Dr. Gendi and the rest of the staff at Severn River Animal Hospital are absolutely wonderful! Dr. Gendi is extremely thorough during all appointments and is willing to answer any and all questions you may have. He truly treats each pet as his own! The office is extremely efficient when it comes to answering calls, scheduling appointments and they even follow-up with a phone call the next day after seeing your pet to ensure all is well. I would recommend any pet parent to schedule an appointment with Dr. Gendi, great practice and a even greater vet!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gendi. My elderly 5 lb.dog was just in for a dental cleaning and extractions. Dr. Gendi went above and beyond in his care of Madigan and in taking the time to explain everything that he did to address her dental issues. He definitely is most concerned about the welfare of animals. Great doctor and wonderful staff!

Tuesday night 3/28/17 my 10 month old American bull dog/ black lab mix jumped our fence and was stabbed because he thought she was a pit bull and reality she was just excited she loves people and animals. Well I immediately got her in the truck and took off going to the closest vet who was already closed. So I called a couple vets and they couldn't take that kind of trauma so I was able to find this vet here and I called them they took me right in met me outside helped me get her in and they were able to patch her up to stop the bleeding to give me time to make it to an emergency overnight surgeon. Thank you very much thanks to you ladies there my dog is on her way through recovery!

I recently visited to have my dog’s bloodwork done and schedule a teeth cleaning. Great first visit and the prices are very reasonable. I proceeded to schedule the cleaning through them as I am very happy with the customer service and how smoothly the overall visit went. My dog typically has very bad anxiety when visiting the vet, but he seemed to be ok with the environment and staff here despite it being new to him. I highly recommend.

Wonderful experience! Brought my 13 year-old dog in the same day I called for a "quality of life" visit. With minimal tests, they felt they could improve her quality (and therefor quantity) of life. Took time to explain each of her results. Destinee was lovely, thoughtful, and kind.

Dr Gendi and his staff are above and beyond all expectations. They are honest and caring. The expertise shown throughout my experience there was phenomenal. Dr. Gendi went over everything and payed attention to every detail regarding my cats health and tests. He was able to determine the problem and performed surgery for my dearest fur friend. My cat is currently healing and having a great recovery. The staff has been in contact to make sure everything is ok and has been more than welcoming of questions! Very close-knit, concerned group that would love nothing more than to help. I cannot thank Dr Gendi enough for all that he has done for me and I look forward to out future visits! Great vets! Dr. Gendi and Dr. Lianides top notch smart. Staff is wonderful. Dr. Gendi only used 35 minutes of anesthesia for teeth cleaning and cracked tooth extraction on my border collie Sandy and went over the xrays before and after. Accurate estimate in advance. Dr. Lianides is keeping Sandy active with her arthritis. I am a physician, and their expertise is reassuring. Family friendly.

We had to rush our sweet Rosie to the vet This is not our regular vet but it was the closest. Immediately when we entered and told them what was going on Destinee took her right to a room and Dr Gendi also was right there After tests and exrays he shared the results and a treatment plan. Everything was explained completely and we viewed all of them Thankfully Rosie went home after a few hours of excellent care I would highly recommend this veterinary hospital.

Two weeks ago my dog was attacked by a neighbor's dog and we ended up at the emergency vet (only because SRAH was already closed for the day). After SRAH received the ER report they followed up to see how Sullivan was doing (never heard back from the EM vet). Dr. Gendi offered to remove the drain tube and the stitches at no cost. Thank you SRAH, you are the best. The Annapolis vet would have done it for free as well, but because we have a history with SRAH (10 years), I decided to go to them for Sullivans continuing care after the attack.

Great experience got us in quick! It was affordable and the staff are so so kind. Dr Gendi is thorough and really cares for each pet like it’s his own. We have never had the attention and service from a veterinarian office than the service we have received at the Severn River Animal Hospital. Our 10 year old cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and Dr. Gendi and his excellent staff nurse, Destinee, took the time to explain the situation in detail, what daily care we needed to provide, and gave us the confidence in knowing that they were there to help out in any way. In fact, they went well beyond normal service, they opened the office early and odd hours to help us take our cat's blood and other needs; their level of care and compassion was outstanding, and greatly appreciated!

My 13 year old beagle, Lucky, was cared for by Dr. Gendi. We took him in for a routine health exam and Dr. Gendi was concerned about the health of his teeth. I recently lost my husband and money is tight. Dr. Gendi took care of my dog and did major dental work at a more than reasonable price. His concern was making my Lucky comfortable. Dr. Gendi and the staff here are beyond professional. They make you feel at home and your pet as well. I have a 3.5 year old Siberian husky as well as a terrier mix! We switched over to this vet and we had both our dogs looked at! We had quick results as to what the Husky was dealing with, medication the same day, and a neuter scheduled within a week! The surgery went well and my lovely dog was taken care of very well! I highly recommend coming here as it feels like home. They dogs also were very comfortable with the doctor as he showed them a ton of love first! You can tell he is truly a animal person and will take care of your pet!

Dr. Gendi is now owner of Severn River Animal Hospital. My son's friend's mom told us about him a year ago when we were wanting to adopt a dog, and when he moved to Severn River we followed his practice. The price is reasonable there and the care is excellent! He always listens to my (many) concerns about my dog (I'm a first time dog-mom) and is always polite and welcoming even when my little kids tag along and want to talk his ears off. We have some separation/noise-anxiety issues with my dog, and Dr. Gendi was very helpful in finding an Rx that suits my dog and doesn't change his personality. He even took time to look up a medication I was ordering online through what may have been an Asian webcompany to make sure the medicine was the real deal. BTW, I've called a lot of veterinary clinics and this is the only one that I remember being SO NICE to schedule with, not impatient like everywhere else. I think the receptionist's name was Beth. I even had to call her back to ask for directions when my GPS messed up and she didn't make me feel stupid, but said call again if I needed. Destiny (I think that was her name) the vet. assistant was SO nice and calm, and when I didn't remember what shots my dog was due for, she looked through my dog's paperwork and found out before the front desk at Banfield was able to call me back about that as I'd called and asked them earlier that morning. I actually drive 15-20 minutes here--it's worth it in my book. (As an aside, this clinic's rooms has kid tables and chalk walls and coloring stuff for kids who accompany their pets. Their waiting room also has some munchies, so that's nice, but we had no wait. Altogether does put people at ease; love the personal touches!)

We brought our German Shepherd Sophie in for a much needed teeth cleaning/extraction. Everyone there is so great to deal with you can really see how much they care about the animals they see. Dr. Gendi and his team really took great care of Sophie and made sure she was okay before coming home. I would definitely recommend them.

We have been taking our cat here for over a year and are absolutely thrilled with the way the staff and the doctors take care of him. Just had an amazing experience with Dr. Gendi at Severn River animal hospital. My aging pug is nearing the end of his life and I went in to the vet today fully expecting it would be his last day with me. Dr. Gendi was the most caring and kind vet I’ve ever experienced. He was actually showing love and kindness to my aging pug like he was family. He held him, rocked him and even gave him kisses like he was his own. He walked us though his situation and was able to console me and provide optimistic news. At a hard time for me he was able to comfort my dog and provide some relief for me. I highly recommend his services. It’s was wonderful. Good news is my old boy just needs some pain meds but is still doing fine.

I took my dog in today for a 2nd opinion and Dr. Gendi was amazing! He and Destiny were so great with Fergus. Fergus will be going under for a dental cleaning next week. Dr. Gendi offered us a tour of the facility and took time to explain what everything was so I know exactly what would be happening. The office manager Mary was so sweet and Beth at the front desk was very helpful. Great facility, great staff and I will be switching all 3 of my dogs to Severn River Animal Hospital.

It's surprising how a vet change face when there's any problem with the front desk. This vet will turn you away stating she is busy with other "patients". She will threatened you to keep your dog and call the police on you. The front desk will trick you into signing and joining a program that was not recalled for. In the end, all we wanted to explain what had happened but to the vet she just doesn't have the time. Overall they do not care about you or your pet. All they care about being paid. I have never questioned the vets professions and/or her price. A simple explanation was all I requested. To those who would like to have detailed information. Dr. Gendi and the entire staff at Severn River Animal Hospital are very caring, thorough and responsive. Dr. Gendi treated my older cat with great care and respect and I didn't feel that he wanted to do unreasonable testing which can be expensive. He only suggested what was needed.
