Do NOT trust Dr. Dougherty or Kenwood hospital - they do not care about their patients! Dr. Dougherty does NOT care about her patients and is indifferent to the dogs suffering! It has been an expensive and physically painful ( for my little dog) nightmare to deal with Kenwood! I entrusted my dog, Gaston, to Kenwood Animal Hospital last month and they returned Gaston with a serious and painful leg injury, that Kenwood is responsible for and told me that I have to pay thousands of dollars for surgery for thé injury Kenwood caused! After over a month, Dr Dougherty still refuses to repair Gaston’s leg. Gaston is still unable to use his leg, and is in horrible pain and requiring extensive surgery! Again - it is clear- Dr Dougherty does not care about her patients! She put me in touch with her insurance - Zurich North America- and after several weeks - they refuse to pay - saying it is my fault for trusting Kenwood staff to not harm my dog? I so regret entrusting my little guy to Kenwood! BEWARE - if your dog is injured by Kenwood hospital or kennel- they will expect you to pay, even if it is Kenwood’s fault!

Our golden got into some gum and consumed a lot of Xylitol, we brought him in 30 minutes before they were closing and the staff welcomed us in and took amazing care of our boy and us. All the staff were extremely welcoming and nice, and stayed after hours to finish the great care on our pup. Would definitely recommend Kenwood Animal Hospital to a friend, nothing but great things to say about our experience!

I love Kenwood Animal Hospital. I think the Doctors here are the best I have ever experienced. It was truly an honor to bring my cat and dog here for years. They have saved my cat's eyes and prolonged his vision for years- they diagnosed his eye problems during a routine annual visit. I have been going to Doctor Laden for many years. She is FANTASTIC. She never rushes the appointments, she is patient with answering questions, she was so gentle with my timid dog and she had always followed up on our appointment with a phone call. It is never pleasant to go to a vet, but here the Doctors and Staff of Kenwood A.H. makes it as relaxing and stress-less as it can be. At this place you are not forced to procedures or tests. Everything is explained with pros and cons, they consider the age of your pet, it's demeanor, it's health and it's overall condition before any action is taken- they are just super thoughtful and I strongly appreciate it. I always joked that I wish I can find Doctor Laden as MD for myself. Kenwood Animal Hospital you have my greatest respect and I will forever be grateful for everything you have done for Daisy and Oliver. Thank you. Marian Kopecky

My dog and I absolutely LOVE Kenwood! We have been coming here since I adopted him in Oct 2012. My dog has a horrible anxiety and the vets and techs are great at working with him and keeping him (and me) calm during the visit. We mostly see Dr. Prescott, but have seen Dr. Ciampa several times. Both are fantastic vets. He had a health scare several months ago and the staff made sure we got into to see someone ASAP. With his anxiety, I was very afraid to board him, but he seemed to have an awesome time hanging out there for a few days. I would highly recommend Kenwood Animal Hospital and as long as I live in the area, I will continue to bring my dog here.

I never write reviews, but felt I had to share how loving and compassionate the staff at Kenwood Animal Hospital are. My mini-dachshund has IVDD and in an emergency they not only told me to come by immediately without an appointment (something my local vet did not do), but someone met me in the parking lot to help bring him inside. Ultimately, we were referred to a neurologist, but they helped coordinate my husband's arrival as we were coming from two different places and I was pretty distraught, gave me supplies for the drive to the neurologist, and before leaving all of the staff who have gotten to know my dog, came out to wish him well, tell him that they are thinking about him, etc. Showered him in love and support. And I know he's only a dog, and I know he probably doesn't understand English, but though he couldn't move his hind legs his little tail was wagging and it meant so much to me. I love this place. You'd be hard pressed to find another that will love your pet as much as they do. I hope this review serves as my deepest gratitude for their support yesterday.
