This office used to be great, but the new doctors are lacking ethics and customer service skills. They will attempt to max out your CareCredit account, if you tell them that you have funds available, by pretending it is the best care your pet can have.

Wish this could have been a good fit for my baby girl, but alas. My experience was similar to the other low reviews. In human medicine, they teach the saying “if you hear hoofbeats, think of horses, not zebras.” I feel that was the opposite of what happened when I took my pup to MVAH. Instead of going with the most common, more likely diagnosis first, it appeared that the scarier, more grave “diagnosis” was reached first. This not only is alarming to hear, but it felt like a money grab, like we were getting taken advantage of, and is not to mention an irresponsible way to practice vet medicine. Good news, we took our baby girl to another vet, Kentlands Vet Hospital, and got a totally different “diagnosis” and all is, thankfully, well.

Dr. Bennett really took her time putting my cat at ease - he's very scared and we had the best experience he's ever had with a vet at this hospital. Great practical advice and the techs were very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

Dr. Bennet and her staff have been so responsive and relentless in helping my friend's dog get treated so he can return to Australia with them while he stays with me. Dr. Bennet has been available to me and to my friend to explain the treatment. She has spent hours researching the best and most current treatment and all for a dog that will likely not continue as their patient. I cannot say enough good things about them and their caring!

Really unlikely that I will ever take my dog here again or recommend anyone to take their pets here. Seems to me like they’re only trying to get a paycheck and have no etiquete when it comes to customer service. If you’re looking for friendly staff and a comfortable environment for your pet take them elsewhere.

I love there service and Dr . Bennett is great , my boy ( boxer ) he was having trouble recovering from intestinal worms , his previous vet was not helping him in any way , that's when we changed the vet , trust me after he started receiving treatment from the vet in Montgomery Village Animal Hospital he started to recover and now after 3 year he is so healthy with out any issues . From that day till today I never took my boy to any other vet except to Dr. Bennett

I am very pleased with the professional, caring and very kind staff at Montgomery Village Animal Hospital. I took my dog Molly, many times to see Dr. Neal B. Neuman, she had multiple problems and Dr. Neuman was wonderful helping me with my sick dog. I was very confused and tired of visiting different doctors, I was so glad I found Dr. Neuman, this is a great clinic with professional staff. I would recommended this clinic to anyone.

This place is amazing. The doctors, Dr. Bennett and Dr. McKnight, really take a personal interest regarding my dogs. My questions are always answered. And, when needed, additional information is always shared to make sure I have a full understanding of the needs and required care of my dogs. Love this place!

I've been taking my pets (3 cats and a dog) to see Dr. Bennett for years, and really appreciate the time she takes with them. She is always ready to answer my questions, and is very kind to my "kids". Through her perseverance she was able to diagnose my cat with a very rare (and thank goodness treatable!) condition, even when a radiologist said it was probably cancer! I think that she offers all options for treatments and gives her best recommendations, always with her top priority being the health of my pets. I also find the staff very friendly. While I have not taken my pets to see the other doctor (Dr. McKnight) , I have spoken with her and found her very nice and knowledgeable as well.

This place was amazing. They were super sweet and knowledgeable. They were upfront and offered me all the options without being pushy and trying to force me into paying for something that was unnecessary. My dog and I are super happy and owe this place a lot. I highly recommend MVAH to anyone.

0 stars for this place. What they did to my dog is unacceptable. April 3 was his last time in that place. Never ever taking my dog back to that place again. I was told they had no groomer in that day but they could still trim my dog's hair. My brother took our dog to this appointment and after his regular check up the vet took him for that trim when she brought him out he no hair they had shaved it all off and my dog had scrapes all over his body they actually hurt my dog. My brother never complains so he just paid for everything and left. If I would have been there I would have not paid for that grooming service charge of $65 and probably yell at someone because I was mad as hell when I got home and saw my dog like that. I pay a grooming service because I don't want to hurt my dog and that's what these people did. I could have done a better job myself and I have no training at all. My brother told me that the vet didn't even apologize for what they had done to my dog. Not only did they hurt him they left patches of long hair in some places of his body. Whoever did this had clearly never done it before or was really mad and took it out on my dog. I don't think these people care about the pets they see they only care about the MONEY. My dog was whining that day because he was hurting. Yesterday I had to take him to the emergency veterinary because I couldn't see him in pain anymore.

Hmmm. Not sure about this place. Dr. Francis was the vet. I took my two cats for rabies shot. I swear I only saw him given the shot to one cat but not the other. He said he did it but I didn't see him doing it. I was with my cat the entire time and saw everything. Is he trying to save the $38 for the one shot? I don't trust the guy. I won't go back to this place.

I have been taking my dog to this practice for over 10 years since I moved to the area. Initially my only reason was that it was the closest vet to where I lived, but they have taken excellent care of "Radar" who is now 14 years old and going strong in no small part due to their care. I have had to use a wide variety of their services, from routine shots and physicals to surgery to remove bladder stones to laser therapy for arthritis pain relief. The entire staff... doctors, techs and receptionists have always been knowledgeable and friendly to me and more importantly to my dog. Although I moved about 6 years ago and they are no longer the most convenient for me in terms of location, I still continue to use them because it would be difficult for me trust another vet as much as them after all this time. I recommend them without reservation and completely trust their competence and integrity.
