Dr. Tyson and his team at VMC saved my Annie girl's life. Annie had visited three different vet offices, all without a diagnosis. She was literally on her death bed when a client of mine recommended Dr. Tyson. He was my last hope, as I was clearly running out of time. Not only did Dr. Tyson diagnose her, but she thrived and I was able to spend four more wonderful years with my special girl. I am forever grateful for the recommendation! Dr Tyson and crew are the best of the best! They helped our little Brussels Griffon Georgie through her later years and provided support to her grieving humans during her final illness and death. We couldn't be more appreciative. AND NOW our little Griffon rescue, Black Dog Aly, is the beneficiary of all that knowledge, care, and genuine love for their furry patients. Although Aly comes with a natural dislike for our two legged species, she is always treated with tender professional care. Veterinary Medical Center have been our veterinarians for more than 25 years. We started with dr. Callahan, added dr. Tyson, and then dr. Bruce. dr's Gillespie and Beck have stepped up everytime we needed them. We love them so much. The care that they provide our animals is compassionate, loving, and extremely attentive. I have no other way to explain to you how much they care about animals. But each one of them has gone above and beyond in the care of one of my animals that led to the well-being of my animal and peace of mind for myself. Their support staff is phenomenal! I have a dog that will poop every single time they clip her toenails. That's at least 4 times a year. And the techs all just laugh and tell me not to worry as my dog poops all over herself, the floor and them. LoL Their office staff is just as great. They work very hard to help you get what you need, as soon as you need it. If you have actually read this far through, you need to understand, in very clear terms, I cannot recommend veterinarian Medical Center strongly enough. You will not be disappointed. And your animal will be better for it

As a Breeder, AKC Exhibitor for more than 25 years, I've had relationships with many Vets and Animal Clinics. I can honestly say the staff at Vet Med Center are the best of the best. Even though we've seen and like all of the vets here the nature of our kennel and our breedings have us seeing Dr Bruce and Dr Callahan most of the time. They are not only our vets of choice but have made us feel like best "friends" always answering our calls (even after hours) extremely quickly. This facility is one of the most up to date we've ever used. We also use them for our Horses, it seems all at Vet Med Center are Horse lovers. Everyone at this clinic goes far above and beyond the call of duty. The compassion and professionalism they've shown to us (in good times and bad) has always made us feel like a member of their family.

The name should be Veterinary Medical CARE. Having worked with many veterinarians, I know the folks at VMC are truly exceptional. From easily making an appointment, to the tasteful and very clean interior, to the expert care (medical and emotional) from the veterinarian assistants and the veterinarians - this is one top notch experience. I recently drove almost 3 hours (from our new home) to be able to get my dog seen at VMC. When we took our beloved Ricky in for "a last visit", everyone at VMC was respectful, understanding, helpful, sensitive, and all things wonderful. We can never thank them enough for their care. Yes, I keep repeating that word, "care", but that's what they are ALL about. If you care for your pet, this is the only place to go.

They have petitioned waiting room alcoves and water stations for the pets. Big plus is they did not push any extras as in products to buy from them.

Im not sure how to rave enough about this clinic. We rushed in on Saturday of labor day weekend because we suspected our dog ate a day old chicken neck with a hook in it. We werent sure because we had a large amount of people around and couldn't account for more than 30 seconds when he could have snapped the very strong line. Based on x-rays taken at veterinary medical center, it was clear as day he swallowed the hook. Everyone there from Dr. Beck, who was awesome, to the vet tech, to the front desk manager were calm, action-oriented and really seemed to care about the well-being of our dog. I could go on for paragraphs but this place is proactive and smart and if my dog had to swallow a fish hook im so thankful it was near this practice.

After having a bad experience with a previous vet we were welcomed by the staff at VMC. The staff has been second to none and treats every one of our dogs like their own each time we visit. When our puppy had to have surgery and subsequent laser therapy we came to VMC and had an amazing experience. Ashley O. (tech) was outstanding and we actually scheduled our treatments in order to have her do them each time. Dr. Newsome has been outstanding as well, treating our rescue for his anxiety. She was the first vet in nearly 10 years of his care that took the issue seriously and changed his medications in an effort to make him more comfortable. All of the doctors here have a passion that shows through to the care they provide and the attitudes they have with every pet.

Everyone is excellent at their job, and the Veterinarians are the best! But mostly Buckaroo loves Dr. Tyson, and he always fills me with the confidence, information and meds to keep Buck healthy. We have a dog and a cat and have made frequent use of the VMC and have had some potentially serious situations. We have always been treated warmly - and quickly when necessary - and are always kept in the loop concerning options and prices. One time when our cat got sick in his crate on the way in, the receptionist took the crate and cleaned it up so we could put the cat in on the way home! I have also gotten phone calls from one of the vets when she was on vacation to check on our cat's status. There is always a vet on call, so no trips to the emergency clinic in Salisbury or Dover are needed after hours (and we made three of those trips with a sick animal before we found VMC!). Terrific in every way!

Our 13 year old Boxer, Maggie, had become deathly ill. Our family struggled with the reality of her failing health and the amount of pain she was in. We decided to have the veterinarian help her transition. We were all very fearful about the process. However, once we arrived, the staff were all attentive to our requests to make Maggie as comfortable as possible. The "soft room" with a private entrance made things that much easier. We are grateful for the awesome staff that we had the opportunity to meet. They helped this process be less painful.

I have a menagerie of animals (4 cats and 2 dogs, at the moment) and it's easy to get an appointment, the email reminders are helpful for keeping up with each animal's needs, and the vaccination program (Vaccines for Life) is a great way to save money on the animal's health care needs. There are a few different vets, so you can find one that fits with your style and approach. Highly recommend this veterinary group.

I haven't had much occasion to use them as my dogs have always been healthy. But in July, one of my dogs had to have emergency surgery and Dr Tanis was on call. She couldn't have been more helpful and caring. During the surgery she didn't pull any punches, letting me know she wasn't sure Jelly was going to make it, but she would give it her best shot. Well, my profile pic is proof she did a great job of her best shot! Jelly made it with flying colors and all the staff were great as well. The facility is immaculate and everyone there is very friendly and most helpful. I'd be heartbroken if I couldn't keep going there.

And throughout the years spent with these incredible doctors, we have weathered ailments such as prostate cancer, chronic pancreatitis, debilitating arthritis, and a Class V heart murmur. The expert diagnosis, treatment plans and successful surgeries when needed, were all delivered with compassion and intelligence. This wonderful practice of doctors have helped us through the end of life decisions for three of our animals and administered sage advice when we adopted our new puppy. It is without hesitation that I offer this review. I can't imagine ever seeking treatment for my pets elsewhere. The VMC family is my family.
