about vaccinations and they send email confirmations for your apts to make it easier to add to your calendar. Friendly and professional. Would recommend.
