Acton Animal Hosp. truly care about the animals that they tend to. All the employees are friendly and knowledgeable and even make shy dogs like mine feel at ease. They don't rush through an exam and take all the time necessary to answer questions. I highly recommend Acton Animal Hospital to anyone in the area (and even further out) to bring your four-legged kids here for preventive, as well as more serious visits. The tech who helped the vet was wonderful. My wife took my cat there because I felt that he was loosing a lot of weight. The veterinarian was very condescending and didn't listen to her when she was trying to explain my cat's history. They trimmed my cat's claws with out asking me. They performed an action that wasn't life saving with out her permission. When she asked them how much it would cost and pricing they did not explain anything until it was time to pay. Personally I have been to multiple vet offices and after hearing this story I will never take any of my animals back to this hospital. Don't take your pets here.

Eveyone on staff was very nice and gentle with both my dogs. They let them get a check up at the same time so the dogs would be less nervous in the new environment. We had a bunch of notes from our dogs' prior vet and they did a thorough job of reading through them before giving the examination to make the process even smoother.

We've been taking our dogs to the Acton Animal Hospital for years and have always gotten the best of courteous and competent care for our mini schnauzers. Staff is kind and friendly and treat the pets with the utmost care. They are also efficient when we have to check out. I'd recommend them to anyone.

The new owner and vet, Daphne Flessas is a joy to deal with!!!!! She is an excellent vet, knowledgeable, caring and willing to listen to your concerns and ideas regarding your pet....she did surgery on one of my older dogs and she came through with flying colors and healed quickly. Dr. Flessas called when the surgery was finished and then again the next day to check on her....The front desk staff and the vet techs are so welcoming to you and clearly love the animals that come into the office....loving greetings to them all....All my experiences have been wonderful...

The staff is wonderful! Very friendly and professional! I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes after my appointment time. They are very gentle with the handling of our dogs. I also like the fact that they call us, the day after an appointment where vaccinations have been given or a visit made due to a concern we may have, to be sure our pup is ok. Their office is always clean and free of strong animal smells. I strongly recommend Acton Animal Hospital?

This is a FANTASTIC practice. My family has been taking our beloved pets to this practice for many many years. We have always been treated with great respect and our pets have been cared for so well. I have brought all of my fur family members here for many years and cannot speak highly enough of how they have been treated. Two of my pets have had very special needs (a diabetic/insulin dependent cat and a wheelchair bound one-eyed frenchie) and have never doubted the treatment plans and greatly appreciated the high level of customer service. The new practice owner has made extensive improvements that I have found very helpful. They have a strong web presence and have embraced email reminders and announcements, which I find very helpful. The hours of operation are simple and clearly defined on the building and the website. One area that needed no improvement is the wonderful staff. The women who manage the front desk and the phones and scheduling are TOP NOTCH and I have been so blessed to have their support during very difficult transactions (end of life, serious decision-making, etc.). (Huge note of thanks to Debbie and Stephanie for their kindness through the years). The technicians and doctors are beyond reproach. I value the time and thoughtful care that they have given to me and all of my pets and cannot thank them enough (Barb, Denise, Dr. Flessas, Dr. Johnston and Dr. Cloherty..... so grateful). As the practice grows and evolves, I am truly impressed with each improvement/enhancement and each new person I meet is dedicated, responsible and continues to make me and my pets feel like valued members of this community. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.....

Absolutely love this place, I always fear taking my sick pet to the vet because I always never come back home with them. My 14 year old schnauzer came down with extreme spins and couldn’t walk, I thought this was going to be one of those times, I took her to this vet and to my surprise the very nice vet informed me that my dog has vestibular disease, this was very relieving as I took my dog home and 6 days later she’s walking and being herself again, I would say she’s at 75% herself and slowly improving. I really arriviste how much this office REALLY CARES about you dog. I’m glad I still have my pup and I will be taking my future animals to this office from now on. Thanks Acton Animal Hospital!

I agree, the owner is very condescending though I would like to think she does not intend to come off this way. I recommend taking your animal directly to Westford Animal Hospital. They have more advanced care and better reviewer experiences. I will say my experience with the two other doctors at this clinic have been very positive.
