So I really wanted to like this Vetinary Clinic, they came highly recommended. I am a new pet owner and do not have anything to compare my experince to when it comes to certain etiqutte and procedures in a vet office and while I do not have expectations of perfection, I do however, expect a certain level of attention to detail and customer service and care for clients. Caring for a pet requires so many different scopes of personal dosciplines and effort. SO, my first impression was great, staff was friendly great conversation and atmosphere etc. Like anybody I was concerned about the costs overtime for a young pet. It did seem quite expensive since there were other options that were more affordable, but I wanted the best care. So the first issue I had was a conflict in scheduling the appointment after we got one of the vaccinations. They told us that we could come back within a certain time frame, so we did, when we showed up thye told us it was too soon and we would not be able to keep the appt. I was a little annoyed because they were the ones who told us that time frame was good. After letting the receptionist know she seemed to have somewhat of an attitude with me, but we clarified it, and continued with the appt. Obviuosly something small, no big deal, they passively blammed it on the vet. Second issue was overcharged for something we did not get since our pet already received the vacc some where else. So they again, balmmed the vet, and credited our account. The third time I went in, after the appt I went to pay, I had to remind them of the credit from before, they gave me the total (math seemed slightly off, but ok) paid, when I walked out the door I noticed they charged us over $100+ for something we were not given and when I went back they wanted to credit our account. This created more issues, long story short I started getting really upset and eventually they gave me the money back and I left. Each time I have been in the office and something was not done right, the front desk support had an attitude on several occassions, given me conflicting information, the worng information or they did not pay enough attention to detail to correct or check before moving ahead. On top of that we had been overcharged 2x and our pet was given a vaccinaion we had already told the staff it had gotten! I am a patient and understanding of human error, but I am a believer in customer care and service and each small issue tipped the scale for me and we will not return. As a side note I do agree with the other negative reviews for some reason they seem to treat certain people better than others. Unfortunately. So maybe everyone's experience will not be the same, but this was ours.

Dr. Liberto and his staff are top notch! I've been taking cats there for 30 years. He is always very thorough and explains things well. We continue to go there even though we moved 20 miles away. He's the best!

My dog got really sick so I brought him to Lake Forest Animal Hospital because I brought my cat in the past and had a nice experience. This experience was amazing thanks to Dr. Ken. He is truly amazing and very passionate about his job. He goes above and beyond as a veterinarian. I am truly thankful for his help, patience, and support during this time. 100% recommend him!

Unbelievably disheartening to leave such a awful review for this place but I must be honest. These imprudent people are about money hungry as it possibly gets. They do not care about your beloved pet all they see money. Please go else where and save your time from these horrid people. Re: indeed that is true, Dilam Pine is not a client at Lake Forest Animal Hospital because Dilam Pine does not exist. I prefer to remain anonymous. Nevertheless the truth is truth, I was a client there ONCE not too long, me and my dog we're quickly looked down upon as soon as I stepped one foot into that place (just look at another review by a fellow local guide Mario Gomez) he couldn't have said it any better "when they do not like you they treat you like your nobody". Listen perhaps this was just a bad day for the staff there, I understand that. However my review is coming from an honest awful experience and if I'm taking the time to write it down, is because I truly mean it. So don't be cowards accept the 1 star review and settle down. Learn to be kind even when at your worst. You all work with animals for a reason right? I hope that reason is for the love you share for them so with that said comprhend it and practice what you preach. Show welcoming kindness to EVERYONE not just the clients you deem deserving of it. The people who are employed at this clinic , when they do not like you they treat like your no body ,they become agressive and hostile, and you stay any longer there trying to get help for you pet , they end up calling the police for trespassing theirs property. So beware of this careless people, for the only thing they care is your money . Not you or especially your pet. One time I took my dog to him, he said " I hope this dog don't bite me , for I have so much money to enjoy my life". Now you see that they are more interested in money ,than taking care of our pets.

We moved to this area from Las Vegas in 1975 and immediately took our dog to the Lake Forest Animal Hospital. Over the years this Clinic has cared for six dogs that have shared our homes with us. Dr. Liberto is especially talented and caring as is his dedicated staff. We recently had to have our last dog, Lacey, helped into doggie heaven by Dr. Liberto .He let us have a private room for a half hour so we could spend time with her as we came to our decision. A wonderful place to care for your best friend.
