Techs and Doctors are top notch. Only ever used Anchor,never seen a need to go elsewhere. Always call within a few days to check on our pets after an appointment. Only issue we have is the prices seem to be higher on visits and meds than our friends pets vets. But can you put a price on service and satisfaction?

This Vet.is a uncompassionate thief. She charged a family who has a child with special needs 500 to supposedly fix thed teeth if their longtime pet guinea pig. After doing the procedure and taking the money when the guinea pig got home it was NO better than when they supposedly corrected the problem. They did take the animal back in for monitoring and then charged for that too and problem still not fixed. Now they want to operate again in case they missed part if a tooth. Really?? They want to charge for that too. It may just be a guinea pig to someone else but to the kids who have had her a long time it us more and they trusted thus person to take care if it. Would have been better off with the Professor from Gilligans Island. Cheaper too. Over 500 doallers for nothing. Awful. I am also reporting this to the BBB and whomever else

Such an amazing and compassionate staff. We had to put our cat to sleep and the staff helped us tremendously through this heartbreaking process. It was one of the most difficult decisions to make, but the staff helped us end our pets suffering with peace and dignity. There is so much love in that place... They are all truly ANGELS!

we aren't happy with the service we received at this vet at all , i went their to have a few thinks done they dropped my dog while they were cutting her nails ,didn't give us medication for her eyes like we asked ,but were more interested in selling us other stuff ,ive been going here for a while but going some where else intill theirs change

Amazing amazing Amazing staff friendly caring and true animal lovers. My last vet was not even close to this and i was afraid to switch but glad I did. They took very good care of me and my pup. They were not money hungry at all . they would listen to me over the phone and not tell me just to bring her in and in some cases were able to got me the correct medicine to help my situation with out an appointment. Another doctor that I went to said that it is a twenty minute job and that my little bird that l loved so much should have been gassed first in the back room ! ! ! This was all done by the owner's daughter ! !

Rabbit Dental Care-Abysmal. Would not recommend unless desperate. Required rabbit to be in between 7:30 and 8 a.m. Did not perform dental on rabbit until after 3:30. Rabbit was not ready to be picked up until 7:30. Rabbit was in the worst shape I'd ever seen him. Eyes wet. Completely over drugged. The area where they had the IV bandage still is indented. Unusual. The person who handed him to me in the cage said to take the bandage off when I got home and there might be bruising which is normal. Not in my experience. I have had this procedure done 3 times at Ocean State in South Kingston, RI and never ever had an issue with the rabbits reaction afterwards. Never ever even saw a bandaged area. Never ever was the rabbit wobbly on his feet and crouched in a corner. This isn't to promote them it's just to qualify that I've had experience with this procedure. It is 12 hours later and the rabbit is still not steady. Yes, the rabbit is eating, drinking, pooping and peeing so should be fine. I cried when I got the rabbit home and saw how he was. House rabbit (free roaming). Have owned since he was a kit. 4th rabbit owned in 14 years, not a novice. One more thing, I was repeatedly told that he was eating and that is why they waited to do the procedure. My husband forgot to bring in the pellets and extra parsley so there was only a small amount of lettuce to eat. They gave him hay which he had not been eating at home because, he needed dental work and could not chew well, so I find it hard to believe that he was eating that there. I had been giving him Oxbow Critical Care both freely (mixed more firmly) and by syringe, which is information I relayed the day before when I brought him in to be checked. They did not offer the rabbit anything but what was brought in (not enough from us for a 12 hour stay which we were not aware of the length) and hay and water.

This place is great! They took great care of my rabbit. The staff where really kind and seemed very passionate about animals. The doctor was patient and stayed for a bit while I asked questions. I was impressed when a desk attendant offered to give another client a water bowl for his dog who was waiting in the car because it was such a hot day. They handled my rabbit well and where able to stop him from moving so they could examine him even though he was very jumpy and upset. They are also inexpensively priced on the most part. Getting a rabbit fixed is very expensive but they took great care of my rabbit during his surgery so it was worth it.

Prices are NOT very reasonable. Very expensive. I brought my cat in because they said he needed dental surgery. (he was 13 yrs old and diabetic). Long story short, he had the surgery and was gone 13 days later. They claim they ran all the diagnostics on him before the surgery and said everything came back fine, and that they would proceed with the surgery. I had to bring him back several times (4 x) in the 13 days before he was gone. Kept telling them something was wrong, because he was not responding to the antibiotics or pain meds. They just kept giving me more medication to buy for him (all the same meds). That poor cat suffered for the past two weeks of his life. On his final visit to the vets, which was 13 days later, she now informs me that the infection had subsided in his gums, but that now, the infection is in his head and pushing on the back of his eye. He's in a lot of pain, and she also informs me that she's 75% sure he has cancer now, seriously! She examined him 2 days prior and made no mention about his failing condition. Cancer doesn't just pop up in two days. They also sold me more medication for him, totaling $200 more two days before he was gone, and had the nerve to ask me if I'd like to donate his medications. Not only was he gone in 13 days after surgery, but I had a whopping bill for over $3,000. Needless to say I am devastated and just cannot process what happened here. I would not recommend this veterinarian to anyone, all they are is a huge money making business who preys on desperate clients that are trying to help they're pets, which are part of our family. My heart aches everyday that that poor cat suffered needlessly because of $$$$$$. It's a real shame. R.I.P. my sweet Nigel - Dr. Robertson was the one who performed the botched dental surgery, and never made it a point to introduce herself to me not once, before, or after his surgery. Never did meet her. Dr. Kate Pietch, (the owner) was the one who examined him everytime I had to bring him back in for severe discomfort and pain after his surgery.

Go here if— you want to wait forever in the waiting room for a scheduled appointment. You want mediocre UNEXPERIENCED veterinarians consulting you on stuff they know NOTHING about. Long story short: my dog broke his leg, I didn’t have money for surgery right away, vet said there’s NO CHANCE to save leg and amputation was the only way. Saw a specialist at a different hospital, anchor hospital suddenly changed the fees (I was paying 20$ every visit for a cast change, last visit before they never saw me again suddenly the price was 50 after the 8th cast change) miraculously my dog healed per specialist instructions!! leg is completely fine (WITH NO SURGERY) imagine if I had listened to anchor and screwed my life up to pay the vet (which I was more than willing to do)

Dr. Robertson is amazing! She is great with cats! She got on the floor to pet my cat to see how he was doing. She is quick with vaccines and she's so compassionate. She always loves to answer questions and she makes sure you are aware what is going on and what she plans on doing when she takes your pet into another room. I can always get an appointment pretty soon too, which is really nice. And convenient

This hospital is amazing, hands down. It all started with my dog Oreo(he was a 13 yr old boston terrier), I had called around many many vet offices to see if anyone could fit him into their schedule. He was experiencing some type of pain that caused him to appear like he had neurological issues. He couldnt walk without stumbling or falling over, etc. It was heart breaking to watch because i didnt know what was going on. Dr. Jill Robertson was his vet, she was concerned but also let me know that not everything can be fixed. He was already old and the pain management she placed him on was more or less like a trial, to see if it would help him. I was to check back in a week to see how things were. He was improving but he still had his bad days. He was more comfortable if you will. Soon i had to make another appointment for my Oreo, one day i came home from work and his face swelled like a balloon. I was hoping for an appointment that day but i couldnt get one until the next afternoon. I was in work and my mom took him to the office for me. I got a call and my heart sank, i was told that Oreo has such an aggressive form of mouth cancer that showed up within a month's time that his best interest was to put him to sleep...forever. Dr. Robertson feared that because of how fast it grew, it may be else where in his body. So...we made the appointment for the next day, we wanted to make sure everyone got to say goodbye and that he could get spoiled prior to crossing the rainbow bridge. Dr. Robertson wasnt in that day, however another vet was..she was a very kind lady. Always made sure our questions were answered as well as made sure we understood the process. I never felt rushed or even worried. I knew he was in safe hands, she let us know when he was gone. They allowed us to have all the time in the world with him before anything happened. The exam room was set up for us, and i loved it. There was a blanket on the table and tissues provided. Prior to Oreo's unexpected passing i had bought a puppy back in November 2017. It ended up being Oreo passing the week before Fiction arrived. I didnt know how to feel or anything. I just wish Oreo couldve met him. So i made Fiction's appointment with Anchor, the next day i had him(Got him 3/9, appointment 3/10). Dr.Robertson again, blew me away. She made sure i understood everything that was discussed and brought up things that i should think about vaccine wise, protecting Fiction against Influenza because he'll be going to daycare as well as Lyme disease because we take our pets camping with us. We went over many things with her and honestly i wouldnt have it any other way. Bringing Oreo there was my best decision and even greater with Fiction. She really made me comfortable with her as a veterinarian. Honestly Anchor was not my first choice in Vet Hospitals, i had ones pre-picked for Fiction and Oreo was going to go to Village because i took my cat there. I honestly 100% recommend Anchor and their staff, they are fabulous and caring.
